"Are you blind to not read the news that has been going on around the city!" Williams accompanied by Rafael and Dax spoke to the man in charge of the slave establishment.
It's been days since the news of Liam's death had spread across cities and countries. This three have waited patiently in the fear that the man would just arrive out of the blue, but the saw nothing. The man was truly gone from earth.
Dax knew there was no way Liam would go away leaving his wife behind especially now, he's gotten a likeness towards the girl. If Liam could almost kill him for claiming Elsa, it clearly meant she's special to him. Though they've not seen or heard anything from the girl, which had them wondering where she is or where he must have kept her, cause she was not in his new mansion where they usually stay.
Dax thought of thinking about her later, right now, all he wanted was to free Florence and know the way forward.
.
"Liam's dead, and since he doesn't have a child, it's only right his brother takes everything he owns that includes his wife!" Donovan said sitting on the couch. Jesse just stared at her parents without uttering a word. She felt pity for Elsa and wondered what she must be going through now, since she liked Liam alot.
This was horrible for the little girl to take. She wished she would be able to help the girl, maybe just hug her best friend and tell her everything would be okay.
"Are you sure you want everyone to know about this? Isn't it already too late. He wouldn't even accept you as his Father!" Maisha tried to reason things with her husband. The news of Liam's death Is already affecting the family, exposing this hidden secrets will only make matters worst.
"I don't know, but I think it's the best, we can't hide the truth forever!" Donovan said quietly.
"I think you shouldn't rush into making rational decisions honey, take your time to heal and think straight before doing anything!" She held his hands in hers.
"That cannot be possible, it will only be possible if Liam had a son before his death. Which we all know he hasn't even touched his wife yet!" This was one of Donovan's nightmare. No one would be able to handle the company like Liam does in forever.
But his second option is his second son, and that's the only way out. He didn't care if Elsa continued her education, all he wanted was for the little girl to produce a heir before anything happens to his recent son again.
.
"So tell us, are you freeing her or not?" Williams sounded inpatient. He didn't know how long he could wait for this fool to agree with their deal. The stench from this place was making his stomach turn and he felt like puking. Florence owed them alot, but then they also owed her alot, cause it's her bomb that has saved them now.
Liam deserved everybit of what he got from them and more. They were tired of always seeing the proud boy around. How could a young man, rule over older and wiser men?
In few minutes, they saw a guard bring Florence out of the place, she looked a little bit clean. But looked thinner and older than usual. Her teeth had turned from white to brown in no time.
She couldn't walk erect anymore cause of the countless bed she has been bedding different men. Liam has destroyed her life, though his death was easy, it didn't mean she would make his wife's death as easy as his.
She met their gazes and they exchanged a look of 'it has been done we're getting you out!" Her smile broadened. Finally, she'll be out of here.
.
"It was meant to happen anytime soon love, that's why I advised you from the beginning to kill your crush for him!" Faith said to her daughter who hasn't stop crying since she heard the news of Liam's death. The only man she loved was dead, she still loved him even if he didn't spare her a glance no matter how hard she tried to gain his attention.
Bianca loved the man and even till death, she still loved him so much. "You will find another that will fill these emptiness in you!" Faith tried to console her daughter.
.
"You did a good job!" Florence smiled at the man standing before her. "Told you it would be easy!" Rafael mustered a smile covering up for her stench. This stench might be permanent of care's not taken. He didn't think he could ride with her back home, good thing he brought his car along.
They paid the ransom and got out of the slave establishment. Florence was on her revenge, she would deal with Elsa so badly and take everything she's left with from Liam.
The man had quite a furtune, he had alot that has got people hunting for a share in it. It was amazing what a young man his age could acquire in such a short time. It's such a shame he's dead.
Liam was indeed a hard worker, but he's played his part and now it's time for his little wife to do hers.
.
Sitted in her balcony, Elsa watched the rising morning sun sobbing lightly. Though Liam was not back to her, she had this feelings he was not dead, something in her kept saying Liam was alive, but she didn't know what to believe.
Liam would never want to see her cry not to think of letting her suffer emotionally this much. He should walk through that door and kiss her like he did before when rumor like this was around. He kissed her that day and promised nerver to die.
He was one who always kept his promise, since she was important to him. He valued her more than anything.
She wanted to hear his deep voice again, especially the part when he always calls her his Love and would hold her with his strong arms. "My Liam, please come back!" She sobbed more wondering if it was even possible.
According to Antonio, the Black's have set a day for his funeral so quickly surprising everyone. Elsa held her lips when her sobs got louder, so her mother would not walk in. Lou had told her not to cry anymore, but how could she, when the only man she's ever loved was said to be dead.
It means she would never see Liam ever again. She hasn't even thought of what her life would look like without him. She left the balcony and got back into the room. She wouldn't give up yet, she didn't see his body, ring says nothing. There must be a possibility he's still alive, right?
.
A week passed by with liams funeral being held in the best was ever, yet it felt so painful. Elsa finally came out of hiding to attend the funeral but without her parents. She had asked them not to attend the funeral cause to the familiar face she saw there. Seeing Florence around again, only meant her parents were not save.
She had asked Liam not to kill her family members anymore cause she knew she was safe with him, but without him now.... She didn't think she could do anything about her. She was not a killer and fighter like her husband.
Earlier Donovan had ordered the presence of his entire family members in a general family meeting. They had to discuss about the future of the family now the backbone of the family was no more. He couldn't handle all the businesses alone, not when he still had a son.
Though the boy was not as perfect as Liam, he was going to teach him most of the things he knew. He regretted why he gave the boy away in the first place. He would have accepted the boy instead of hiding him from his first wife.
"I called for this meeting cause I have an announcement to make to everyone!" Dax smiled, it was his time to shine just as planned. He would take everything Liam owned especially the little angel sitted next to his mother and sister.
They were always meant to be this close forever, but that stupid dead man, always spoilt his plans.
"First, I'm so sorry for all the mistake I've made in the past which has caused great harm to my family. Which I now regret so much!" Donovan paused letting out a sigh before he picked the courage and continued.
He didn't care how everyone in this room will handle the truth which seems so heavy in his mouth too. But he knew he had to do this, there was no other better time than now.
With all attention on him, Donovan parted his lips to speak, "Rafael is my true son and blood, and he would be the next incharge of all my empires and properties from now on. All the things Liam's acquired so far during his lifetime, including his wife are Rafael's from now on.......!"
"What right do you have to make such decisions?" All eyes went to the Man standing at the entrance of the mansion astonished.
