She got back into the kitchen, but this time Liam was not there anymore, she darted her gaze around but still could not find him anywhere. Elsa opened the fridge, brought out the orange juice and got back to the dinning room. It wasn't hard to set up a table since they were only three, plus, the table was a four sitter table.
Elsa and Jesse admired what they just did with pride, they arranged the table properly, just like the maids back at the mansion arranges their table. Liam walked out of the kitchen with two trays of beef, one seasoned and another not seasoned.
"Jess, get the sliced vegetables on the counter!" He said. "Okay!" Was Jesse's reply as she rambled into the kitchen. She dropped the tray of vegetables on the table and they started eating. Elsa couldn't get her eyes off Liam, she watched him eat the non seasoned meat like it was nothing. She still couldn't believe he was allergic to spice.
On the other hand Jesse ate alot not minding anything. The meat was actually tasty and she enjoyed every bit of it.
As usual Carlos and Alan arrived mid way to their food to keep their boss updated about the activities of the day. "Good afternoon boss!" They sang together. "Madam, miss Jesse!" Jesse and Elsa nodded an answer since they were chewing. Liam left with the two men to the lounge. "Did you find out anything from him!" Liam asked sitting on the couch. "No boss, I think he's not ready to spill!" Carlos said as he and his boyfriend sat on the couch too.
"This new method we're using is not working on him sir. I would suggest we go back to our old method!" Alan suggested. "You're just used to turturing people Alan. Sometimes, it's good to have fun with your prey. Make them seem like they're stronger before silencing them.!" said Liam. "Like I said before there's no way, he can escape that bomb blast alive. Something's not right, cause it was stated that Lou's body went missing!" Liam added.
It was so annoying that Liam wanted to do things the normal way people do, by hiring investigators to find out the truth. He said he was now bored of tackling issue the way he used to, which was surprising to his faithful workers cause they know their boss is never this patient. Unless he has other plans.
"There's a party next week that you have to attend to sir!" Carlos chipped in. "What party?" Asked Liam. "The Anakin's party. Ethan's only sister is getting married next week to the Justin Chun. And not to forget he's they're your in-laws!" Carlos tried to convince his boss. "I'll think about that!" Said Liam briefly but Carlos was not yet convinced with his reply, he wanted Liam to attend the party.
He knew Liam was not eager to get business deals cause he would be meeting prominent business men around the world. But he's the one people need to make deals with. That's one of the reasons he doesn't attend random parties. "Sir let's not forget, Tyler would be there, you know he owes you a large sum of money!" Carlos suggested. "You still haven't stated the reason you want me to attend that party Carlos!" Liam said unhurriedly.
Carlos hesitated a little before speaking, "That's because, Ethan wanted you there, he said he has a good surprise for you!" Carlos said. "I'd go then, let's see what my old buddy has for me!" He said firmly.
"You also have a special invitation to the Benzoyl's party this weekend!" Alan said this time. "Send the invitation back to them, I'm not attending that party. Carlos how's my father in-law doing now?" Liam changed the conversation quickly.
He and Antonio had alot to do together, he would have done things his own way and deal with this people but Antonio wanted him to do things the right way. He still didn't know why this man had a good heart and still succeeded in the business world.
