I ABSOLUTELY, CANNOT believe my little cousin is at this weird ass school! Not only is it a shock to see him but, he's gotten so tall… Well I mean it's only natural, it HAS been seven entire years since I moved away.
But to be here of all places… I'm very curious.
"HEY! DON'T IGNORE US!!"
A moderately tall girl that look strikingly similar to Mai (the one that was hitting on me), walked up on me in a frustrated attitude. She was pretty much the same in appearance as Mai except for the long hair and glasses.
But they were FAR from the same.
She grabbed my collar of my black shirt and pushed me against the chalkboard, creating a loud thud. For some reason, her grip was inhumanly powerful and I could barely budge, even a little.
"It's respectful for you to introduce yourself to a new class. You should know that." She stared deep into my ever-so-terrified soul.
"You know what, you're completely right. Sincerest apologies," I said as I gulped hard due to the EXCESSIVE pressure on my throat, "but it's equally as disrespectful to jack-up your new classmate?"
"He has a point Maki." A giant speaking panda…said?
"Shake."
Words can't even describe how confused I am right now. A malicious twin that attacks others unprovoked, a giant panda that can speak, and a masked short guy that spoke in onigiri ingredient? This has to be the second weirdest day ever.
Yuta ran up and slightly pushed down her hand with a nervous smile on his face.
"Maki, calm down. Furō here is my cousin that I haven't seen in nearly seven years! We're just happy to see each other, that's all."
THANK THE WORLD FOR YUTA OKKOTSU!!
"Fine, I guess." she said as she let go of my collar.
After I rubbed my neck due to the mild irritation, Gojo's lanky body eased into the room where he did a little spin and grabbed my shoulder.
As always, I'm so utterly confused.
"Good morning, first-years! Today we have a new student that happens to be related to me and Yuta's ancestor, making him a distant relative of mine too!" Gojo cheered only to be met with silence and poker faces.
This sure is a live— WAIT WHAT?? I'M RELATED TO THIS CLOWN?!!
"It also appears he already made a good impression.." he glanced over at Maki with a grim smile on his face, which she turned away with a big frown.
"Yes, sorry. I was excited to see Yuta. Anyways, my name is Furōkawa and two days ago, I was just some ordinary guy working at a convient store. I look foward to learning about Jujutsu here." I bowed towards the 4 students and took my seat next to Yuta, of course.
"Alright, class dismissed."
…
…
…
HUH?
An expression of bewilderment was plastered all over my face. I thought you were supposed to LEARN at school. I come just to leave?
"Sorry Gojo, but aren't we supposed to be…well you know..learning?"
He looked at me and smiled.
"That's what you're about to do! Everyone, TO THE FIELD."
Gojo giggled while skipping down the hallway. They all groaned and walked sluggishly along. I followed them around quietly
Damn, seems like no one has the spirit today.
"Anyways Yuta, how'd you end up here in the first place? Seems you have had to have something crazy happen," I smirked at my younger cousin.
"It's a long, long story…"
He seemed a bit hesitant to tell me so I guess I could try to yield an answer to a different question.
"Well, are you still in touch with Rika? I haven't heard of any of you guy's whereabouts since I left."
"Well, to put it simply, she was killed probably a month after you moved away."
I stopped in my tracks for a second, stunned at the information I just received. I remember when me, Yuta, and Rika would play at the park everyday, all day until our shoes fell apart. Sometimes, bad things are just bound to happen to others unfortunately.
"Oh..I'm sorry to hear that man. Sorry to leave you alone during that time." I said as we kept walking towards the exit.
"It's fine, I understood how things were with your family. Besides, Rika never TRULY died. I accidentally cursed her by never accepting her death.."
"W-what..?"
Yuta looked at his ring and clenched his fist.
"I turned her into a Vengeful Spirit of unimaginable power and only up until 2 days ago was I able to dispel her curse. So now I'm working my way back up to that power I once cursed our friend with."
"A Vengeful… WHAT?
I…ummm.. WOW to say the least. All that information just dumped onto me in such little time. So Yuta accidentally turned Rika after she died into monster? That's pretty cruel… but I guess I can't blame him since we were so young at the time.
"It's a lot to take in at first, sorry about that. But things are okay now. I've accepted Rika's death and now she continues to live alongside me in spirit."
MAN that's adorable!
"Hurry up you slowpokes, Gojo is gonna get upset!" Maki yelled at us.
We both easily picked up our pace and made our way to the field with the rest of the group. We all lined up single filed with Gojo standing in front of us.
"Okay class, today we will teach Furōkawa what it means to be a Jujutsu Sorcerer!"
Everyone turned to look at me, myself being at the end of the line.
Uh oh…
