"O... Okay." Vivian sniffed while nodding quickly. And seeing that the phone's battery was about to go down, she slowly stood up with trembling legs then started pacing around the room while praying that she could grab a connection somehow.
She was still pacing around anxiously when her eyes suddenly darted toward one of the tables and it widened tremendously as she watched the small chip that was attached to it, whose red light was rapidly blinking then cautiously glanced at the other tables and noticed the same thing.
She swallowed deeply and looked down at the girl who was sobbing silently on the floor then turned her attention to the phone again.
By then, the sounds of several gunshots were very loud and clear from the distance.
Clara glanced down at her hand, still sitting in that position. And she could also hear the rapid beeping of the small chips which she had also noticed, attached to many of the desks that were inside the room.
Everything around her became blurred as her thoughts wandered to her parents and sister. "Mum, Dad..." She sobbed again, with both hands splayed on her chest.
"Yes!"
Her head snapped to the girl who had suddenly exclaimed, then she jerked up from the floor and hurried toward her.
"It... It is ringing Clara... I hope he picks it soon," Vivian stammered while her eyes darted to those chips again with a thumping heart.

Meanwhile, outside the building, the battle was very fierce as the masked men who were very great in number rapidly exchanged gunshots with the other groups.
Two of the masked men who had just run out of the building rushed toward their boss who is also among the men and had taken the lead.
"Boss, she had refused to follow us." One of them panted heavily as they stopped in front of the man.
"Yes, Boss... She is with the other girl, I think they're both trapped inside the weapons room," The other masked man said while pointing back to the building with a trembling hand as he also panted heavily.
Everyone knows that the weapons room has the most secured door inside the building and no one had ever dared to tamper with it.
The middle-aged man who was staring at them in shock finally came back to his senses. "Y... You mean my daughter is still inside!!!?" His eyes widened tremendously. He had been in a rush and had totally forgotten about the bombs and left her inside with the girl.
"Idiots, why did you not force her!!!" He yelled furiously then glanced down at his wristwatch before looking up at the other parties who were slowly overpowering them, he had never anticipated the Vipers to join their hands. "Shit! Inform the snipers to start firing their guns, none of them should leave here alive!!!" He commanded harshly then turned back and dashed toward the huge building.
Meanwhile, among the other party,
Zach hurried toward his brother with a frightened expression. The open-spaced battle is what he hated the most. However, that is not the most important thing now.
He couldn't believe that their step-uncle was the mysterious leader of this organization and was behind all of this. He glanced up at the sky which had started turning dark then stopped in front of his brother while trying to catch his breath.
"Big bro, those men are increasing rapidly, don't you think we should just lunch the missiles?"
"No, the authorities will arrive soon." Carl shook his head then his eyes darted up to one of the tree branches at a distance then fired his gone in that direction. "Just focus, on bringing down the snipers," he commanded calmly and Zach quickly nodded.
He knew his brother had only informed the authorities because of that greedy old fat. If it was for him, he would have just finished him off. Who knew the kind of treacherous things the cunning man had done.
He glanced sideways at the other groups who had also joined them in the battle and was about to walk away when Mira suddenly rushed toward them with a gun in hand while wiping the sweats off her forehead.
"Big brother, I think Clara is inside there, I'll go and get her__ Zach let's go," She muttered anxiously and Zach quickly nodded then grabbed her hands while they dodged the bullets that were being fired in their direction.
"Wait." Carl stopped them, then glanced at the building which was far from them. "It's dangerous... I'll go," He said, then started striding forward.
Both Zach and Mira nodded then glanced at each other, they were about to walk away from the large tree when a phone suddenly starts ringing and their heads snapped to Carl who had stopped in his footsteps.
After taking out the phone from his pants pocket, a small frown appeared on Carl's forehead as he stared down at the strange number.
He walked back to the tree, and answered the call after putting it on speaker, amid the loud sounds of the gunshots, then came a small voice from the other end.
"B... Big brother," Clara sobbed silently while her eyes darted around the red lights on the chips which were now blinking rapidly as the beeping sounds increased.
Both Zach and Mira gasped as they had also heard the voice and they quickly rushed forward.
"Clara!?" Carl glanced down at the phone with a shocked expression. "Don't be scared, okay? I'm here... I'll soon get you out of there."
"Yes, sister-in-law... Don't worry, we're already taking those men down."
"Yes, Clara... Big brother will come to get you now, stop crying."
Both Zach and Mira added hurriedly as their eyes were fixed on the phone's screen worriedly.
"M... Mira... Zach..." Listening to the anxious voices from the other end, Clara slowly shook her head, while more tears flushed down her face. Then she glanced at Vivian who had now slumped down on the floor with a blank expression as she stared dazedly at the chips and her sobs increased. "Big brother, don't come... It's a trap."
