{ PoV: Rance }
Hmm..... looks like my plan succeeded.
After I fucked Maria for an entire hour, she's fine at this very moment. That was quite a good thing to have, even her mind was clouded with lustful thoughts for a few moments.
Oh, and she's still fine, just recovering. She would come out after a short while.
Now... what should I do with these soldiers?
"Yeah, uh.... We don't need any more allies right now. A force of 300 is enough for me." I spoke, shaking my head left and right. You know, I can't really have more than 300 units, plus, these guys are already loyal and swore allegiance to me. "Just put them to their cells here in L'Zille. They're prisoners of war now."
"Yes, sir!"
80 Soldiers then proceeded to take away the captured prisoners of war, while the remaining 20 stood their ground, awaiting orders.
Glancing at the soldiers clearly this time, only four of them were actually female. Which I know of as pretty rare, considering that empire's weak policies and sexism amongst them.
"Well, that's all over. Now, before I dismiss you going to have to get your wounds treated through some healers or items that can help you recover! I don't want my soldiers be in bad health when we are in the middle of a war! You're dismissed!"
They all saluted, before some of them (all women by the way) stayed in place with different expressions.
"What? You've got something in your chest needing to be let out?"
"Is there any other reason for this?" One of the women asked, staring at me with the intent of questioning me.
Any other reason, huh? Let me think.... my experience on Helman was short-lived, because I was considered a criminal of high position there, at least nobody recognizes me through my face, but just an outfit and a mask.
Hmm.... how do I convince them to stay?
"Your empire is decaying, it's former glory falling from grace, are you sure you want to stay there and let it fall and die?"
Suddenly, their faces became downcast behind their helmets the moment they processed my question. Hopefully they won't ask me questions again.
"I-"
"Scram. I've got no time to talk right now. Go tell the others that question if you want common sense in this world where that barely exists." I turned my back towards them and entered the mansion to leave them alone.
I'll have to manage everything in L'Zille for a long while, that means calming down the townspeople affected by Helman's invasion, and quenching down their rage to not attack my soldiers soon enough. And also about how I should manage the town for a few days while training my soldiers.
Aside from that, Maria was recovering, judging by how she was right now.
"You okay now?"
Maria nodded without hesitation, sighing with relief as she quickly came downstairs, and both Sill and Kanami were out of the room to follow her.
"Good, just get some rest and we'll wait for them to come."
After a long rest, the soldiers from Leazas that were formerly brainwashed, except for those inside the Free City, have arrived alongside several people from the town of Custom.
{ Rance's PoV Over }
[ ~ Line • Break ~ ]
It could be said that the Leazas Soldiers were quite confused about the friendly gestures of Helmanian Soldiers in yellow uniform under their usual armor, but strangely enough, no conflict ensued from the both of them.
Even so, they still were wary about the Helmanian Soldiers who said to have rebelled against their own empire. So, they were disarmed.
After they arrived, several people from the town of Custom rushed to the largest mansion in the city once they saw a blue haired girl outside it.
"Maria, something wrong?" Shizuka asked, in which the girl glanced at her with a smile.
"Yeah! Rance's plan was a dangerous one, to an extent. I don't want to know what happens if he doesn't succeed." Maria replied, shaking herself out of those thoughts.
"And, where's him?"
"Rance? He's.... well... That shouldn't be your concern, though I might have to ask him to get certain materials for.... something that's a secret right now. But I promise it would be something that would definitely help us in freeing the cities and towns Helman has captured, and eventually Leazas..."
Shizuka understood what Maria was speaking, though was irritated that she couldn't yet talk to the man whom she actually had feelings for, yet couldn't properly tell him.
The leader of the Leazas Red Corps, Rick Addison then appeared from the sidelines along with a Helman Rebel Soldier behind him.
"I assume Rance is here?" He asked, and before anybody could answer, the man himself exited the mansion.
Rance seemed to look very serious at this moment.
"Hey, are the leaders here yet? We're going to be meeting right tomorrow inside this building. There's the living room where we can talk about our plans.... and about the formation of a new force." He said, before going back inside.
The moment he did, was when an old man wearing an eye patch approached him.
"Young man, I'm here to say thank you for your efforts at freeing us from the brainwashing that Helman did to us. Honestly, it was pretty humiliating for someone like us loyal soldiers of Leazas." He spoke, before introducing himself as Barres Provence while they shook hands. He did remind Barres about their meeting the next day, though.
While he was roaming around the mansion to take an even closer look, Mekill approached him.
"Ah, Lord Rance! It looks like you've succeeded, and most of us are happy about it! Though... what would you do now?" Mekill spoke, with renewed vigor as the hopelessness she had was completely gone.
"Me? I'm thinking of fixing some houses recently destroyed with magic, it doesn't really take much because I'm taking my time out here."
Amazed at his response, Mekill began to beam up to him and talk with him for a long while, before eventually returning to her maid duties.
Rance proceeded to fix several houses and buildings destroyed by Helmanian Soldiers when they invaded L'Zille with the help of Sill, whom he taught how to use this type of magic months ago.
Once he was tired, he returned to the mansion after eating dinner and was led to his own room by Mekill, which had an already fixed bed and was cleaned up and reserved for him (and Sill).
But....
"Hey, Kanami. You sleeping on the ceiling?" Rance asked, and Kanami once never responded. He could tell she was half-asleep using his [Reading Iris], and once they slept, they would be prepared for a meeting next day.
