I was just sitting on my bed thinking about where all the stuff I was with when I got shot would be when the doctor and two other nurses came in. The doctor was 6'1". He was a 31-year-old, Asian man with a strong jawline and black eyes. As he entered he came to the bed and sat next to me
"You alright son?", He said
"Yeah Dad, don't feel that much pain. Although I am a bit dizzy", I replied
"Well that's a given, you've been asleep for a whole day"
"No wonder I've been so tired"
"You also lost a bit of blood, although not that much that it would be an issue. But there is something else that is."
"What?"
"I assume you already looked at the scare on your chest, and I think you already know that's where your heart's meant to be"
"So I don't have a heart?"
"No, you still do. It's just that at that moment your heart shifted away from where it's meant to be"
"But I'm ok, right?"
"Yeah, there isn't really any complication. But we're gonna run a few tests then I'll take you home"
After all the tests, my dad gave me some medications and then drove me. He went back to work when he dropped me off but made sure I was alright by myself.
Just to properly introduce myself, my name is Nathan Yamakazi and I'm an orphan. That doctor was my dad, he adopted me when I was 5 and his name is Isha Yamakazi. My dad is pretty busy with his job so I'm usually the only one who's at home but it isn't that bad since he knows I'm mature enough not to cause any trouble.
I go to Olympia High in Orlando Florida. I'm in the 9th grade and I only have 4 friends. There's Vanessa (the girl who sent me on the death mission), Jack (the craziest guy I know), Felix and Elizabeth (I call her Ellie).
I went up to my room and got my phone that my dad kept on my bed. I went back downstairs to the living room and saw that I had like a million notifications. Before checking all those I ordered some Chick-fil-A and sat down to read and check all the notifications.
There were 5 messages from Jack, 7 from Felix, 11 from Ellie, 2 calls from Vanessa, and 9 messages from her as well.
I replied to all of them except Vanessa, telling them what happened and making them know that I was alright (also asking for anything major that happened while I was gone). I didn't message Vanessa because I would rather call her to tell her about everything. And when I did, well we had a lot to talk about.
