She carefully closed the door then walked toward her and sat down on the bed. "Big Sis, Jack found you a really nice apartment... you're going to love it, and you're not going to be lonely, " She said softly while helping her fold some of the clothes.
"Huh?... Oh, that's great." Clara nodded with a chuckle then closed the luggage. She hurried toward the mirror then asked, "Lily, how's Mum and Dad doing?" Remembering that she had fallen asleep by the time they returned from the province last night.
"They're doing fine Big Sis... They miss you a lot," The girl softly replied and sighed inside after remembering what Jack had told her about his mother.
"Big Sis, did Jack's parents really say that you look like their late relative?" She asked softly.
Clara turned back from the mirror and slowly nodded with a sigh. "That's incredible right?" She chuckled, thinking back to the looks on their faces. "But I'm confused, Jack never mentioned that to me."
"Oh, he said that he had never seen her and he was still young when she died, " Lily replied calmly then stood up from the bed and started dragging the luggage.
"Oh." Clara slowly nodded in realization then picked up her handbag from the bed. She sighed inside, remembering the pitiful woman, then followed her sister out of the room.
When they walked out of the house, Jack was already waiting outside his car and he took the luggage then dropped it inside the car's trunk.
After they all entered the car, he started driving out of the silent neighborhood and Clara glanced out of the window at the swing and a small smile appeared on her lips.
An hour later, they arrived at a very beautiful residential area, that has a gate at the entrance and Clara marveled at how tight the security was.
"Wow." She looked out of the window and glanced at her sister who had been watching her all along with a small smile.
"Big Sis, do you like it," Lily inquired softly after glancing at Jack who also had on a smile.
Clara nodded with a huge smile then turned back her attention outside the window. "It's very beautiful," She muttered in a whisper as they passed by the security gates.
Her eyes lingered on the colorful flowers that were lined up side by side and she could also spot the moderate apartments from a distance.
They were built separately in modern European style with a small white fence surrounding each, and have a little distance between them.
Compared to her old bustling apartment, this estate seems a little bit boring, because of the silence of the area. Only a few little kids were playing around and chasing each other. Wait Kids__ her eyes slowly narrowed on the kids and she was snapped out of her thoughts by Jack's voice.
"This place is also close to where you work," Jack said with a small smile while glancing at her through the rearview mirror.
"Hehe... Yeah." Clara nodded with a soft smile. She had also noticed that, because they drove past the company, just ten minutes ago.
The car soon came to a stop in front of her new apartment and they walked out, then Jack started to bring out her luggage as some of her things had already been delivered earlier.
Clara's eyes darted to the children again who were playing at a far distance, then she heard a soft chuckle behind her and turned to face her sister.
"It's them," Lily muttered with a slight smile and watched as her sister's eyes instantly widened in excitement then she rushed toward the kids.
Jack also chuckled and glanced at the girl who had already reached the kids' side. He shook his head and entered the apartment with the luggage while Lily followed him with her sister's bag.
"Babies!" Clara exclaimed cheerfully as she wrapped the twins in a hug.
The kids who had not expected to suddenly see her were baffled for a moment before breaking into giggles.
"Mummy."
"Mummy."
The twins exclaimed in their cute voices and they both kissed her cheeks.
"Mummy, are you here to visit us," Little Lea inquired excitedly as Clara stood up with them in her arms.
Clara slowly shook her head with a soft laugh. "No, babies... Mummy will be staying here from now on..." She replied happily then turned around and started walking toward her new apartment.
"Where's your Mama," she asked and the twins pointed to an apartment that was not very far from hers and she chuckled again.
So that was the reason why her sister had said she wasn't going to be lonely. 'Hehehe.'
When she reached her apartment, the door suddenly opened and both Jack and Lily walked out of it with wide smiles.
They quickly bid her goodbye and left as Lily had to prepare for her school which would commence on the day after tomorrow.
Clara walked inside her apartment with the twins still in her arms and couldn't wipe off the smiles on their faces.
She settled them on the couch then her eyes glanced around the living room and she beamed.
This place is far bigger and nicer than her old apartment and she noticed that all the furniture were new including the plasma TV on the wall.
She sighed inside, knowing that they were all bought by Jack and even this expensive-looking place__
'I need to start making more money as soon as possible if want to continue living among rich people.' She promised with a look of determination.
She couldn't afford to leech off her friends every time.
"Mummy?"
One of the kid's voice broke her out of her thoughts as both girls stared at her with small frowns.
"Awwwn, my babies are so adorable," Clara exclaimed while watching their cute expressions and the twins giggled.
She hurriedly sat down between the kids then wrapped each arm around them. "Babies__"
She didn't get to finish her word when the doorbell suddenly rang and her eyes lit up. "I think it's your Mama," she muttered to the twins then stood up and hurried toward the door.
