She watched as her father got out of the car and she quickly rushed out, then hurriedly followed behind him.
Her eyes slowly wandered around the huge building which she couldn't make out properly, with the huge moon above, serving as the only source of light in the vast darkness.
Turning her attention to her father's back, she sighed inside and wondered why he had brought her to this kind of place and what business he is also doing here.
They soon reached the enormous door which was suddenly opened from inside and her thoughts were finally confirmed after seeing the view in front of her. She watched perplexedly as several men who were all dressed in black, walked around the large hall. And some of them were rushing up or down the huge stairs with different kinds of weapons in their hands.
"Father? W... What are we doing here?" Her attention turned to her father with a gasp then she heard the man scoffed. Her thoughts wandered back to some months ago and she could remember seeing these kinds of men from her window. However, those men were not wearing masks. "Father?__"
"Shut up" the man cut her off as they started walking up the stairs while some of the masked men greeted them respectfully.
Vivian clamped her mouth shut and she slowly nodded while her gaze would dart to the several men now and then who were also sneaking glances at her.
Does her father own some kind of a secret organization? Is this some kind of joke? Her heart thumped rapidly and she wondered if this is the place her father had constantly come to whenever he makes an excuse of traveling abroad as her mother would always complain that she couldn't reach him on the phone during those times.
Sighing inside, she slowly followed him through the hallway after climbing the long winding stairs, and they passed by many doors where she had noticed weapons, drugs, and even missiles being manufactured as all the doors were slightly opened.
Her widened eyes snapped back to the man again and she dared not to question him while wondering with a frown the kind of a person he really is.
Some minutes passed by and they finally stopped in front of a door then she watched as he pushed it open with a bang.
A small gasp escaped her lips and her pupils dilated again as she stared wildly at the huge room which was filled with many computers and other electronic devices.
"Wow..." She couldn't control the words that escaped her lips and her eyes instantly lit up with excitement then she heard her father's chuckle.
"Follow me." The man glanced at her expression and chuckled again, then continued saying, "Tomorrow morning, I'll tell you what to do and make sure you don't make any mistake__ now go and sleep."
He led her toward a door at the far end of the huge room then opened it and walked inside.
Vivian followed him inside the bedroom while her excitement slowly turned to a frown. "Father, what are you talking about__" she quickly clamped her mouth shut, watching the man's expression slowly turning dark.
"Sleep!!! You have a lot of things to do tomorrow!!!" The man snapped sternly then walked out of the room and closed the door with a bang.
Vivian flinched slightly then sighed again and carefully lay on the bed with a hand splayed on her burning head. But how could she sleep with this discovery? She just realized that she will never understand what kind of a person her father is.
This place reminds her so much of Big brother's basement. Another sigh escaped her lips and she stared up at the ceiling blankly, remembering the times that she would follow him to the basement when they were young. At that time, it was still operated by his father.

The middle-aged man strode through the hallway with an anxious expression after walking out of the tech room and he watched as a younger man in a mask suddenly rushed toward him.
"Where is she?" He asked coldly and continued walking while the guy followed behind her.
"She's inside the room__ but Boss, she had refused to eat anything."
"Hmph, I don't care," The middle-aged man reply as they walked toward a door in the same hallway. His only problem is how to make that stubborn boy surrender and get everything over with.
The masked man quickly nodded with a shrug, then he sighed inside and respectfully muttered, "Boss, they're infiltrating other hideouts and capturing our men... Don't you think__"
"Silence... I have been planning for this moment for so many years, do you think I don't know what I'm doing?" The middle-aged man cut him off with a snap and the masked man quickly nodded, then continued walking behind him silently.
After reaching the door, he pressed a button and it opens instantly then he stood aside as his boss sauntered into the room and he quickly closed the door again.
After the door was closed, the middle-aged man chuckled darkly as his gaze landed on the bed. And even through the dim lights, he could notice that the girl was deeply sleeping.
His hand wandered to the wall and he hurriedly located the light switch then turned it on before returning his attention to the bed.
A small frown slowly formed on his forehead while watching her back cautiously as the girl lay on her stomach and holding something in her hand.
'This is impossible.' His heart started thumping rapidly and he quickly turned back and opened the door where the masked man was still waiting outside.
"Come here." He called out to the man who scurried toward him then he asked, "Is this the girl?"
"Yes, boss." The masked man nodded hurriedly, wondering why his boss had on a shocked expression.
The middle-aged man frowned again, after glancing back at the girl who was still sleeping. Although he had sent his men several times to capture her, he hadn't really known how she looked like.
