Kiyoshi winced in pain as he stumbled back towards the MAHA base. Yuna rushed to support him, concern etched on her face. "We have to get you to the infirmary," she said, guiding him towards the medical bay.
As they entered the room, they were greeted by the worried faces of their fellow MAHA members. Hyosuke, the mercenary, stepped forward. "What happened?" he asked, his eyes scanning Kiyoshi's injuries.
"We were investigating the Black Sun Exogenisis foundation," Kiyoshi explained, gritting his teeth as the doctor tended to his wounds. "But they set off some kind of device, and we were caught in the blast."
Yuna added, "We also found out that the parasite is the cause of the necrotic plague, and that the foundation has technology to control it."
The room fell silent as the gravity of the situation sank in. Kiyoshi knew that they had to act fast if they were going to stop the foundation from using the parasite for their own gain.
"We have to find a way to destroy their technology," Kiyoshi said, his eyes glinting with determination.
Tekuru, the leader of MAHA, nodded. "We'll do everything we can to help," he said. "But we need to be careful. The foundation is powerful, and they won't hesitate to use any means necessary to stop us."
Karin, one of the infected who managed to control herself, spoke up. "We have to be strategic about this," she said. "We can't just charge in blindly. We need a plan."
Kiyoshi and Yuna exchanged a knowing look. They had a long road ahead of them, but they were ready to face it together. "Let's get to work," Kiyoshi said, his voice filled with determination. "We're not going to let them win."
