There was an ethereal and lonely voice in the temple, with no emotion, just like time itself. "Come in!" Yesel stepped into the hall in fear. He felt his body trembling, within the presence's of such powerful mythical being and the pressure of his own power source.
He looked at the brown-haired girl with green pupils in horror and realized that she was paying him no attention at all. Her green eyes were fixed on the sky outside the temple, as if a powerful shrimp in the sea would not notice the trilobite beneath its feet.
He looked in awe at the gods on the platform and then lowered his head with a glance, as the light was too dazzling to look at directly.
"Ledley."
"Is this also your son?" Beneath the divine platform, Rico could feel his pride and joy.
"Yes, God." "He has inherited my bloodline and it's power, and has been blessed to see God and receive your wisdom."
"Great God! Ledley has finally found a heir!"
"He will undoubtedly inherit my strength and lead the divine city towards a brighter and greater future."
"I will also impart my will to serve the gods." Yesel had seen the might of his father and the crazed reverence of all his people has toward him. Everyone was extolling the greatness of the King of Wisdom. Now he had witnessed the humility of his father before God. At the feet of God.
Rico look at Yesel and could sense the difference in this young child. Unlike Ledley and Sally, he was not a myth born directly because of him, but a mythical life that was born through bloodline.
"What is your name?" God asked him.
Yesel remained silent for a while, until he realized that God was asking him a question. He panicked and answered with a blank mind, not even knowing what he was saying. "Yesel!" "Mighty God, God of Light." "My name is Yesel, son of King Ledley, the wise ruler."
God beckoned him to come forward and pointed his finger to his forehead. "It turns out that the power of mythology can be passed down." "But!" "Why is this so?" The moment Rico touched him, every image from Yesel birth, growth, and transformation rushed into his consciousness, and he instantly knew everything about him.
At the beginning of his life, he was just an egg. But this egg was different from the other trilobites. It contained genetic power and had the great power of mythology that surpassed the mortal world, known as Ledley power, his bloodline. Rico saw him slowly growing in the water, until it hatched from the underwater city. From that moment on, he possessed a power completely different from ordinary life. Then, watching Yesel grow little by little, he finally walked out of the underwater city along the giant well and came to the sun to receive the infusion of wisdom and knowledge by his father. Yesel did not have the power of controlling all three leaf people like Ledley, the king of origin, nor could he pass on his knowledge, but he possessed Ledley power of mind-reading, which allowed him to see what others were thinking.
Yesel inherited only the weakest part of Ledley strength, but it is still a powerful force known as the power of myth.
Rico discovered an abnormality in the birth of Yesel that confirmed his suspicions about the origins of the power of mythology. It's an elusive force that exists in the cracks between time and space as an observable substance known as mythical matter. This power is hidden in the body of mythic and can be replicated or inherited.
Rico finally understood why Ledley and Sally could see him while other could not. Their strength comes from cells that have been leached and mutated by radiation that came from being in Rico's presence for extended period of time.
Knowing that this power is hidden in the blood, Rico naturally has a way to extract and make use of it. He withdrew his finger and fell into meditation while Yesel woke up from his trance.
"Wow~," he gasped. Yesel felt like he was looking directly at the concept of time itself, as if the god had pointed his finger on his forehead, showing him stars constantly exploding and destroying, years turning backwards, and the horror of being imprisoned by time.
He felt an indescribable silence and despair, and the fear went deep into his bone marrow, which made him unable to look back. Rico glanced at Yesel and said, "His strength is too weak to stay in the temple all the time."
Ledley asked Yesel to stand outside the temple and wait for him. Yesel was relieved, as his mythical power was not as strong as his father's, and the mythical fusion monster power has already oppressed him.
Rico looked at Ledley and asked him, "Why are you in such a hurry to find an heir for yourself?"
Ledley raised his hand, and the shiny bone armor began to become rough in some parts, like a rock. For the three leaf people, this is a sign of old age. Although he is still strong, he is not immortal after all, and he can feel himself slipping from the peak of life to a turning point.
"God, I will grow old and eventually disappear. There are some things I can do, but there are some things I can't do, which can only be left to the next generation."
Rico suddenly understood that the three leaf people had grown up for generations in just a flash of time, and life was so fragile in front of the river of time.
"I'm going to let Yesel inherit the position of King in the future and let him continue my dreams."
Rico looked at Ledley and didn't say anything for a long time.
Finally he open his mouth.
"It's up to you!"
