The same day:
Elenor's pov:
She let the two Werewolfs clean the room and got to the kitchen. After a short preparation, she started cooking. Soon the two other girls came down the stairs and entered the kitchen.
"You already started cooking?" She heard Y/n say.
"Can we help?" Alex asked in an honest tone.
"Well, one of you can get some wine from the basement and the other one can set the table," Elenor answered.
"I'll get the wine," Y/n said.
Alex started to set the table. After a short while, Y/n came back and opened the wine, so it could breathe. Both Werewolves sat down. Elenor was finished cooking and placed the food on the table when the doorbell rang.
"I'll get the door," Alex said while hopping out of her seat.
"She is very energetic." Elenor pointed out while smiling in amusement.
Y/n just chuckled and nodded. Her smile was so charming and Elenor lost herself in her wife's eyes for a moment.
"This is my girlfriend, Robin. Robin this is Y/n's wife, Elenor." Alex pulled her out of her trance.
Elenor could hear the proudness in Alex's voice and immediately knew why. The taller girl's short blonde hair and blue eyes made her look like a princess. A smile was on her face while she held a hand out for Elenor to shake.
"Thank you for the invitation. It's nice to meet you." Robin said kindly after they shook hands.
"It's nice to meet you too. Shall we start before it gets cold?" Elenor said with her trademark smile.
"Yes please, I'm starving," Alex replied.
All sat down, Alex beside Robin and Y/n beside Elenor. Elenor noticed that her wife was nervous, very nervous to be honest. Her leg was bouncing up and down in a fast pattern. It wasn't the first time the Vampire girl noticed something like that. Y/n often had moments like this and Elenor had figured out what it was. The Werewolf girl must've anxiety problems. Elenor swore to help her as well as she could and accept the fact that her wife had mental health issues.
"Is one of her anxiety triggered?" Elenor wondered. "Why now? These are her friends she should feel relaxed.
Elenor patted Y/n's thigh under the table while looking at her. The Werewolf girl closed her eyes for a second. When she opened them again, she looked more relaxed. The two other girls didn't seem to notice. They already started to eat. Elenor checked for the final time if Y/n was okay and started to eat too.
"How was work?" Alex asked Robin.
"We have two new bodies," Robin replied.
Elenor looked at her in confusion and Robin noticed.
"I work as a coroner." She explained quickly.
"Well, that is interesting. Tell me more." Elenor said with honest interest.
Robin looked at her in surprise. Usually, people were not interested in her work. They were more disgusted but Elenor loved to hear about new things.
"Well, someone found a body the other day, with the throat ripped out. He was a Werewolf and yesterday they found two more but this time they were Vampires. Also with ripped-out throats." She told everyone.
"Do you think it's the same killer?" Y/n asked.
"The wounds are very similar. So, I think yes." Robin replied.
"Then we have a serial killer on the loose." Alex pointed out.
"Looks like it," Elenor agreed.
"The victims were all from wealthy families. I'm speaking of family members of the clan leaders. The only odd thing was that they didn't steal anything. The killer just unlived them and cut off the right hand of their victims." Robin added.
Elenor shared a look with Y/n. She was scared. The other girl seemed to notice and gave her a soft smile.
"Well, can we talk about something else before I throw up this delicious food?" Y/n asked.
All laughed except for Y/n, who had a serious expression on her face.
"That is right. The food is really good. Y/n didn't lie when she said her wife is a good cook." Alex said while taking a bite of her food.
Elenor chuckled and turned red a little. Alex was the friendliest Werewolf she ever met. Werewolves often tend to dislike her because she was a Vampire but Alex and her girlfriend were different. They had this lovely aura around them and it made Elenor feel safe.
"Thank you." She said. "So, let's talk about Y/n because she won't tell me anything about her."
Alex laughed but Y/n had a serious expression on her face like she always had. Y/n was always so serious and rarely laugh.
"Well, that is not surprising. She doesn't talk much about personal things. There is not much to say about her, except the story where she turned into a wolf for the first time. That was hilarious." Alex said with a smirk.
"Do you want to die?" Y/n said threatening her friend while her eyes were glowing.
"Come on it's funny," Robin replied.
"What? You told Robin." Y/n said in surprise.
"I had to. You know her puppy eyes. I just couldn't say no." Alex said while kissing Robin's cheek.
"Traitor," Y/n responded.
"Well, now I'm dying to hear the story," Elenor said while looking at Y/n.
She gave her wife a soft look while Y/n rolled her eyes.
"Please." She added.
"Okay, but Alex will tell it." Y/n consented.
"Well, it all started on the first full moon after her 15 birthday. It was just me and her. We were out in the woods camping because we knew she would turn without her having control over her actions." Alex told with a chuckle.
Y/n already hides her face behind her hands.
"The full moon raised and she turned. I want to comfort her, but she started to run. She smelled a mouse or something and wanted to chase after it as a wolf would do, but she didn't have full control over her limps already and run full speed into a tree." Alex said while laughing.
"Oh no," Elenor replied, while also laughing.
Robin joined and soon the room was filled with joyful laughter. Y/n was embarrassed and hid her red cheeks behind her hands.
"Face first, full speed into a tree. Did it hurt?" Alex asked mockingly.
Y/n finally revealed her face. Red dots covered her cheeks.
"You know it did." She responded in a quiet tone.
"Well, You still have a pretty face. If you ask me." Elenor said while patting Y/n's thigh again and looking at her.
Y/n turned even redder at these words. The Werewolf girl avoided eye contact with Elenor at all costs.
"She is so cute." The Vampire girl thought while her hand rested on Y/n's thigh to comfort her a little.
She turned her gaze back to the couple in front of her without taking her hand back. It was odd but she felt comfortable with all the Werewolves in her house, especially with Y/n.
Y/n's pov:
You side-eyed Elenor. She was in a deep conversation with Alex and Robin. They spoke about work and life and maybe god, but you didn't care because Elenor's hand was still on your thigh. You didn't mind at all. It was comforting and felt nice. You got more used to her touches. Never would you admit that you enjoyed spending time with her as well as being touched by the Vampire but deep inside of you was this strange feeling. The feeling you only had when Elenor was around. You gazed at your wife and got lost for a moment but snapped out of it when Alex said something about another embarrassing story of your life.
"No, we heard enough of my life for today." You interrupted her.
"Well, we have to go soon anyway. We wanted to go to the aquarium. They have a night special where you can feed the seals." Robin said.
Both looked energetic and excited about their date.
"Cool." You said.
"Do you need help with the dishes?" Alex asked.
"No, it's alright. Y/n and I are a good team when it comes to dishes." Elenor said and winked at them.
"You sure?" Robin asked.
Elenor simply nodded. You are finishing your food while talking and after a while, it was time for the couple to go. Elenor and you escorted them to the door.
"Thank you for the invitation again. It was a lovely evening." Robin said with an honest tone.
"I was glad to meet some of Y/n's friends," Elenor said.
Alex laughed and jumped in your arms and hugged you tightly.
"Thank you for finally introducing us to your lovely wife. I hope we can do this more often." She told you.
She pulled away and hugged Elenor too. You saw the surprise on your wife's face at the sudden affection, but she hugged your friend back. Alex turned her body a little so Elenor faced away from you. She gave you a look that said: " Never let her go EVER." You rolled your eyes. After the goodbye, Elenor and you started to do the dishes together.
"So, do you like them?" You asked her nervously.
She turned around to face you.
"Of course I like them. They are lovely and such a cute couple." She said honestly.
It felt like a huge stone fell from your heart. You were anxious earlier because you thought Elenor could dislike your friends. So anxious one of your anxiety was triggered, but Elenor's touch calmed you down.
"I enjoyed the evening," Elenor told you in a soft voice. "I like spending time with them and of course with you as well."
You swallowed hard while looking straight into her eyes. Her brown orbs had a friendly glow in them and you thought they looked so pretty. You could see on her face that she was completely honest.
"I get used to your presence too." You replied while turning bright red.
Elenor turned back to the dishes and smiled.
"I didn't even lie when I said that." You thought.
After you were finished, Elenor leaned on the kitchen counter.
"I have a few questions." She told you.
You looked at her curiously as she cleared her throat and started to talk.
"It is full moon soon. Do I have to be worried about you turning into a wolf and killing me? Do you have full control over your actions now?" She asked with concern on her face.
It made you sad to see her being scared of you.
"Do I care what she thinks about me?" You questioned yourself.
"No, we Werewolves are capable to control our transformation. It was centuries ago when that was not the case. We have developed. You know?" You explained to her quickly.
The concern on Elenor's face faded away slowly.
"So, you can turn whenever you want?" She asked.
"If I want to, yes." You said calmly. "It's only the first transformation that is problematic because we didn't turn by our will. It's triggered by the first full moon after our 15 birthday. After that, it's just a matter of time before you master your transformation. A lot of training and time but in the end, it is worth it," You added.
"You are saying you could have turned yourself into a wolf at any time?" She asked you in shock.
You nodded and saw a wave of fear cross her face.
"Is she scared of me now?" You thought sadly.
"The full moon has nothing to do with you Werewolfves than?" She asked you.
Her expression was something between fear and panic.
"No, the full moon just amplifies our emotions and sometimes other things. That depends on the person and I usually don't sleep well." You said with a smile.
You wanted her to feel comfortable again. Your smile faded when you saw her face. She looked paler than usual. All you wanted was to see that beautiful smile of hers but fear was written all over her face.
"Are you scared of me now?" You asked concerned.
Elenor's gaze met yours and for a moment you thought she would say yes and it made you sad.
"No, I don't think so. Just a little shocked that's all. You were honest with me. I appreciate that and I know you would never hurt me, right?" She said.
Her question took you by surprise. You cleared your thought and gave her your best smile.
"I promise." You replied.
"Good." Was her short answer.
She looked at the wall behind you. You never thought you would miss her smile, but you did. It hurt to see her like this. The concern was still written in her brown eyes.
"Hey, I made a promise and I will keep it, okay?" You said while you put a hand on her shoulder to comfort her.
She didn't pull away, so you thought it was a good sign. After a while, she looked at you and let out a heavy breath. Her trademark smile was back on her face and you couldn't help yourself but smile as well.
"I trust you." She said with a soft voice as her hands grabbed your waist and pulled you closer.
The Vampire girl's arms wrapped around you tightly. The surprise vanished after a while and let your arms hold her. Physical contact was not your thing but the way her smaller body pressed against yours didn't feel so bad after all. This was the first hug you shared with her and you wanted it to last a little longer, but sadly, she pulled away after a few seconds. It was the first time you didn't blush when she touched you except for the wedding ceremony, but that was another time. You felt comfortable around her. There was another feeling as well, but you couldn't describe it.
"Do you want to watch a movie together?" She asked you while her hands still rested on your waist.
You wanted to absorb the look in her eyes for a little longer before you answered. Her brown orbs sparkled a little in the light and your heart skipped a beat at that beautiful sight.
"Sure. Which one?" You replied.
"How about Harry Potter?" She said with a smile.
You nodded and were happy to see that charming smile again. Without losing any time, Elenor grabbed your hand and dragged you to the living room.
