Chapter 1 - I: Prophecy of Yaegrafane.

For many years, the people of Yaegrafane had waited for the arrival of the chosen one, the man foretold by the prophecy of the Scrolls of Yaegrafane, who would unite the warring kingdoms and factions and defeat the scourge of the desert.

As the years went by, many claimed to be the chosen one, each promising to bring an end to the endless cycle of war and bloodshed. But time and time again, these self-proclaimed saviors failed, their armies destroyed, and their bodies left to rot in the hellish deserts of Agnouin.

The people of Yaegrafane had grown tired of false prophets and charlatans, each promising salvation but only bringing death and destruction.

But still, hope remained. For there were some who believed that the chosen one would come, that he would appear from beyond the great desert that surrounded Yaegrafane and bring an end to their suffering.

And then one day, a man appeared on the outskirts of the city of New Caland. He was tall and broad-shouldered, with a thick beard and piercing blue eyes. His name was Rorik, and he claimed to be from a distant land, beyond the great desert.

At first, the people of Adramar were skeptical of Rorik's claims. They had heard them all before, from countless other self-proclaimed saviors who had promised to bring an end to the war and suffering, only to fail miserably.

But Rorik was different. He did not come with a grand army or promises of wealth and power. He came alone, with nothing but his sword and his wits.

As he traveled across Yaegrafane, Rorik encountered many who claimed to be the chosen one. They were all too eager to prove their worth, to show Rorik that they were the one foretold by the prophecy.

But Rorik was wise to their tricks. He saw through their lies and false promises, and he refused to follow them down the path of destruction.

Instead, Rorik chose a different path. He spoke to the people of Yaegrafane, telling them that salvation could only come from within. He urged them to lay down their weapons, to come together as one people, and to fight for a better future.

Slowly but surely, Rorik's words began to resonate with the people of Yaegrafane. They saw the wisdom in his words, and they began to follow him, not as a savior or a messiah, but as a leader who could guide them to a better future.

And so, under Rorik's leadership, the people of Yaegrafane began to come together, putting aside their differences and working towards a common goal.

It was not an easy path, for there were still those who clung to the old ways, who refused to see the truth that Rorik spoke. But Rorik persevered, knowing that the future of Yaegrafane depended on the unity and cooperation of its people.

And so, despite the many challenges that lay ahead, Rorik continued to lead the people of Yaegrafane towards a brighter future, where the threat of the scourge of the desert would be vanquished, and the prophecy of the Scrolls of Yaegrafane would finally be fulfilled.

However, Rorik's army never returned the territories of Xalatia, everyone thought that the Aerithians destroyed them, and once again the people of Yaegrafane lose hope once again.
