With the birth of their son, Luca and Ciera experienced some financial difficulties, but their love and concern for their family did not waver in the least.
But for some reason, Luca and Ciera have been struggling lately. Compared to the financial crisis itself, the problem's underlying cause is a little more serious.
Well, as you may have guessed, it is naming their lovely newborn child.
It's been about 1.5 years since their adorable boy was born, but they still haven't given him a proper name. For the time being, they simply use familiar sounds and endearing nicknames to refer to their baby boy, to which he reacts by laughing and doing baby things.
Both Luca and Ciera had spent countless hours poring over baby name books and talking with relatives and their friends, discussing the meanings and origins of each name and weighing their options carefully. But despite their efforts, they were still unable to settle on the perfect name for their precious little boy.
Ciera loved names that were unique and had a special meaning, while Luca preferred more traditional names that had stood the test of time.
They had even gone so far as to create a list of their top ten names, but none of them seemed to fit their son perfectly. Each night, after putting their son to bed, they would sit together on the couch, scrolling through endless lists of names and trying to narrow down their choices. They both had their favorites, but they couldn't seem to agree on one that felt just right.
As they sat on the couch, feeling more and more discouraged, they couldn't help but wonder if they would ever find the perfect name for their little boy. They knew they wanted something that would reflect his personality and spirit, something that would be a source of pride for him throughout his life.
To be honest, Luca was a bit serious about naming, he was overwhelmed by the number of good traditional names he came across in a few months.
Nobody can blame Luca, it's only natural for a loving father to give his child a lovely name.
Ciera, on the other hand, was much more relaxed about the whole naming process. She would watch Luca with amusement as he furrowed his brow and muttered to himself about the every good names he came across.
Sometimes she would tease him, calling him a lost child in a candy store. But despite her teasing, Ciera was always there to comfort him when he felt frustrated or defeated. She would wrap her arms around him and tell him that they would eventually find the perfect name for their lovely son.
After seeing Luca getting stressed out, Ciera glanced at Luca and stated with a smile if you stress too much you just get headaches tomorrow, she also added that if he have a headache she will be heartbroken and it also gives her extra works to do.
In a husky voice, Ciera questioned "You do not want your lovely wife to do additional works?.....do you?...
"Luca had shivers after hearing that and murmured good night before hurrying to bed.
"A husband sits with baby name books in hand,
Searching for the perfect name, oh so grand,
His wife watches on with a smile so wide,
Teasing her husband, she can't help but confide,
They bicker and argue, over this name and that,
But in the end, they always make up, no time to chat,
For there's a little boy, waiting for his name,
A name that will bring him joy and fame."

*The Next day morning*
It was a bright and sunny morning, and Ciera was up early, bustling around the kitchen making breakfast for her family. The smell of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling meat curry filled the air, and the sound of the bubbles popping up from the boiling of rice echoed through the house.
Luca emerged from the bedroom, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and taking in the delicious smells that wafted through the house. He grinned at his wife, who was busily flipping omelette on the stove.
"Good morning, my love," he said, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "It smells amazing in here."
Ciera smiled back at him, feeling happy and content. She had always loved cooking for her family, and seeing the joy on their faces when they enjoyed her meals was one of her greatest pleasures.
They sat down at the table together, enjoying their breakfast and chatting about their plans for the day. Luca had to head to his fruit shop to open up for the day, and Ciera had some housework and cleaning stuffs to do.
After breakfast, Luca thanked Ciera for the meal and gave her a quick kiss goodbye before rushing out the door. Ciera watched him go, feeling a twinge of sadness as she always did when he left. But she knew he had work to do and was grateful for his hard work and care for the family.
Once Luca was gone, Ciera turned her attention to their little lovely baby boy, who was eagerly waiting in his high chair for his breakfast. She scooped up a spoonful of oatmeal and began feeding him, smiling at his adorable little face as he giggled and cooed.
Ciera was in the middle of feeding her little boy when she heard a knock at the door. She assumed it was Luca, who had forgotten something and had come back home. She quickly wiped her hands on a towel and rushed towards the door, eager to greet her husband.
But when she opened the door, she was surprised to see her father standing there, a big smile on his face.
"Hello, my dear," he said, giving her a warm hug. "I came to see my grandson. May I come in?"
Ciera was overjoyed to see her father, whom she hadn't seen in a while. She welcomed him in with open arms and led him to the living room, where the baby was happily gurgling away in his high chair.
Her father's eyes lit up as soon as he saw his grandson. He scooped him up in his arms, marveling at how much he had grown since his last visit.
"He's so big now!" he exclaimed, bouncing the baby on his knee. "And so cute! What's his name?"
Ciera explained that they were still trying to decide on the perfect name for their little boy, and her father nodded understandingly.
"Well, take your time," he said. "It's an important decision. But he's already got so much personality, I'm sure whatever name you choose will fit him perfectly."
They spent the morning catching up and playing with the baby, with Ciera's father cooing and laughing as the little boy wiggled and squirmed in his arms.
As Ciera's father played with the baby, Ciera got to work on preparing lunch for Luca. She knew he would be tired from working outside in the hot, sunny weather, and wanted to make sure he had a hearty meal to come home to.
She bustled around the kitchen, chopping vegetables and seasoning meat, while her father continued to coo and laugh with the baby. Ciera couldn't help but smile at the sight of the two of them together - her father was such a natural with children, and it warmed her heart to see him bonding with her own little one.
The time flew by, and before she knew it, it was already afternoon.
Just then, she heard the sound of Luca's bike outside. She wiped her hands on piece of cloth and went to greet him at the door, eager to see his tired face light up at the sight of his family.
Sure enough, as soon as Luca saw his father-in-law playing with their child, his face broke into a wide smile. "Hey, Dad!" he said, giving him a hearty hug. "Good to see you again."
They chatted for a few minutes, catching up on old times and discussing their plans for the day. Luca was tired from work, but happy to be home with his family.
Ciera set the table for lunch, while her father continued to play with the baby, making him laugh and coo.
As they sat down to eat, Ciera's father said grace, giving thanks for the food and for their time together as a family. They all tucked in, enjoying the delicious meal that Ciera had prepared, and chatting and laughing as they ate.
As they sat down to lunch, Ciera's father brought up the topic of their baby boy's name. "So, have you come up with any ideas yet?" he asked, glancing his son-in-law.
Luca shook his head, looking a little frustrated. "We've been trying to think of something for weeks now, but nothing seems to fit," he admitted.
Ciera nodded in agreement. "We want something that represents both of us, but it's hard to find a name that does that," she said.
Her father nodded thoughtfully, taking a bite of his food. "Well, you know, your son really has the personality of both of you," he said.
Luca and Ciera exchanged a surprised glance. They hadn't thought about it like that before.
"So why don't you give him a name that represents both of you?" their grandfather continued. "Something that combines both of your names."
Luca and Ciera looked at each other again, still a little unsure. But then their grandfather laughed. "Why not name him Luci?" he suggested. "It has the starting letter of both Luca and Ciera, and it's a unique name that represents both of you."
For a moment, there was silence...
"Luci," Ciera said the name quietly inside her mind, testing out the name.
Ciera couldn't help but she was little worried about Luca's reaction to the name, as he always seemed to prefer more traditional names. But to her surprise, he was laughing and nodding his head in agreement.
"I like it," he said, looking over at Ciera. "If you like it too, then it's settled. Luci it is."
Ciera felt a wave of relief wash over her. She had been so worried about finding the perfect name for their son, but now it felt like everything was falling into place.
------------------------------------------
After lunch, Ciera's father said goodbye to Ciera and his son-in-law and headed out, telling them that he had a few works to do. Ciera and Luca waved goodbye and thanked him for coming over.
As he left, Ciera couldn't help but feel grateful for her father's visit. It had been a long time since she had seen him, and seeing him playing with Luci had brought her so much joy.
As Ciera's father left the house, Luca and Ciera breathed a sigh of relief. They had been so worried about finding the perfect name for their child, but now it felt like a weight had been lifted off their shoulders.
"I can't believe we finally found a name," Ciera said, smiling at Luca. "And Luci...it's perfect."
Luca nodded his head, a smile on his face. "I know. It's like it was meant to be."
As they sat there, basking in the joy of their new son and the love that surrounded them, they couldn't help but laugh at how easily Ciera's father had come up with the name.
"He's always been good at thinking on his feet," Ciera said, shaking her head in amazement.
Luca chuckled. "I guess it runs in the family."
"Little did they know, the name they chose,
Had a hidden meaning, that nobody knows,
For Luci, short for Lucifer it seems,
A name that carries dark and eerie dreams,
But Luca and Ciera, unaware of the lore,
Proudly gave their son, a name to adore."
