Florence had to compose herself and sign the documents, "we're good now?" She asked with a forced smile. "Just because you signed some agreement doesn't mean I would still want to be friend's with you!" Faith started.
"Especially now you're of lower status!' Faith rolled her eyes looking down on her formal best friend with her ego raised high. Florence gritted her teeth at her friends words, she blamed George internally for this insult. She regretted marrying him, it's not like she had any other option.
She was at the verge of loosing her inheritance to her younger sister who was the legitimate child of her father. Now she thought of it, she still lost everything she and her mother worked so hard for cause of her worthless husband.
But before all this drama from her supposed friend, she knew a day like this would come. A day when faith would mock her and reduced her to nothing.
She had seen the signs many years ago but ignored it, that was why she and George always went to her step sister Lou and her husband for help. And the couple didn't hesitate to help them and even double everything they'll ask for.
But instead of Florence being grateful for their good deeds, she always envied her sister and her family. She felt like Lou was mocking her, for her predicament then. Not to forget she was going to marry Antonio till he met her sister and they claim to be inlove. Thinking about all this Florence clenched her teeth together, regretting why she gave them easy death. If she could turn back time she would kill them over and over again, maybe this time adding a little spice to their death. Maybe this time cutting their flesh piece by piece till they eventually die. How wonderful it'll be. Florence thought.
"I just thought I should let you know as a friend I once knew!" Faith's words broke Florence off her daze and she met her friends gaze. "What are you talking about?" She asked with serious expression.
"Lou is alive and her knew name is Elizabeth, at first I thought the person I saw was not her, until I saw her clearly!" Florence said nothing to faith as she was dumbstruck by the information she just heard. "She's married to Mr Auger Beaufort!"
'Auger Beaufort', it was a distant name yet it sounded so familiar, she ocssillated her head trying to remember where she must have heard such name before. But she still could not remember.
"How did you come to know about this?" Florence finally found her voice, "Two days ago, at his daughters welcoming party. You should do something in time before somebody else finds out about her existence and by somebody you know who I mean?" Faith said casually.
"You know Mr Beufort is a powerful business man, there's no way I can harm her if she's alive. Are you sure you're not mistaken?" Florence was just confused, there was no way her step sister could still be alive. Not when she had ordered that bomb blast, it wasn't possible for Lou to escape that accident.
Florence knew that Mr Beufort is a strong business man, one of the few men she has seen Mr Black associate with, but aside being a known business man, she feels like she's seen him before.
