Dinner was finally over with Liam not touching the food, which everyone on the table found strange even his own family members. Except of course Elsa, she understood why he didn't touch the food as he had told her the reason.
Each time she sees him like this, she wonders if his allergies to spice will just disappear. But this was reality, not some princess cartoon drama where there are magic.
She stared at his empty plate which had no stains of food unlike the rest of the people on the table. They got up from the table and headed back to the ball room as the Anakin's greeted their guest goodbye one after another.
Lydia seized the opportunity to talk to the man who has refused to look at her through out the party. Her cousin had told her he had a wife, a wife that has made him not look at any other woman. She was curious at the same time furious. She wanted to know the girls identity, but the mask on her face hid her true face.
Now she's seen this little girl beside him, she had already suspected she would be the one her cousin talked about. Which had her wondering why she and her useless boyfriend Rafael were not here tonight. It would have been easy if they were here with her.
Lydia walked up to the couple, in elegance as her eyes were stucked to the little girl. "Hello Liam, we meet again!" Her eyes never left Elsa even if she just greeted Liam.
As usual Liam said nothing to her as he observed her. "She's not to be played with Lydia!" He suddenly have a subtle warning with a cold tone. She smiled, just everything she needs to know. "Is she the one, your wife?" Elsa stared at the strange psyco woman.
"No need to explain anything to me, ich werde due toten!" She smiled looking at the girl one more time before walking away. Surprisingly, Liam held her wrist, he breath in quickly as his breath got husky.
"I'm not merciful when it comes to that. Test me!" His face was still the same as he spoke to her. He let her wrist go after his words. Lydia walked away with a grin, when she got to her car, the grin fell. Liam has never spoken to her in such cold tone before.
The type that sent chills to her body. He was scary, even if she didn't get to see his face, she was terrified by him.
One thing Liam hated more than anything was, threats. No one had the right to threaten him more or less his wife. His breath turned shallow as he stared at the little girl who didn't for once look at him. He knew what he did, but it was for her own good.
If he didn't stay far away from her, then Lydia's threat's wouldn't be the only thing he would witness today. "Thank you once again for coming Mr Black!" Mr Anakin said to the couple as they headed out.
Elsa got into the car, without saying a word to the man sitted next to her. If he claims to not know her, then she doesn't know him also. She kept a livid face and stared out the glass through out their ride back home, and Liam said nothing to her too.
He let her be, boiling inside at her little actions. He didn't know how one little girl could turn his sanity and render his years of restraining himself useless. She was driving him crazy. He had to let his anger out. He needed to release this anger in his heart.
They arrived back at home and Elsa rushed into the mansion to take off her clothes, leaving Liam by the car.
He had a lot in his mind and his problem with his little wife was the first thing he had to settle. They would be apart a day after tomorrow, and he had tried preparing himself mentally for the war about to happen. They can't seperate like this, how can he sleep at night knowing his angel was mad at him.
He stepped into the mansion lazily and headed to the room, knowing well what she would be doing right now. He had to talk to her, to explain everything to her and make her understand he did everything for her own good.
Liam sauntered into the bathroom where the girl was showering as he watched her bath. Her naked sight alone was enough to stop his aching heart. He smiled as he traced the water that rolled down her hair to her foot.
His eyes went down to the one dripping from her tiny mounds. She was growing really fast.
Elsa opened her eyes to pick her soap and gasped by who she saw standing before her.
