Chapter 276 - CHAPTER 276: HE KNOWS ALREADY.

After managing to retrieve it from her bag, she sighed again then dialed a number which was picked up after a few rings, then came an old man's voice from the other end.

"Little girl, what is it this time? I thought I already sent you the money yesterday... Are you keeping an eye on my grandson? How is he doing today?"

Kelly sighed exasperatedly and lowered her voice. "Listen, old man... he already knew."

"What!?" The old man shouted from the other end, then scoffed angrily."Little girl, didn't I tell you not to inform him yet? Are you crazy!!!?"

"Argh! Leave me alone old man... I almost got killed by your grandson... My life is more important than the money. and besides, don't you care about my life too?" Kelly whined agitatedly while staring ahead at the road, not wanting to remember all those months of anxiety she had gone through, as her heart would almost jump out, any moment she sighted the dangerous guy, knowing that she was keeping a very important secret from him.

"And he's on his way coming to the house, you'd better be prepared," She added calmly as the car neared the far end of the city, then she listened to the old man's gasp.

"You preposterous child! I should have seen this coming and found someone better, what if my grandson__"

"Argh! Leave me alone, you can't believe what I went through last night while trying to save your so-called grandson... I almost got killed by that maniacal girl for goodness sake... Anyways, I'm also on my way home, I need to take a warm bath." She cut the man off then hung up the call before scoffing inside.

Her attention turned back to the road and she increased the car's speed while hoping that the guy would not freak out if he found out the whole truth which he eventually would, any moment from now.

** Meanwhile, At Eternal Spring Garden **

The vast and magnificent mansion which stood at the end of the city and had occupied almost all the district was serenely calm inside.

The atmosphere could be described as luminous as the beautiful scents of flowers had engulfed the whole place and the calm morning breeze which kept drifting past.

Flowers which were in different shades and kinds were beautifully decorated across the whole house and the servants who were all tending to them in their light uniforms were whispering and giggling softly among themselves as they chatted happily, not wanting to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere in the mansion.

Apart from the flowers, many varieties of fruits, ranging from big ones that were flourishing on trees branches to smaller ones, were all planted at each side of the mansion while the huge building which houses the rooms stood in the middle.

At the left side of the mansion, the sun glistened brightly, reflecting on the huge waterfall that flowed down beautifully from the tall artificial blue mountain, down to the large glass pond which was in the middle of the flowers among the green grasses.

And you can also notice a swing on a nearby fruit tree where a lot of similar trees stood very far from each other in the vast grass field, as they made a cycle and all facing the overflowing waterfall.

And although the trees were not closely packed together, they all managed to provide a shade to the whole area, without restricting the sunlight that kept shining against the waterfall and the colorful flowers.

The right side of the mansion which does not contain the waterfall has a very large greenhouse which was built with transparent glasses and from the outside, you could notice the several kinds of vegetables, each planted in a row, and the glass roofing was wide opened to permit the sunlight that was streaming on the vegetables.

Servants were also inside there and watering the vegetables while they also chatted happily, however in a hushed tone, each wanting to keep the atmosphere serene and the constant chirping of the birds that inhabited the several trees were the only prominent melodies that greeted the mansion, each morning just like this one.

Despite the peaceful atmosphere around the mansion, inside the building, was the opposite as an old man grumbled with a dark expression while looking down at the phone in his hand, after being hung up on by the foolish girl.

He should have known better before asking her to watch over his grandson. However, he could not think of anyone else, because she was the most suitable person to carry out the task as her clumsiness finally had an advantage. But it was that same clumsiness that had led her to let the cat out of the bag.

"He would be here at any moment..." He sighed heavily then scoffed at the phone again before tossing it to the servant that stood behind him and then he started striding toward the large door.

"Old man, where are you off to?" An old woman who looked a lot younger than her age slowly came walking down the long winding stairs with a small frown on her face while watching her husband's anxious expression.

She was wearing a white floral dress with her hair beautifully styled in a bun and a young female servant was carefully trailing behind her.

"Old man, answer me..." She inquired softly, as her expression turned to a worried one, seeing that the old man had started pacing around while rapidly tapping the golden cane which was in his hand on the floor.

"Why don't you ask that stupid girl when she returns, she had totally ruined our plans," The old man scoffed after the woman reached his side.

"What do you mean? Isn't Kelly in City M... Why? is she coming back?" The old woman inquired, as her frown deepened.

"No, she isn't in City M, she followed our grandson here and finally managed to blurt everything out. Ahhh that little girl, I can't wait to get a hold of her and knock some senses into her.
