The table went on completely silent for some minutes as everyone pondered on what Liam had said. Dax was fuming with anger as he was at the tip of exploding. "But there's nothing wrong with Elsa living with us!" Maisha started.
They knew Elsa needed a family to be close to, ever since their return, the girl has been so happy. Jesse has been happy, seperating them now just doesn't make any sense at all. "This is so ridiculous, why Liam? She's human and she has a right to make her own decisions too!" Dax tried to make his words as polite as possible.
"That reminds me, Elsa I'm no longer your legal guardian!" Liam ignored their words completely. Elsa stared at him in disbelief, she could no longer understand his words. Every one in the family were astonished by his actions, just what is wrong with him? "What's going on son are you alright?" Donovan asked perturbed, maybe he was drunk. He thought.
"There's no need to be scared about the city, it's fine now. There wouldn't be a need of you all moving out!" Liam said stoically. They were all confused. One, his face gave them no clue on what he was talking about.
"Don't pack any stuff out of the house, your school bag and stuffs are in the car, tell me when you're done saying a good bye so we can leave!" Liam said In a barely audible voice, just enough for only Elsa to hear.
Her heart skipped at his words, she had thought maybe he was joking. Wait he was serious, they were really moving out. But she loves this house so much. This place is like a second home to her after Liam.
Elsa really didn't care about moving out much, she only cared about the people she'd miss alot. She would miss her best friend, which if Liam travels as usual she could always come back to be with Jesse. All she wanted was to be close to the man sitted next to her. To her they're like two different souls that found peace at each other's embrace.
She glanced at Jesse who's face was sad, but they knew once Liam makes a decision there was no turning back. Maisha was just hurt cause she considers Elsa as a daughter and she was now used to staying close to her.
Breakfast was finally over and the family stood before the couple who were set to leave. Liam analyzed everything before making a decision, since he was not one to always be around, he knew the mansion was no longer safe for his wife especially with Dax that has an eye for Elsa.
She might see the man as her cousin, but Dax saw her as something more, and he can't take any chances. He let his little wife say her good bye to each and every member of the family except Dax who was too upset to see her leave. "I'll miss you El!" Jesse said as she hugged her best friend. "I'll miss you too!" Elsa hugged her back. She went ahead and hugged Maisha before getting into the car with Liam.
They drove out of the yard and then out of the estate and got on the high way. Elsa darted her gaze out the window to get a view of the city, her thoughts were filled with the new house they were headed. She wondered what this new experience held for her.
From the day she knew Liam was her husband she knew they were bound forever. she stared at his reflection from the glass. The handsome man sitted next to her was buried in his phone as he kept typing. "Elsa!" She heard him call and she jolted a little with fear, she was scared Liam must have caught her staring at him.
"Come here!" He said and she got closer to him leaving a little gap between them. Liam smiled. Even if his little wife likes him as she confessed unwillingly, she still has a her dignity as a woman. He respected that and didn't want to scare her further.
