Chapter 103 - Sacrifice wasted

The silver-haired minister held his silver sword and began chanting something, somewhat similar to Sir Eric's chanting, but the words were completely different.

The chant went like this: "Oh, my sword god, lend me strength so I can vanquish the evil souls of this world. I offer my life energy in exchange for strength, so please, lend me your power," and so on.

As he chanted, his silver sword started radiating a powerful silver aura, clearly visible to the naked eye. he was burning his life energy.

The combat power of the silver-haired minister increased significantly, and a Silver shadow warrior could be seen behind him, also wielding a sword.

When the first phase of the chant was complete, the Silver shadow warrior started moving and swung his sword toward Juliet with astonishing speed, especially considering the size of the shadow warrior, which was almost two stories tall.

Juliet was not resting either, she also chanted something at the same time when the silver-haired minister was chanting. Behind her, a purple lady shadow appeared, wielding a whip. The purple lady shadow was also two stories tall, and her whip emitted a creepy aura that sent shivers down one's spine.

Juliet's purple lady shadow moved at the same time as the shadow warrior of the silver-haired minister moved.

As the colossal shadow warrior and the imposing purple lady shadow clashed in a fierce battle, the air crackled with energy. Their titanic forms moved with incredible speed, creating shockwaves that echoed through the surroundings.

Juliet, determined and focused, skillfully wielded her whip, matching the shadow warrior's sword strikes with agile and calculated movements. The purple lady's shadow, an extension of Juliet's newfound strength, seemed to dance with an otherworldly grace, its whip lashing out with precision.

On the other side, the silver-haired minister maintained his chant, his eyes fixed on the unfolding spectacle. The silver aura surrounding his sword intensified, pulsating with each word of the incantation. The warrior shadow, under the minister's command, continued its relentless assault on Juliet.

The battleground became a canvas of ethereal lights and shadows, drawing the attention of those who happened to be nearby. The clash between these supernatural entities was a spectacle that transcended the boundaries of the ordinary world.

Amidst the chaos, Juliet's determination grew stronger. She also started chanting again with unwavering resolve, channeling the power of the purple lady shadow. The whip in her hand crackled with energy, and with a swift motion, she managed to entangle the shadow warrior's sword, momentarily halting its assault.

Seizing the opportunity, the silver-haired minister intensified his chant even further. The silver aura around his sword reached its peak, and with a commanding voice, he shouted, "Sword god, grant me the strength to banish this evil!"

As the silver minister's final incantation reached its zenith, the silver aura around his sword exploded into a blinding burst of light. The shadow warrior, momentarily gaining strength, freed his sword from the whip and swung his sword with full power.

Juliet didn't take this attack lightly, and the burning speed of her life energy accelerated. As a result, the strength of the purple lady shadow increased, and she swung her whip. The whip lashed out with renewed ferocity, striking the shadow warrior at its weakened points.

However, the silver warrior shadow didn't retreat at all and went forward, striking the purple lady shadow with his sword, cutting it in two halves. Juliet spurted blood and fell from the sky. A few seconds later, the shadow warrior started to crack and completely shattered within five seconds. After that, the silver-haired minister also spurted blood and fell from the sky.

When they both fell from the sky, they created a crater where they fell. The silver-haired minister looked at Juliet, who fell not too far from him, only 30 feet apart, and said, "I told you I would kill you, haven't I?"

In response, Juliet said with a smile, "I told you you are no longer my opponent, haven't I?"

The silver-haired minister laughed a little at her and then said, "Although I am dying, look at you. Your body also started to scatter just like mine. This means you both will die in a few moments."

Juliet replied with an even more beautiful smile, "Not us, just you."

When she said that, a green liquid started to flow in her body, and her scattered body began to heal. The silver-haired minister looked at her and said with a surprised expression, "No wonder you said before that I am not an opponent of yours anymore."

When he said that much, his body scattered, and he died. As he died, there was only one thing on his mind, and that was regret—regret for not being able to kill his opponent and not being able to provide enough help to his kingdom.
