Brother Andrew watched as Duncan walked back to the accommodation block. He knew there was something wrong with him and his wolf but he had no idea what. He had watched Duncan fight for the last two weeks and he looked like he never been trained in his life. Brother Andrew had trained with him himself, he knew he was better than this, he walked to meet him determined to find out what was wrong.
“”Brother Andrew.” Duncan greeted him as the two met.
“Can we talk?”
“Of course Brother.” replied Duncan even though talking was the last thing he wanted to do and especially not with the monk, he seemed to see right into the heart of things.
Brother Andrew decided the direct approach was going to be best.
“What’s wrong with your wolf?” he asked bluntly.
Duncan was immediately on the defensive.
“I...what...I mean, nothing, nothing’s wrong with my wolf.” he replied scowling.
