"How did you sustain this injury? Who did this to you?" Maisha asked applying ointment on her son's skin which now had blue to greenish swoolen marks as a result of Liam's punches. It was embarrassing saying Liam did this to him, "It's nothing, I can handle myself!" Dax spoke through gritted teeth, as he picked up his clothes and left the room, leaving her behind.
Liam had humiliated him, before the maids and his men around. Dax was furious that he could kill anything or anyone on his way at this point. The man has not only taken the only woman he loves, but also his pride and eagle.
He's lost respect before the workers of the mansion, as everyone saw him as a weakling. Liam can laugh now, but his comeback would be loud. Dax stepped out of the mansion admist the birthday preparations.

"Boss, I found something really interesting for you!" Scorpion said to the man sitted on the couch trying to fix his thorn hands. He poured alcohol on his fist gritting his teeth from the pain he felt. Even if he had dealt with the man already, he wasn't satisfied.
Was this anger or jealousy?
The man has not witnessed what happened earlier but he could sense his boss was in a terrible mood. Scorpion wandered what or who has made his boss this furious.
Liam was by nature a man of few words and crossed hias limit when needed to, but when furious he barely utter a word. "Liam how does this dress look?"
The growing woman walked out of his room almost immediately in a white dress and her sandals accompanied by a comfortable purse. Her back length hair was tied in pony tail, as little make up was applied on her face.
Elsa now had an idea of what to wear for each occasion as Liam had helped her set up her wardrobe himself. She felt blessed to have met someone like him. Someone who actually cared for her when she had no one left in this world. He has taken good care of her, and provided whatever she needed whenever she asked.
Who would believe Liam actually listened to her and sponsored her school trip, not just for her but for everyone in the best and most exclusive way ever. What he's done was more than what anyone would do for anyone. She just couldn't tell why he did this things for her.
Liam had told her earlier to prepare cause of the surprise he had for her. Elsa was excited and all bubbled up about her surprise, she just wanted to know what her hubby had install for her.
She had thought no one was in the lounge when she stepped in as she had left the man buried in his drinking, but who would have thought she would find Scorpion here. Liam studied her appearance and a smile curved on his lips.
Just by staring at her, the burning range in him deccipated filling his entire being with light and unexplainable joy. Unending light, the smile on his lips broadened a little, it was evident he was happy.
"We'll talk about whatever it is you want to talk about later Scorpion!" He rose up and took his wife by her hands. "You look so beautiful love!" He said placing sweet kiss on her palm and she blushed feeling ashamed cause of the other presence in the room.
It was time for him to show everyone who his wife was and how beautiful she is. It was time he let everyone know not to cross her part too. If he is Lucifer and she is the bride of Lucifer that would produce his little angels.
He could see his future with her, a future filled with joy and happiness. A future where she would live freely far away from all this trouble and hate. Holding her hands in his, they stepped out of the mansion.
"Where are we headed?" "What's a surprise of I tell you about it!" He dipped his hands into his pockets as they both got to his car with scorpion behind them. He knew how important this very woman was to his boss, that was one of the reasons he begged to protect her himself.
He was loyal to Liam cause he had genuine love for the man since he met the man. Liam had helped his dying mother back then when they were nothing. That kind gesture earned the man his loyalty forever.
Getting into the car, they headed to a lonely and deserted place after a long drive. Elsa wondered what was here he wanted to show her. As she has seen so far, it didn't seem like there was anything of importance around there. She stared at her environment through the window till the car came to a halt and a grave yard came to veiw.
Elsa wondered what they were doing at a place like this. Was Liam trying to introduce her to a dead relative? Biting her lower lips to swallow up her questions as the man would not even give a direst answer even if she asked, she stepped out of the car and followed the lead of Liam into the cemetery.
It's been years since he last visited cause he was sent away by his father. The cemetery cleaners have not slacked when it came to cleaning the place. "I want to introduce you to someone important love!" His lips help a subtle smile as he took her hands in his. He could see the confused look on his little wife's face, but he knew her questions would be answered soon.
Gesturing his other hands, a guard gave him flowers which he took as they walked into the cemetery. There was just one tombstone in the large yard, which held the name of a woman and the year she died. But what confused Elsa was that the woman's name also had the Black's surname attached to it.
Placing the flowers on the grave, Liam parted his lips, "Good day mother, I brought my wife with me!" He turned to look at his wife, "Meet my mother Love, your real mother inlaw!" She was agape by his words.
"Bu...... But.....!" "She's not my real mother if that's what you're thinking, she's my step mum!" He returned his gaze back to the grave.
"I lost my mother while I was seven and my father married second wife, we'll save the rest of the story for later!"
This is the reason he was cold around his parents and Family' Elsa thought. She still could not believe what she just heard. This only means Jesse was his step sister? Bit does Jesse know about this?
Maybe he did not approve of his father getting married to a second wife that's why he's not close to them. She had earlier thought about why Liam didn't look like his father or his mother and she just couldn't come up with a better explanation.
"Don't overthink things, you'd still not get the right answer trying to fix the puzzle your brain gives to you!" He said calmly still staring at his mother's grave.
The memories of the incident of that night ran through his head again, and he could recall how his father killed her. She was insane and his father was not ready to help her, all Donovan did was ignite it more making her dangerous so he could find an excuse to kill her.
Liam knew all of that, even if he was still too little to do anything. He still loved his mother no matter who she was, and he would still love her even if she turned completely mad. He would still love her if she was blind or deaf or had one or two disabilities. He would still love her even if she was shapeless and ugly.
"I'm sorry!" He heard his wife speak slowly, the pain was still evident in his eyes no matter how hard he tried to hide it. She knew what he was going through cause she had experienced this same loss too. When her parents died, Elsa felt like dying too, she felt like she was no longer part of the world, but he was there to comfort her.
She would return the same favour too, she would love and support him no matter what happens between them.
"Hello real Mother inlaw, sorry I have no flowers with me for my first visit. I'm sure you would have been the best mother if you were still alive. I wish I had met you in person before you passed on, but in all, May your soul rest in peace!" She touched the grave with her palms before retreating her hands and placing them by her side.
"We'll leave now mother, My Wife and I have alot to do today!" Liam smiled. "Common love, I have another surprise for you. We don't have time by our side!" He held her hands and took her back into the car.
"The yard is large for just one grave?" She spoke when the car started moving. She has been meaning to ask this question the moment they arrived at the cemetery "It's our family cemetery, my parents are yet to live there forever too!"
