Hugh was in shock, what the hell just happened? He looked towards Sarah and Pete but neither of them looked in his direction. Pete was watching Grenville intently with an amused look on his face. Hugh turned back to Grenville as he was now really working himself into a frenzy and was making some very outlandish accusations.
“MacGregor must of falsified the results somehow Alpha” mind-linked Hugh in amazement.
“Apparently so.” came the amused reply.
“These wolves,” spat Grenville, spraying spittle down the front of himself as he jabbed a finger in the Reiver’s direction, “They want to take over from humans, to be the dominant species and will kill us to do so.”
“If we wanted to do that we would have done it by now and you wouldn’t be able to stop us.” came Alpha Armstrong’s booming voice which was laced with humour.
