After a few hours, Asura was panting heavily. Fighting with three puppets of himself was crazy; his strength had depleted to 50%, and according to his calculations, he could only support himself for half a day more. After that, he would either die from exhaustion or be killed by the puppets.
Again after a few hours despite being in a completely disadvantaged position due to exhaustion, Asura managed to kill one of the three puppets using the same trick he had used when he was fighting with two puppets.
But Asura was far from happy, he now had only 30% of his original strength, which was not enough to deal with the remaining two puppets.
Almost a day had passed since he started to fight with the three puppets of himself. Asura now had bruises all over his body and a deep injury on his chest. This injury had been caused by one of the puppets that had used the "Heaven-Breaking Fist," and Asura couldn't dodge or counter it in time.
After a few more hours of intense battle, Asura found himself on the brink of collapse. His body was battered and bruised, and his energy was nearly depleted. The two remaining puppets continued their relentless assault, pushing him to his limits.
Asura thought to himself, "I can't give up now. I've come too far to back down." With a burst of determination, he tried to muster every ounce of strength he had left. He knew that if he didn't tap into his hidden strength soon, he would meet his end in this pseudo-life-and-death match.
The two puppets pressed their advantage, attacking from all sides. Asura was barely able to defend himself, his movements growing sluggish with each passing moment. His vision blurred, and his body screamed in pain.
The two puppets unleashed the "Heaven-Breaking Fist," and Asura was sent flying, knocked off a few hundred meters. Now, there were three major injuries on his body, including the previous one.
Asura found himself on the brink of exhaustion, with no energy left to continue the battle. All he could do was watch as two figures approached him, and he could see that they were gathering spiritual energy, a clear indication that his end was imminent.
Asura's thoughts raced, "Am I going to die like this? Not even in a fight with my enemy?"
In a desperate attempt to survive, Asura focused on the depths of his being, searching for that hidden reserve of power he knew must exist within him. He recalled the words of Princess Moon, who had told him that this was a battle with himself, a battle to awaken his hidden strength.
With every ounce of willpower he could muster, Asura shouted, "Awaken! Hidden strength!" His voice echoed through the pseudo-life-and-death stage, carrying his determination and desperation.
In that moment, something incredible happened. Asura felt a surge of energy unlike anything he had ever experienced before. It coursed through his veins, revitalizing his weary body. His wounds began to heal, and his fatigue melted away.
A black aura surrounded Asura, its malevolent presence giving off a bone-chilling sensation to anyone who laid eyes on it. Unfortunately, unlike the previous time, there was no one present who could feel this eerie chill, except for those two puppets who didn't have any emotion, and the only words they said till now were the name of the Asura's Battle skill attack and the spiritual skill attack.
Asura's hidden strength had been awakened, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. He felt like a completely different person, a warrior with power beyond his wildest dreams.
The two puppets attacking him were stopped by this sudden change. Asura's eyes blazed with newfound power, and his movements became lightning-fast. With a series of precise strikes and powerful techniques, he overwhelmed the puppets that had once pushed him to the brink of defeat.
Then Asura said, "Let's end this," and after saying that, he started to gather his spiritual energy, which replenished when his hidden strength triggered.
The two puppets also began to gather their own spiritual energy. Asura and the two puppets released their spiritual attacks simultaneously, shouting, "Total annihilation!" However, this time, an unexpected event occurred. The clash of the spiritual attacks didn't amplify due to their similar nature, but Asura's "Total Annihilation" swallowed the puppets' spiritual attack, along with the puppets themselves, leaving nothing behind.
As the last two puppets disintegrated, Asura stood victorious, bathed in a radiant aura of power. He couldn't believe what had just happened. The pseudo-life-and-death match had pushed him to the edge, but in that moment of crisis, he had tapped into his hidden strength and emerged stronger than ever.
Even before Asura could celebrate his victory, a brilliant light enveloped him, and a brightness filled his eyes. When the brilliance faded, he found himself back at the place from which he had entered the pseudo-life-and-death match.
Su Lin, Princess Moon, and Kallu were present in that place and he could see they were really worried about him during the time he was in his pseudo-life and death match.
Su Lin couldn't contain her emotions and threw her arms around Asura, tears of relief streaming down her cheeks. "You did it, Asura! You're amazing!" she exclaimed.
Asura was taken aback by Su Lin's actions. He didn't understand why Su Lin had become so emotional. Princess Moon smiled as she witnessed this scene and thought to herself, "You have taken the first step, Su Lin." She felt genuinely happy for Su Lin. As for Kallu, he didn't know what to say in this scenario.
Suddenly, Su Lin let go of Asura, her face flushing with embarrassment. She bowed her head, afraid to make eye contact with anyone.
Finally, Kallu grinned and slapped Asura on the back. "I knew you had it in you, buddy. That was some next-level stuff!"
Princess Moon nodded with a proud smile. "You've proven your strength and determination, Asura. I knew you were capable of it."
