"How did you get pregnant? Who's responsible for this atrocity?" Maisha screamed above her voice, she was furious. Aside from Hazel being a maid, she was like a daughter to her. The last thing she wanted is people destroying this young girl's future just because they could not keep their d**k to themselves.
"I... I." "Speak Hazel, don't be afraid of anyone they cannot hurt you." Maisha coaxed her further, she wanted to know the truth, she couldn't believe something like this would happen in her very mansion without her knowledge. Hazel had no idea how Maisha found out about it, but this was not good.
Her relationship with Dax is yet to be made known, if Maisha is this furious now, what will happen when she finds out about the father of the baby. There's no way she's letting anyone know, no matter how hard they persuade her. She didn't believe anyone would know about this now aside from her mother with Dax still missing. This is not her plan, who has done this to her?
"Speak up." "Please forgive us, don't make us lose our job we have nowhere to go to." Hazel's mother fell to her knees crying, trying to avert Maisha's attention from her child even if she knew it was impossible. She warned this stubborn child of hers, but she assured her that no one will find out, so did Maisha know about this?
"I'm afraid this is your faith now, my mansion is not orphanage care or headquarters for raising bastards. There are so many fishes in the sea it wouldn't be hard finding a servant even more reliable than you and your daughter." "Please don't do this, please." She ran to hold Maisha's dress, her action only instigated more troubles.
Gesturing her hands to the Wadsworth, who in turn summoned the guards, they held the old woman, dragging her from their madam's body "Escort them out of this mansion, they're no longer workers here." She ordered. Hazel's heart skipped in her chest, if she leaves this mansion, she doesn't think Dax will be able to find her ever again. Besides Dax finding her, she didn't think they could survive if they were thrown out of this mansion.
This work is their lifesaver, and they both don't want to lose it. Maybe she could leave and find a life of her own, but who would care for her old mother, not with the attitude of the other maids towards her. "You can't just send us out Madam." Maisha met the daring girls' gaze, "What are you waiting for get them out of here." She screamed at the guards finding her way to the stairs.
She was not vile but was only following the rules of the mansion, no maid can get pregnant while still working for them. "Please, I'm carrying Dax's child." She screamed loud enough for anyone in the mansion to hear what she had said. Maisha paused, and turned around to face the girl "What did you say?"
"I'm s..." "I already heard that, I just needed confirmation. You can't be serious." Hazel bent her head refusing to meet the woman's gaze, she was uncertain of what Maisha would do to her. "You liar!" *SLAP* "How dare you lie against my son?"
"No, don't hit my child, don't forget her condition please." Hazel's mother came to the rescue, "I fed you two for years, gave you the life you didn't have, gave you a house to live in, and this is how you replace me by lying against my son?" "No ma'am, I would never lie against Dax..." "You call him by the name? A low maid? You're nothing to get pregnant for my son. If that thing you're carrying belongs to Dax, get ready to take it out."
"Wadsworth, take them back in, we'll leave for the hospital first thing in the morning." She walked away, Hazel could not hold her tears back in anymore. She's bonded with her child over the weeks, thankful each day it is in her gene not to have a big baby bump. The thought of losing this child right now got her scared, she needed to leave this mansion, she has to go, she can't sit and watch them take her child away.
.
Elsa stared at the man sitted before her, no matter how hard she tries she cannot unsee what she saw earlier wondering what they were doing in there. She was totally upset with Liam, even if she kept asking herself why she was upset when they did nothing. Seeing Liam with another woman makes her angry.
"Are you just going to keep staring at me, or are you going to talk?" He asked arranging some documents acting blind to her change of mood. "I don't like Camela around you, can you make that stop?" "I'm very sure that's not why you came here?" "It's more important than whatever it is I came here for, promise me you'd stay away from her."
She couldn't understand her feelings but at this moment she felt like killing Camela, Liam is hers and hers alone, he doesn't belong to any other woman except her. She couldn't explain what this man has done to her, he was messing with her heart, her feelings. She's not someone who acts this way, he was bringing up another side of her, a side she's scared of.
Liam got off his seat stepping close to her unhurriedly, his lazy eyes were on her but were still intimidating enough for her legs to find their way back till her back touched the shelf. She didn't know why Liam was acting this way, if she was still a kid why did he have to do those things with her and make her crazy for him.
Two hands were placed at both sides of her ears, Elsa gulped at the eyes undressing her even without touching. Her eyes stared at every other thing in the room except the man whose face was just inches apart from hers. He was going to leave the next day, putting on a fight with his little angel was the least thing Liam wanted to do, but he enjoys teasing her more than anything.
Elsa's not the kind of girl who expresses herself all the time, but when she does it only means she cannot hold it in anymore. He knows what he's done to her little innocent heart, "I promise, I'll stay away from her from now on." She met his gaze wondering why the hell he scared her if he was going to agree with her words?
"You were a bully in high school, weren't you? Liam chuckled at her words, "Come here, tell me why you wanted to talk to me at this hour." He held her wrist and took her over to a white couch in the next room. Elsa didn't know how to bring about the discussion she had with Jesse even of she's recited many times on what to say. It was weird how Liam gives her his full attention anytime she has something to say.
She bit her lips before parting them to speak, this little action only stirred something in him. "I... I only learned tonight that you've had Dax and Rafael for months now." "I hope you're not here to plead on their behalf?" "Please Liam, no matter what..."
"That's not something we should be debating about, their punishments only just began. If you have nothing else to say you can go to bed while I continue with my work." She could sense anger in his voice which was not a good sign. This only meant the pain they cost him is still very much fresh in his heart.
Liam rose to his feet and headed for his normal office, but before he could her hands stopped him from moving further. He met her gaze, "I want to be with you, at least let's spend the rest of the night together before you leave." She knew it'll be very hard to convince this man on releasing them. But she had to try.
"I haven't even told you of how much I'd miss you, Liam, I'll call when I'm less busy." She teased to have the man narrow his eyes at her. "When you're less busy, hmm." He sat back on the couch pulling her close to himself, "I'll miss my cute naughty wife too, take good care of yourself." He stroked her hair tenderly, "You too." She whispered wrapping her arms around his waist.
"Please reconsider what I asked, please." Her tiny voice calmed his hard heart, replacing it with happiness.
Through the months, she's grown to be a part of him, a part that cannot be erased easily. It didn't take long for Elsa to fall asleep in his arms holding him protectively like he was going to varnish if she lets him go. "Liam picked up his phone to call Tiger on the people he's held captive in his dungeon, this little woman is making him have a conscience, a character trait he's never exhibited in a long time.
For Mohan, the man really had no use anymore, especially after finding out everything he has to know about Harbetto. He had to order the release of Dax and Rafael, but the execution of Mohan was just to spite Harbetto. He hopes this will teach the man a lesson not to cross his part next time.
He picked his wife up and took her back to the room, laying right beside her as they cuddled, she's all that mattered to him, and he would do anything to make her happy.
