An hour later, Pete watched her as she hurried out of her apartment building and climbed into his car. She looked all business in a black pencil skirt, white fitted shirt and black heels in total contrast with her usual jeans, t-shirt and converse.
Sarah felt her face burning as she recalled the erotic dreams from the night before and she couldn’t even look at Pete, he confused her silence for nervousness.

“Parley, Alpha?” questioned Sarah.
“A Parley is a meeting and an Alpha is the leader of a pack, I’ve never met him but the Reiver Alpha has a fearsome reputation.” He saw Sarah quickly glance across at him.
