"Carl... Which one do you prefer? a girl or a boy?" She softly asked after some minutes as they now stared ahead at the waterfall while the baby slept soundly.
"Mm." Carl contemplated for some seconds before he replied, "Both..." He heard her giggled again then sighed happily.
"Hehe..." Clara also sighed happily and placed one palm on his hand as her thoughts drifted back to the marriage certificates which were brought to them yesterday by a lawyer from city M.
They continued watching the waterfall silently with soft smiles on their faces while holding hands and after some minutes, heard footsteps coming from behind and they both glanced back then watched as Jack and Lily walked toward them.
"Big Sis..." Lily called out softly and carefully took the sleeping baby from her hands. "It is time for your therapy... The doctor is here already."
"Oh... Okay." Clara slowly nodded with a smile and Carl helped her down from the swing again. She smiled back at Jack then started walking away with her sister in careful footsteps.
The two guys watched the girls' backs with smiles then sighed contentedly after they were out of their sight.
It was a fortunate thing that after reviving from the coma, her body had quickly regained all its functions, probably due to the herbs that were used on her and she doesn't need much of therapy.
Jack turned his attention back to Carl and he sat down on the swing beside him then slowly shook his head with a chuckle as he thought back to all the things that had happened right from two years ago.
"Everything is just like a dream..." He muttered after some seconds with a small smile.
And Carl slowly nodded, also thinking about those events, from the first time he saw her at the company's entrance.
"I hope you don't mind me taking your little sister away... " Carl muttered with a chuckle and Jack stilled for some seconds then started laughing loudly.
He thought back to how the guy would silently watch his little cousin anytime he visited his house when they were little. One day, they were inside the playroom, and just as usual, after the boy was done scribbling things down on the book which he always carried around, he snatched the book from him and realized that he was trying to draw the baby.
"Stop staring at my little sister... She deserves a better portrait " He repeated what he had muttered at that time and they both started laughing again.
"Big bro, what are you guys laughing about?" Zack suddenly walked toward them with Ken following behind him while holding the baby that had started crying again.
Both Carl and Jack chuckled and slowly shook their heads.
"The girls are planning to do a bridal shower tomorrow don't you think we should also hold a groom's shower?" Zach asked excitedly and the other guys nodded except Carl.
He doesn't want to get drunk on the night before his wedding.
"Dude, come on..." Ken whined while rocking his baby carefully.
"Yes, Big bro... I'm sure sister-in-law would not mind" Zach added with an expectant gaze and Jack also nodded.
"We guys need to have some fun too," he seconded and Carl looked between the anxious guys with a sigh.
"Okay..." He slowly nodded after some seconds then took out his phone from his pants pocket and dialed a number.
** The Next Day **
It was almost night time and the mansion was lit up brightly with different colors of lights that reflected brightly against the many flowers and the many decorations which were already in place and everyone waited eagerly for the wedding which would take place the next morning.
In a room inside the building, laugh and chatters could be heard from the ladies who were sitting happily on the couches inside the bedroom.
Even the older women were inside the room as they watched the two brides being surrounded by many servants who were applying different kinds of facial treatments on their faces.
The older women chatted happily and Vivian who was sitting beside her mother who was also chatting with the stared down at her phone whose screen had suddenly lit up.
She groaned inside after reading through the contents and stood up from the couch with a dark expression.
After muttering an excuse, she walked out of the room and strode through the long hallway toward the stairs while glancing around warily.
Reaching the living room, she found it empty and another groan escaped her lips as she stared down at her phone again.
She started walking out of the living room toward the garden where the decorations for tomorrow's wedding were already made.
Also finding the place empty, she was about to turn and walk back into the house when her eyes suddenly darted to a far distance and it instantly widened.
She stood transfixed in one spot while watching the guys who were drinking themselves out and cheering loudly, while wondering if they would even be able to stand by tomorrow, spotting the many bottles of beers that were already sprawled on the ground. Is that what they call a grooms showers? "Tsk tsk tsk." She slowly shook her head with a sigh.
However, that is not the most important thing now as she remembered what had brought her here.
Staring down at her phone again, she scoffed loudly and was about to turn back when a figure suddenly jumped in front of her.
"Shit! Are you crazy!?" She gasped with widened eyes and the guy chuckled then grabbed her hand and started pulling her away, toward a corner.
"Matt! Let go of me..." Vivian snapped and yanked her hand off the guy's tight grip as they stopped walking behind a stone pillar.
"Hehe..." Matt chuckled and he slowly released her hands before pinning her against a pillar.
"I want you to get ready... We're taking off tomorrow, after the wedding," he muttered unhurriedly while his gaze was fixed on hers and Vivian rolled her eyes.
