Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Transmigration

Seoul city looks so beautiful at night.

Brightly lit skyscrapers, vehicles zooming on highways and pedestrians on the sidewalk.

If not for the dungeon, hunter and all that entailed, I would have thought I transmigrated into another normal world.

That's right, transmigration.

It sure is confusing waking up in another body and having a second memory.

Until that confusion became fear.

Knowing that now and then monsters would break out into the streets like kids on Halloween, out for your life instead of candy.

That picture makes one fear for one's own safety and survival.

Then the memory of Hunters showed up, and with it came the excitement.

Imagine, a human being wielding power considered as myth; bending steel with their hand, body impervious to bullets, summoning in fire that covers the sky extra. There is a whole bucket of them out there.

A bunch of demigods calling themselves human, living in a peaceful society and walking on the street like it is just another Thursday.

And it excites me like no other.

To think that they exist, and to have possibility-no matter how small- to have that kind of force.

It trumps above the confusion and fear that I had earlier.

At that moment, in my heart, I knew this; I will stop at nothing to achieve that peak strength, by any means, by whatever sacrifice I will get it.

"Finally, this run looking to be more interesting than the last one."

~Breaking line~

After reviewing my newfound memory, and a wave of information gathering.

I finally confirm that this is the 'solo leveling' word.

A gentle apocalypse world.

We're monsters could not wait to break out of the dungeon to eat people.

Only to be beaten back by the hunters.

Hunters enter the dungeon, kill monsters and harvest mana stones.

Making money and saving society, best of Both Worlds.

At least, that's what is seems to be on the surface.

However, there is always an undercurrent under the calm surface.

Unknown to the human race, two groups of high level being with an incalculable degree of power are gearing up for war.

And they have chosen Earth as the ultimate battlefield.

War so devastating…

They have to use thousands of tonnes of Mana, Crystal. Just reinforce the playing field.

Nevertheless, whichever side wins. Humanity's fate is not very promising.

That is the world I found myself in.

In the body of one Park Daewung,23 years old.

C-rank Hunter.

Specializing in male combat. Swordsman, to be exact.

With enhanced strength & speed.

Charismatic young man with a dream to create his own Guild Someday.

He has gathered a few people to organize a group of Dungeon Hunter

After a couple of months of dungeon run, they have built up a nice teamwork.

He led a party of four hunters, comprising things of a tank, a mage, an assassin, and a healer.

In the last dungeon trip, he took an attack for his teammate.

Subsequently sustained a fatal injury, his life hanging on a thread.

In desperation, the healer used heal on him trying to bring him back among the living.

Then a miracle happened, his condition stabilized.

a soul did come back, thou that soul is me.

" Daewung dinner is ready. let's eat!" A sweet voice abruptly bringing me out of my inner monologue.

"Alright, let's eat" I replayed, turning around from the apartment window.

"You zoned out again. Is everything ok?" she asks, seeming worry.

She often caught me in a trance since the accident.

"No, I am fine. I am just sorting out some stuff in my mind. So, what's on the menu tonight?" I said, steering the topic elsewhere.

I hugged her waist, and we headed to the dinner table.

This beauty is Bo jin, a 22-year-old junior lawyer in a middle level law agency.

She is wearing red framed glasses, and has a beauty mark under her left eye.

With brown hair, generous breast, and peachy ass.

She is the Daewang's girlfriend.

Well. . . mine now
