"What did he do to her?" Liam asked as his eyes stared at the girl on the bed. "He did nothing Liam, good thing I was there in time," Greg responded cleaning his hair with a second towel as he stepped further into the room. "And if you weren't?" Liam asked finally meeting the man's gaze.
Now Greg thought of it, he was somewhat happy he did nothing to the girl, Liam's reaction gave off everything he would have done to him even if they'd been friends since he could remember. "Then he'd have slept with her." "Exactly." At his words, he left the room. Greg let out a sigh staring at the girl in the bed, "You just have to be a troublesome woman." Somehow in him, he felt like this was only the beginning of her disturbance.
He sat on his sofa and lay still there.

The next day came by and Preya was ready to go back home. She stared at the boy still asleep on the bed with her, he was bare just like her and she smiled. She's had one of the craziest nights of her life, she placed her hands on her warm cheek at the thought of what happened the previous night. But she had to leave, she couldn't wait for him to wake up, her friends might be worried sick about her. Maybe they might meet again who knows, maybe they're destined to be.
Preya dragged herself off her bed admits the broken bottles shattered on the floor. The entire room had been torn apart by them, his clothes were littered on the floor, and so was hers. The empty bottle of the shisha they smoked together was thrown at a corner. Particles of the cocaine power were just around the table, she couldn't believe the mess they created together. She passed her hands through her hair, staring blank at them.
She has now had a little glimpse of what hard drugs tasted like after two large clouds of smoke shisha. They were both high and did strange things, but in all, she enjoyed herself. However, she decided not to take those drugs or even shisha anymore.
She strode into his closet and took a shirt along with his slippers and shorts cause all of her clothes were torn into pieces including her undies. Grabbing her bag and phone, Preya stepped out of his room. "Good morning miss." A plus-sized old lady greeted her which had her halt her steps as she stared at her. From the woman's appearance, she could tell she was a maid, probably the head maid of this apartment.
Preya parted her lips to speak but before she could utter another word, "You must be a new girl young master brought home, I hope to see you soon again." The woman said with a comforting smile. What did she mean by a new girl? Where there other girls before her? She knew the obvious answer to her question, cole looked like a f**k boy, so, normally, he brings girls home every night.
Preya parted her like to speak again but... "I prepared breakfast, would you love some? While eating I'll ask the chauffeur to take you back home." She interrupted sweetly.
"No, I'm fine, I'd find my way out. Thanks for the offer though." Preya said stepping down the stairs as her shoes clicked on the floor. The eyes of the maids on her gave her an odd feeling and she just wanted to yell at them to stop gazing but she just couldn't. What did she expect? To be treated like his girlfriend? She knew then that she was just another hookup bitch, once again she's tarnished her reputation before more people cause of her fragile heart.
She was quick to believe anything someone tells her cause she was an inexperienced 18years old just learning about the life of rich people. She had to find her way out of this long large estate. Preya was on the verge of crying, her heart felt broken. She thought she had found her prince charming, but it turns out he's another user. He used her just like he's used lots of girls.
She just wanted to find someone, especially being close to Jesse and Elsa who always talk about what love feels like. She talks about her experience with her husband, one who is willing to do anything for her. Preya just so desperately wanted to find someone like that, if a man like Liam could exist, then there was hope that more existed. All she had to do was find him.
Walking down the road, she wondered why everyone stared at her weirdly. Yes, she knew she was a mess, but that didn't give them the right to stare at her that way. She boarded a car and headed home, all she wanted to do was lay on her bed and cry herself to sleep.
.
Liam stepped back into the hotel quietly just like he did at night. He was pleased with teaching Langford some lessons and didn't listen to his plea till he was done beating the man to his satisfaction. He felt alive again, he felt like himself. He poured out the anger that already accumulated in him over the weeks on that man's face. Langford deserved even more than that, he deserved all the beating in the world.
Liam stepped back into the room to see Greg settled on the couch and just peering in a direction lost in his thought. And Liam wondered what must be wrong with him, as the first child and son of his father he had lots of responsibilities. And even if he was a professional doctor, one of the best in his field, that work cannot give him the life of luxury he once had. Rather a simple life.
His lazy eyes left the man and searched for his sister who just stepped out of the bathroom in her old clothes. On noticing his presence, she bent her head in embarrassment surprised at seeing her brother present in the room.
She was yet to recover from the embarrassment she got with Greg when she woke up. She couldn't understand why she always left bad remarks whenever she meets new guys, first it was her ex Ethan and now Greg. It's not like she liked him, but...
"Are you done?" She nodded at his words unable to meet his gaze, she has been unable to meet anyone's gaze since she woke up. "I don't want to come back here anymore, I cannot squeeze my tight schedule to save you and my wife from your acts." He started. Was he scolding her? Liam was acting like an elder brother for the first time since she knew him. Jesse felt like crying, tears filled her eyes no matter how hard she tried keeping them in.
She didn't know if to let them all out or just keep them in. She did not want him to get the wrong idea when she finally let it out, she was not crying cause he was scolding her, but the fact that she now knew he cared about her. He notices her existence. Jesse felt warm in her heart, she knew Liam loved her, she was just confused cause he never showed it.
If only he knew how long she's longed for this feeling, how long she's longed for his love. Yes, Dax loved her more than anything so did her parents, but all she wanted was for Liam to love her. She cleaned her tears quickly still staring at her feet, she didn't know how long she could hold it back in, but she could already hear herself sobbing silently.
"Raise your face when I'm talking to you." He commanded and she met his gaze. Only then did heavy tears stream down her eyes, Jesse couldn't hold it back in anymore. It felt like her heart was ready to pour out the pain from 15 years back when she found out she had a brother who wasn't aware of her existence.
"Let's go, your tears wouldn't replace what has been damaged." He said pulling out his suit as he placed it around her body. Her dress was a bit exposed and he didn't like it. Liam wasn't willing to let the mistake from her former marriage happen again. Yes, she would decide who she wants to get married to, but that man would be one that will never treat her wrongly.
Anyone willing to be with his sister would be ready to treat her right. Should be willing to condone her wild attitude. He left the hotel with her after his words, and neither of them said a thing to each other on their way back home. Jesse just stared out the window while Liam concentrated on his phone.
They arrived before the apartment and Jesse stepped out of the car, waving her brother goodbye as she watched him leave. At the same time, Elsa stepped out of their apartment only to see Jesse and a car leaving behind her. "Jesse, who brought you back?" She asked curiously.
"Brother Liam," Jesse said to see the smile on her friend's lips fall...
