We were in the coffee shop, not long after we were served two hot cups of coffee. "I should call doctor Carla to help you fix an appointment, you need it" Milly said while trying to blow her coffee. "For the last time I do not need to seek medical help, please stop pushing it" I said almost shouting. We continued to drink our coffee when Milly got a call from someone, it sounded like she was talking to a client, because she looked nervous. She dropped her phone after a few minutes of negotiating. "Guess what, I just got a call from a client, he's going to pay me a large amount of money for my catering service." Milly said with excitement very noticeable in her voice. "When do you meet him for the menu" I asked. "He said tomorrow". "Tomorrow sounds great I'll tag along" I said. In no time after hearing Milly's good news we rushed our coffee and left the shop. We went straight to Milly's house to prepare for the meeting with the client. Yes, her house is quite bigger than mine, very big. Her entire bedroom is my entire house. We walked in and she took me straight to her office, she went to do some boring work. "I'm really happy for you Milly, at least your life is improving and I'm here to witness it evolve" I said curving my lips into a smile. "Would you like to spend the night here" Milly asked. "So you can be early for tomorrow's meeting" she added. She knew I didn't like sleeping at her place, I don't like sleeping anywhere beside my house. "my house isn't that far from here" I said. "I know, it's been a while since we've had any girls time, I've been very busy with work and trying to settle things at home" Milly said holding my hands and giving me a hug. I couldn't say no after she pleaded with me, after all she was still my best friend. We watched some movies before finally retiring for the night.
