#Chapter56 Clearing the storm
After three hours of dinner and after-meal, Lucas finally closes the house door when my father leaves. He looks at me /"we didn't do too bad,/" he comments, making me laugh.
/"Not at all, you've made wedding plans and everything,/" I complain, crossing my arms as I lean my back against the pillar behind me.
Lucas walks towards me as if I were his prey and smiles /"and that bothers you?/" he asks humorously.
I immediately deny, /"no, but I thought my father would never forgive you for what happened. The day I tried to kill me,/" I explain when his arms surround my waist and bring me close to him.
