A private jet landed at the jet terminal in the early hours of the morning. A Black Prado was already parked there waiting for his arrival, and when she saw the beast himself coming out of the jet she smiled. Lydia walked out of the car to give him a surprise, they've dated once in the past but she could not tame him.
He was more dangerous than she thought and he slipped right out of her hands. This time she's come up with a better way to tame this beast and keep him all to herself. "Mr Black!" She got to him a broad smile got across her lips.
Liam's gaze fell on her, his black eyes looked into those gray eyes, one thing he admired about this woman was her strength, she grew against all the odds that said women could do nothing cause they're the weaker vessels. She's dealt with men, she's a force not to be reckoned with.
"Lydia!" He called and she smiled more. She loved the way he called her name, even if it was the normal nway he talked. Liam was not surprised at how she knew about his arrival, she owns this city so she's meant to know. "Welcome to my city!" "Don't tell me you came out here just to welcome me!" He said his face as expressionless as ever.
He's never been kind to anyone except the one person present in his life, the one he wants to protect at all cost. "Yes, and I also have a business proposal for you!" She said. Liam raised a brow, "what is it?" He asked plainly. "Don't you think we should bsit this one out and talk about it?" She asked.
Lydia noticed he was not with any guards as usual, but rather a small man wearing glasses, Alan pushed his glasses above his nose to adjust it a little. "I have an important job to do in the next 15mins!" Immediately a Black van drove into the jet terminal, Liam wore his black gloves immediately.
"You have sixty seconds to speak!" He said firmly. "What? No... I.. I can't possibly say anything in sixty seconds!" She glared at him, "you can't treat me like a nonetity Liam don't forget this is my city!" She said. But Liam walked away after sixty seconds and Alan followed behind, like a scared chicken. They got into the car and the driver drove off.
"What should we do with her sir?" Alan asked his boss. "Forget about her, how many minutes do we have left before the meeting?" "I think thirteen minutes sir!" Alan replied and Liam said nothing else.
★★★★★★★★Next Day★★★★★★★★
Sitted on a black swevel chair held a man of power, his black eyes were shot. He was in deep meditation, his hand resting at the armrest of the chair held his favorite liquid and the twirled it around. The second hand did same but it held a weapon instead and he twirled that around too.
The door to his office clicked open and a man walked in. "What do you want Alan?" Liam spoke his eyes still closed. "I just got an information that Rafael is sitted close to Madam in an ice cream shop!" The shut eyes slid open, and his gaze fell on his assistant. "Call Tim and Rafael now!" He commanded unhurriedly dropping the weapon on the table and taking a sip of the liquid.
Alan wondered what his boss wanted to do to right now and why he has not ordered for the head of Rafael. This two men are sworn enemies and each would find the slightest opportunity to kill the other. Rafael going close to his wife was enough reason for this man to kill him but why has he refused to kill him? Alan thought.
He picked his phone and called Tim, the call went through and Alan gave to phone to Liam, "Talk to him yourself!" Liam said nonchalantly and Alan nodded. "Tim how's the situation there!" Alan asked. "Rafael, knows she's boss's wife, he's there with Lydia's cousin, Elena Salvador!" Tim said from the other end and Alan reported the information to his boss.
"Call Rafael!" He ordered and Alan did as told, he gave the phone to his boss when the call went through. Liam talked and threatened Rafael as he wanted to before hanging up, leaving the rest of the job to Alan.
