"Where are you going Kanaya? Don't you have class this morning Kanaya?" asked Pak with a frown on seeing his wife coming down the stairs.
"Kanaya does not have morning lectures. Kanaya wants to play. Kanaya is lazy at Pak Daren's house," Kanaya answered and then walked towards the main door.
"You don't have breakfast first Kanaya?" Pak Daren shouted for Kanaya who was already in the living room.
"Kanaya has no appetite for breakfast with Pak Daren," Kanaya said with a loud scream.
Mr. Daren took a deep breath when he saw the attitude of his wife, Kanaya, who was going about her own way. But what can Mr Daren do? If Kanaya was restrained it would be impossible. This is Mr Daren's choice. Mr. Daren must accept all consequences as long as Kanaya still does not change his attitude. Okay. Mr. Daren will give in for a while now. Mr. Daren continued to enjoy the breakfast served by the household assistant who worked in Mr. Daren's private house. Do you have a wife who cooks, a household assistant, Mr. Killer Lecturer?

"Are you hungry, do you like Kanaya?" asked Dita, a classmate of Kanaya's on campus.
"Hungry Dita. "I haven't eaten since last night," replied Kanaya while chewing the food in her mouth.
Dita shook her head to see Kanaya's famous sloppy behavior. How will Kanaya have a boyfriend or husband if she behaves like this? No femininity? Look.. Even eating Kanaya is messy like this. Duta thought in his heart seeing Kanaya's behavior while eating. Dita rolled her eyes to see Pak Daren, the killer lecturer, who was now standing behind Kanaya. The signal from Mr. Daren who asked Dita to leave Kanaya was immediately obeyed by Dita who did not want to have problems with the killer lecturer on their campus. Kanaya, who was enjoying the food in her own way, did not realize that Dita had left Kanaya and Mr. Daren or Kanaya's husband was now sitting in the place where Dita was sitting earlier.
"Full? Do you want to add more food?" asked Mr. Daren while supporting his chin with his hand looking at Kanaya.
Kanaya stopped eating when she heard a baritone voice that Kanaya recognized not far from Kanaya's current sitting position. Kanaya rolled her eyes to see the killer lecturer who was now united as her husband sitting where Dita was sitting earlier. Kanaya looked around looking for Dita's whereabouts and ignored Pak Daren's whereabouts. But Kanaya did not find Dita around them.
"Who are you looking for? Your friend who was sitting here earlier?" Pak Daren again asked Kanaya who was still looking for Dita.
Kanaya ignored Mr. Daren's words and then went back to enjoying his food after not finding Dita around him. Whatever. Kanaya thought to herself with Mr. Daren's presence near Kanaya at this time. Mr. Daren took a deep breath and saved Kanaya. Not without feeling emotionally ignored by the student who has now become his wife. However, Pak Daren tried to be patient while dealing with Kanaya's attitude. Even a hard stone can be crushed if it is splashed with water continuously, right? Moreover, the human heart can still be turned back and forth by other humans by praying for the help of Pancipa? Hard nature doesn't have to be fought with hard nature, right? Mr. Daren's more experience in dealing with other human traits made Mr. Daren able to think and act wiser in dealing with Kanaya.
After the chicken noodles in the bowl were drained without any left, Kanaya left Mr. Daren in an indifferent manner without reprimanding Mr. Daren in the slightest. Kanaya's attitude really tests the faith and patience of Mr. Daren, the killer lecturer who is usually respected and feared by students on campus, now seems to be submissive to Kanaya, his little wife.

Kanaya widened her eyes when she saw that Nayra's mother was at Mr. Daren's house. Yes. Kanaya, who had just returned home, gathered with her friends at the cafe and just arrived home when maghrib time was almost upon us and the maghrib call to prayer, which was certain to be heard, would resound in a few moments. Meanwhile, Mr. Daren has been at home since three in the afternoon because he was late returning home after his teaching activities on campus were finished.
"Where have you been, Kanaya? Your husband has gone home first. Why are you only coming home at this hour?" Nayra's mother asked, unable to understand Kanaya's attitude which had not changed after marriage.
"That's normal ma'am. "Eat and chat with friends," Kanaya answered calmly after kissing the back of Nayra's mother's hand and then sitting next to her mother.
"Kanaya.. You are a wife now. You can no longer do as you please like before. Remember Kanaya. Your heaven is in your husband after you get married. If you want to go without your husband, don't forget to ask your husband's permission first. Your husband's blessing is very important to you, Kanaya..." Mama Nayra tried to gently advise Kanaya so that Kanaya wouldn't get angry.
"Kanaya already asked permission from Pak Daren before going out with friends, how come ma. Isn't that right, Mr. Daren?" Kanaya rolled her eyes at Pak Daren so that Pak Daren would follow what he was saying.
"Yes mom. Kanaya already had permission from Daren earlier on campus," replied Mr. Daren trying to follow Kanaya's request.
Mama Nayra was stunned when Kanaya called her husband Pak Daren. Not mas or other nicknames for a husband and wife in general. A harsh sigh escaped Nayra's lips. His eldest son with Devan has not changed at all. I don't know.. Mama Nayra seemed to have run out of ways so that Kanaya could change for the better.
The Maghrib call to prayer reverberated, stopping the conversation between the mother and child. They were getting ready to carry out the maghrib prayer in congregation at Daren and Kanaya's house. Not long after, they performed the maghrib prayer together with the workers at Daren and Kanaya's house. Before marrying Kanaya, Pak Daren always made it a habit to pray together with the workers at home. Mr. Daren's attitude is warm at home so that the workers at Mr. Daren's house feel comfortable and never think about looking for another job out there.

"Where are you from, Kanaya?"
Pak Daren's loud baritone voice stopped Kanaya's footsteps from going up the stairs to the room. Kanaya froze in place without turning to Mr. Daren. Firm footsteps were heard walking towards Kanaya who was still standing at the end of the stairs.
"Where are you from, Kanaya?" Mr. Daren repeated the question that Kanaya had not answered.
Kanaya turned around to face Mr. Daren with a hardened face, "Kanaya has been hanging out and racing motorbikes. Why Mr Daren? Mr. Daren wants to punish Kanaya? Or Mr. Daren regrets marrying Kanaya?" Kanaya answered with her eyes darting towards Mr. Daren.
"Tonight you sleep with me, Kanaya!" continued Mr. Daren.
Kanaya hissed, "I am Pak Daren's wife now. But that doesn't mean Pak Daren can manage my life. I don't want to sleep in the same room as Pak Daren. This marriage, Pak Daren, didn't want it? Not me. Mr. Daren must remember that," said Kanaya and then went up the stairs, leaving Mr. Daren who was still stunned where he was currently standing.
"Kanaya!"
