Carl's eyes suddenly darted in her direction and she quickly looked away.
"Hmph... Clara, don't mind them."
"As I told you before, these girls are complete hypocrites."
Both Harry and Ben scoffed under their breaths as their attentions were still in their food. The girls are obviously not over the CEO yet.
"Come on Ben... We're really serious__ It's just that we couldn't control the words that escape our lips after seeing the CEO." The girl named Ashley softly said as she stared at the guy sweetly.
"Yeah Harry, now don't take it to heart... you're the only guys in our hearts." Chloe seconded softly with a sweet smile and Clara rolled her eyes with an exasperated sigh.
She would have been in her apartment now, happily drawing her comics. She groaned inside, then heard the girl named Linda continued.
"Derek, why don't you taste this beef... It is well marinated and cook... Here," The girl said coyly while transferring the beef from her plate to the guy's plate with a sweet smile.
Clara watched the three girls and felt like she could cry at any moment. Why would they call her here if they're this good at wooing guys? 'Argh! My comics, my money!!!'
"Clara, please say something."
"Yes, Clara... please."
"Ask them to reply to us."
The girls leaned in closer and whispered to her after being ignored by the guys.
"Huh?" Clara glanced between them and the guys and she grimaced inside. No, she can't do this anymore. "Talk to them yourselves," she muttered with a glare then jerked up from the chair and walked away.
"Clara?"
"Wait!."
"Come back."
The girls called out to her and sighed helplessly then turned their attentions to the guys who were still ignoring them.
Derek's eyes followed the girl's back as she hurried away, then he sighed inside.
'Hmph, I'm never gonna fall for their lies again.' Clara scoffed and puffed as she walked past the tables where other guests were seated while holding tightly to the straps of her bag.
Her eyes darted to the guy who was still busy with the reporters, and her lips slowly curled up into an awkward smile before she continued walking toward the entrance of the hotel.

Meanwhile, at the entrance of the enormous building in front of the large glass doors.
The three men were still bombarded with so many questions by the reporters, who dare not step too close to them, making the security men's job easy.
Each knows which questions to ask and which not to. While the questions were mostly concerned about the hotel, some also asked about the projects of other companies and constructions still going on under this young and mighty prodigy, the most sorted out bachelor of the city.
It was an honor for them to finally get an interview with him, which only happens, once in many years, when new collaborations were launched especially with foreign companies, or when new businesses were to be launched just like this one.
David glanced down at his wristwatch for the umpteenth time while anxiously tapping his foot on the ground as the reporters were seemingly not ready to leave them yet.
He glanced sideways at his boss whose gaze had been darting to a corner now and then. and he smiled, knowing well who he was glancing at.
It was time to carry out their plan, however, these reporters__ wait, the reporters could also be of a good use. It was perfect. 'Hehehe.'
Glancing again at his boss whose gaze had darted to the girl again, he took out his phone and quickly sent a text after looking at Zach who is also busy with the reporters.
A small frown settled on Carl's face as he watched the girl stood up from the table and walking away. He had heard her mentioned that she was going to work on her comics the whole day and didn't bother to ask her to come. However, he was so happy, after spotting her among the employees. He was still wondering the reason why she's leaving so early amid the question of the reporters when his eyes suddenly darted to the huge display board and in the next second, it widened tremendously.

Clara who was still striding toward the hotel's entrance suddenly heard gasps then felt rushed footsteps behind her and just as she turned back, a broad chest appeared in front of her, and in the next second, she was instantly engulfed in a hug.
"B... Big brother, W... What are you doing?"
The girl stammered while her face was pressed on his chest preventing her from seeing anything. 'Argh! What is wrong with him? We're in the public for goodness sake.'
Clara felt like breaking down at any moment as her heart thumped rapidly. 'This is so awkward, really, really awkward.'

"Shit! David, tell them to turn it off." Zach cursed as his widened eyes darted to the huge display board.
The assistant was confused, however, he acted quickly and hurriedly sent a text again then turned to the flabbergasted guy. "But the plan__ Isn't Boss supposed to propose to her now?"
"David, we're in a very big trouble, shit! I'm out of here," Zach muttered rapidly and tugged at his necktie again before dashing past the reporters who were obviously not out of their shock yet, as they stared wildly at the huge display board.
"Wait!!!" David called out to the guy but he was already near the entrance of the hotel, even forgetting to take his car. By then, beads of sweat had started trickling down his forehead as he watched his boss who was still hugging the girl, then glanced at the huge display board and sighed in relief as the photos had already stopped playing.
'But the fireworks!!!' the assistant's eyes widened again and he started fiddling with his phone.

Meanwhile, Carl also sighed in relief as he glanced at the display board again. He glanced down at the girl whose head is still buried on his chest, then glanced at the entrance where his brother was running out and his expression darkened.
