#Chapter74 Keeping the distance
It's been hours since I got home, and Lucas isn't here or answering my calls. I want to tell him everything that happened and that there are no misunderstandings between the two. I try to stay awake, waiting for him to arrive, but my eyes close with how tired I am, forcing me to go to rest.

The following day:
Dammit! I scream inside as nausea forces me to rush out of bed and go to the bathroom. I barely manage to get in front of the toilet and turn my stomach.
/"Bella... are you okay?/" I hear Lucas ask me, but I can't turn around to see him because my stomach turns again. /"Our son is giving you a pretty tough battle, huh?/" he comments animatedly and holds my hair to help me.
