" mmmm" She rubbed her stomach with satisfaction and stood up then suddenly paused, remembering Carl's words and washed the plates then went back to the bedroom and sat on the bed again with a sigh.

After Zach left, Carl sighed, thinking of the next step he was going to take. But if the mysterious man was behind this all again, he hard to work harder to finally bring everything to an end. His gaze darted toward the bedroom then he stood up and entered the password.
After entering the room, his eyes fell on the bed where she was lying peacefully and a small smile appeared on his lips while staring at her serene expression. His eyes darted to her exposed slender legs and he sighed then walked toward the closet and came out shortly after, with a coat.
After splaying it on her legs he sank into the bed beside her and faced her. He gazed silently at her flawless face with a smile on his lips and sighed contentedly.
__ Some Hours Later __
Clara yawned and stretched her hands as she sat on the bed. She glanced around tiredly then instantly widened her eyes. ' when did I fall asleep.' She got down from the bed and noticed the coat that had just fallen on the floor.
" Huh? when did he come inside"? She gazed at the black coat with knitted brows then sighed gloomily when she remembered how he had treated her.
" I hope he's not still mad." She quickly put on the coat and got down from bed then walked in the door's direction.
As she got out of the door which was already opened, she saw him working on some documents and wondered if he ever gets tired. ' Hmmm, I wonder when he will start giving me work'. Then, she slowly walked to his side and cleared her throat.
Carl glanced up from his work and with a frown, seeing that she had woke up and wondered if she didn't sleep yesterday. His eyes turned to his coat that she had worn and a small smile appeared on his lips. " What is it, " he asked softly.
"Huh?" she gawked at his face for some seconds then quickly averted her gaze. When was the last time she had seen him smile? Her heart fluttered and she quickly regained her stance, remembering why she was there. " Uhm, don't you have any work to give me?".
" What was on the contract?" He answered her question with a question while staring at her intently.
" Well, I. . ." she looked down while trying to remember. for God's sake, wasn't he the one that had interrupted her when she was trying to read it? she groaned inside then slowly looked up guiltily.
He looked down at what he was doing and chuckled inside. " You're only supposed to take care of my needs," he patiently explained.
"Oh, okay"? Clara nodded confusedly while wondering why his mood had suddenly brightened.
He looked at the time after some minutes and then stood up then said, " Let's go."
"Huh?" She also stared at her wristwatch with wide eyes after noticing that it was nighttime already. ' for how many hours did I sleep!.' She quickly picked up her bag from the couch then followed behind him.
When they reached outside, she noticed that the secretaries had already left and heaved a sigh of relief. Knowing that gossips will start again if they see his coat on her which she had also noticed but didn't dare to question him. She sniffed his scent from the cloth and a smile bloomed on her face while staring at his back.' Mmm, I wonder what kind of cologne he uses.'
They got down the elevator and she was about to press the downstairs button when he quickly pressed another button.
" Oh." she stepped aside and they stood quietly inside until they reached the parking lot. Then she went inside his car, not daring to question him further and he drove off.
After the long silent ride, she got down from the car and said good night which he replied with an " Mm" then drove off.
She got inside her apartment and after taking her bath and eating dinner, sat down on the bed in her pajamas and took out the contract from her bag then stared at it. Her eyes were fixed on the part which said; ' Party B must take care of all the needs of Party A including eating on time, during and after work hours.' and she sighed.
' Is he a baby?' She wondered and scoffed. He might as well hire her as his nanny. She retrieved her phone from the bedside table then scrolled through her contact list and stared at the number which she had thought would never appear on her notification again.
When was the last time they texted? She sighed and a small smile appeared on her face.
She was about to press the text button when her hand mistakenly dialed the call button. " Oh no". She quickly cut it off and sighed in relief not knowing that the phone had rung once.

Carl frowned as his phone rang once and he wondered who could that be. He closed his laptop after a while, then took the phone and his face broke into a smile.
Why was she flashing his number? He chuckled and dialed the contact then placed it on his ear.

' Urgh 'Clara was still trying to type him a text while rewriting and deleting some words when his call suddenly came in. ' what!?' She gasped then pick it up after calming down. Then muttered softly while trying to sound as confident as she could.
" Mm, what is it,?" Carl said from the other end.
" Uhm, it was written on the contract that I must ensure you eat on time. . . so I want to remind you to eat dinner, " she uttered rapidly and dragged her breath with a hand placed on her thumping chest.
" Mm." Carl slightly chuckled from the other end. So she was not totally dumb.
They listened to each other's breath and after some seconds Clara finally said good and hung up the phone.
