The Dragon Council took James and Lily under their wing, quite literally. They spent the next few weeks teaching them how to refine their skills as dragons.
Their first lesson was about the technical aspects of flying. The Dragon Council showed them how to use their wings to take off, how to glide, and how to land. James and Lily were amazed at how effortless the dragons made it look, but they knew that they still had much to learn.
Their next lesson was how to hunt. The Dragon Council took them to a nearby forest and showed them how to track prey. They taught them how to use their heightened senses to sniff out prey, and how to move silently through the underbrush.
James and Lily were hesitant to kill another animal, but they knew that it was necessary for their survival. The Dragon Council assured them that it was natural for dragons to hunt, and that they needed to eat in order to grow and thrive.
With the guidance of the Dragon Council, James and Lily successfully caught their first prey. They were amazed at how strong and agile they were as dragons, and they felt a sense of power that they had never felt before.
As they flew back to the valley with their catch, James and Lily knew that they had much to learn, but they were excited for the journey ahead. They had already learned how to fly on their own, but under the guidance of the Dragon Council, they were refining their skills and learning more about what it truly meant to be a dragon.
