Klytie grabbed the duke and jumped at the top. The energy strengthened his legs, and they both arrived at the top effortlessly.
" What happened to Aaron? I saw him disappear. " the duke said. He grabbed the necklace to activate the force field.
" Ah! "
The duke let go of the necklace. It burned. Feel like grabbing hot coal, not that he ever grabbed it before.
The necklace fell onto the sand. It slowly melted and transformed into a green vein. Two leaves popped from the vein and they twisted. A flower of yellow blossom under the dark sky.
" Oh, God. " The duke let out his voice.
Klytie didn't voice any sound, he observed this phenomenon. The unbalance energy from the necklace vanished. Klytie didn't like a force necklace, they controlled the law of space with science.
Humans should not have the capability to create and manipulate nature. That is what he always thought. No, that thought didn't only occur in him, it appeared in every knight. Because all knights used nature energy. For them nature was precious.
The unbalance was gone.
" Did you see something, Klytie? " The duke asked as he wrapped his hand with a cloak.
Klytie slowly nodded. " Yes. Although I am not sure. I have a valid answer. "
" Well, speak about it. I am worried about Aaron. If he dies right now, my Ravenwood will have no future. " The duke worried.
" About Aaron, I saw him dissolve into space. I can't interpret that situation. But don't worry I think he is safe. "
" Based on what? " The duke was angered.
" It is just a knight instinct sir. As for the necklace, energy destroyed it and transformed it into the plaThe reasons are unknown. Must be an external influence. " Klytie answered quickly.
" Let go to the house, for now, my lord."
The duke nodded. " Yeah, let go. " His eyes were distinct and cold as if he made a sudden life-changing decision. " I will give you a mission when we reach the House. "

Present time.
Aaron stared at his past. Beside him was the forest God. The darkness covered them again.
[ Will you come back to your continent?] God asked.
Aaron sighed. He didn't know how but he arrived at a new place. He thought of some possibility. Like running in nothingness teleported him into the nearest continent.
He had disguised himself as a new society. He changed his mind, he forget about everything.
He made up some background and stay in the city B. He met his girlfriend. He made some friends. He lived a normal life as he imagine.
The guilt he felt about abandoning his people. The fear of being judged. It had been four years. A young teenager had transformed into a young adult.
He reflected on all things. But it didn't change his feeling toward being Hero. It got worse since he experience freedom.
"Haha. "
A dry lifeless laugh echoed through the darkness.
Even so, even when he felt the freedom he dreams of, he felt dry. Hollow. Empty.
Nothing could fill his life anymore. That's why he needed his girlfriend. To feel something he loses that day.
He did want to live that is why he can face that tiger. That is the reason he can fight without being afraid. He had nothing to lose and nothing to gain.
But through fate, he obtained energy. The fundamental force of the knight, although the use of energy differs from Klytie, he had it.
' Maybe the rule is not the same as ours. ' Aaron thought.
[ I am waiting for an answer.] God remained him.
Aaron's eyes light up. A boy had healed a long time.
" I will. I will carry the title of hero. " He declared. " I will lead my men. "
God smiled. Aaron didn't see the smile.
The stone tablet from the last time appeared in front of Aaron. Just like last time, it asked for his name.
" Aaron of the Ravenwood. "
A stone shine in bright.
( You are the third to write the name on her record. What symbol do you represent?)
' Third? 'he thought. But it didn't take much space in his mind as he read another sentence.
Represent.
That was an interesting question for Aaron. The hero should inspire others. Not they must. He thought. He reminisced about his experience.
" Doubt," he answered.
Yeah, those were the correct choice for him. He doubted himself. He doubted the fate that chose him. His eyes were so grey no colour to represent no clear line to it.
( Hero of hope.)
(Hero of death.)
(You are now a Hero of doubt.)
Aaron was now the hero.
He stepped into the crack created by the stone tablet.
{History called this moment the birth. The section of birth. This was the birth of doubt. Now shall we look at the birth of death.)
