Itachi and Jiang Yao laughed for a minute straight before stopping.
They were out of breath
Itachi looked at Jiang Yao and thought how beautiful she looked when she laughed and smiled.
He was caught in a daze and Jiang Yao noticed how he was looking at her and started blushing.
"You should get ready to leave." She said looking at the floor with a blush.
"There's food in the kitchen to your right, there is a shower in the room you were in and some clothes in the closet." She still didn't make eye contact with him.
"So you should shower and eat before heading off" Jiang Yao said and then she ran off.
Itachi heard his stomach screaming at him, so he quickly had a shower and made his way into the kitchen. Many dishes were on the table and the delicious aroma coming off them made Itachis mouth water.
Not long after it was like a tornado went through the table, there was no food left, only bones.
Itachi rubbed his stomach then burped. He got up and headed out the front.
Gou was leaning against the car waiting for Itachi while talking to a man that gave off the same vibe as Gou. The man was clutching his stomach while laughing out loud…
"Are you laughing at me number 2 ?" Gou had an embarrassed look on his face while clenching his fists. "I'm not telling you shit anymore."
Boom Gou kicked Number 2 and he went flying, before rolling a few times on the floor but he was still laughing.
"Hahahah" Number 2 found it hard to get up off the floor not because he was hurt from the kick but because he couldn't control his laughter. "You tried to make a good first impression but youahhhahaha." Number 2 couldn't finish his words and just laughed.
Itachi saw the whole thing. "Are these guys nuts" he thought to himself. Itachi couldn't believe what he was seeing. The force from that kick could send him straight to the icu.
But Number 2 got up like it was nothing. The other thing that surprised him was the fact that number 2 didn't get mad but instead he was laughing.
Thinking back to the time when his squad tried to infiltrate Donghai back then, sent shivers down Itachis spine. "We could've died" Itachi thought.
"Hey lil man you can call me Number 2" Number 2 dusted himself off and walked towards Itachi. "You're scary good" Number 2 gave him 2 thumbs up with a massive grin on his face. "If you grew up here, who knows, you might even be stronger then Brother Fang"
Itachi did not know who this Brother Fang was, but if someone as strong as Number 2 had respect and awe in his voice while talking about someone, then that person must be crazy strong.
"Catch you later lil man" says number 2 as he headed into the house. "I'm starved"
Itachi made his way towards the car and hopped in the back seat. Gou was glaring at him through the rear view mirror so he kept his eyes down.
He reached out to close the car door when….
BOOM
The front door of the house was flung open and number 2 with a red face and smoke coming out his ears like a bull charged at the car. "Itachi you bastard!!" Number 2 screamed hysterically "You finished all the damn food".
Itachis heart almost lept out of his mouth and he broke out in cold sweat.
Vrooom
The car screams to life and zoomed out of the drive way. "You owe me one kid" Gou said.
Itachi could finally breath normally and his hands that were gripping the seat finally loosened and relaxed.
He looked back and could still see number 2, standing in the middle of the road pointing at the car and screaming something, but he couldn't hear anything. Itachi made a promise in his heart that he would stay as far away from number 2 and food from now on.
The car ride lasted 25 minutes before it pulled up into a factory. Gou led Itachi to the back of the factory where screams and howls could be heard.
When they got around the corner Itachi could see an obstacle course of some sort with men that ranged from around his age to about 25 years old.
Some men were running through the obstacle course, while some were just climbing to their feet from getting flung out.
Itachi could feel the hair on the back of his neck stand on end.
"Come" Gou noticed Itachi in a daze and called out to him. "Big boss wants to see you first"
Gou led Itachi to where Jiang Ning was sitting and greeted him. "Big boss" he said then went and stood behind Jiang Ning.
Itachi looked at Jiang Ning and could feel the pressure coming off of him. It was like an endless pit of raw power but it was also calm. He could not understand it.
"How do you feel?" Jiang Nings voice brought Itachi back to his senses.
"B-better then ever" Itachi tried to be calm but he was too nervous.
"Can you feel any changes in your body?" Jiang Ning asked while looking Itachi up and down as if inspecting him.
Itachi looked up at Gou then back at Jiang Ning then finally. "I-I um… I think I've already gone through puberty s-so I don't think there should be anymore changes"
Pfft Hahahahaha the man next to Jiang Ning started laughing as he stood up. "Big boss meant in here" as he tapped on Itachis stomach. "Is there a swirling ball of energy in here?"
Itachis face went red with embarrassment, he couldn't speak for a while. He wished the ground would open up and swallow him whole.
"Well is there?" the man tilted his head while looking at Itachi with a questioning look on his face.
U-uuhh yeah i um I've always had that feeling in my stomach b-but it's just gotten stronger after drinking the water. I thought it was normal, I didn't think that it was much of a change." Itachi looked up
Jiang Ning was hardly ever surprised but this time he had a look of surprise on his face. Gou was confused while the man standing in front of Itachi was quite amused.
"That's a lie right?" The man asked. "Then why are you so weak?" The man said before Itachi could answer.
"I-I um I…
"You've never had martial arts training have you?" Jiang Ning cut him off.
Itachi nodded. "I've only d-done army training, s-self defence and the like but n-never martial arts."
"That makes sense, if you practiced while young you'd be a grandmaster in no time and after the drinking the water and understanding the manual you would probably be advanced grandmaster." The man rubbed his chin. "And that's selling it short. Damn you are one scary kid."
"Fei run him through the course and take him to the academy for the next three months and then take him to assist Fang Qiu. I have to go home." Jiang Ning stood up and walked towards the car. "I have high expectations of you kid".
