That afternoon, Bella picked Reef up at his office to go to the hospital together. It was time to remove the cast on Reef's leg. The fracture in his knee bone wasn't too severe so he didn't need to wear the cast for too long. The doctor who treated him in NYC had sent a referral letter to his colleague, a doctor in Saco. He will examine Reef's leg and, if possible, release him from the cast.
"Are you going back to the office, Mr. Davis?" asked Grace who was called to be told that Reef was going to the hospital.
"If possible, I'll come straight back."
"It's okay, sir. Take your time. I've canceled some of your meetings today and transferred others to your appointed director."
"Thank you, Grace." Reef felt very grateful to have such an alert secretary like Grace. "I'll let you know if I can't get back to the office."
"OK, Mr. Davis."
