Freya left his arm with a soft smile and watched as he retrieved the phone from his pocket then answered the call.
" Hello, " he muttered into the phone after placing it on his ears then silently listened to his assistant's voice from the other end.
" Okay, " he said with a nod then hung up the call and turned to the girl who was silently waiting beside him.
" Let's go." He started walking out of the garden and Freya followed behind him.
They stopped by many guests who offered them words of congratulations and Jack spotted his assistant who was striding toward them with a wide smile.
He greeted them cheerfully and also offered his word of congratulations and Freya nodded a reply with a soft smile then walked to the side, a little distance from them, to give them space for discussion.

" Clara, I'm speaking the truth. you just have to look into their eyes... I know those looks so well, " Mira whispered as they walked slowly around the mansion while she glanced at Lily.
" Mira?" Clara sighed for the umpteenth time and wondered why her friend was being paranoid. " Lily told me that there's nothing going on between them, " she whispered back and also glanced at her sister who was walking quietly and admiring the huge water fountain.
They suddenly paused in their footsteps as several servants rushed past them while muttering some words and they caught some of their conversations.
"Do you mean the head maid fainted again?"
" Yes... I think it's still about the ghost thing. "
" But she was standing here just a while ago."
Mira frowned and turned to Clara who was also staring at her in confusion.
" Is there a ghost in this house?" Mira asked while her widened eyes darted around anxiously.
" Isn't that what the servants are speaking about?" Clara stammered as her widened eyes also darted around fearfully then she instinctively grabbed her sister and held her hand tightly.
" Big Sis?." Lily gasped then sighed exasperatedly while staring at her sister helplessly.
She slowly freed her hand from the tight grip then her eyes darted to the far end of the mansion and she stilled.
" Hey Lily, what's wrong?" Clara called out with a frown while her gaze followed the girl's sight and she gasped slightly then stepped toward Mira.
"Mira look... I can't believe this, " she whispered in her friend's ears while pointing to the direction her sister was staring at in a trance and Mira smirked then gave her a ' Did I not tell you'? look.

Meanwhile, Jack's assistant was busily explaining some things to his boss and would glance now and then at his grim expression.
After a while, he heaved a deep sigh, then glanced at Freya who was silently waiting at a far corner.
" Sir, this engagement..." He changed the topic while studying his boss's expression and sighed again.
Jack also sighed and stared at his assistant. " Eric I didn't __" he paused mid-sentence as his eyes instinctively glanced to his side.
His assistant frowned and followed his gaze then his eyes widened slightly.
" Hey, Jack."
" Hi, Jack."
Both Clara and Mira called out at the same time as they skipped toward them.
" Oh, Hi girls... Taking a stroll?" He asked with a small smile and they both nodded.
" Jack, thank you for those dresses, they're really beautiful, " Clara said cheerfully as they stopped in front of him then she turned to his assistant and muttered a " Hi." with a wide smile.
Jack stared at her with a chuckle and wondered why she was suddenly not feeling awkward which made him sigh in relief.
His eyes darted again to the girl who was staring silently from a distance and he sighed inside then looked down.
" Tsk tsk tsk... You're so hopeless Jack... Really really hopeless." Mira shook her head with a chuckle then slightly nudged Clara who also chuckled softly and glanced back at her sister.
Jack snapped out of his trance and gave her a glare which earned him another chuckle from her.
He turned to his assistant whose eyes were fixed on Clara in astonishment and another sigh escaped his lips.
" Brother? Are they your friends from City M, " Freya asked with a soft smile while walking toward him then stood by his side and held his arm.
" Yeah..., this is Clara, Mira and that's... Lily__" he glanced at the girl who was now walking away then he quickly looked away.
"Oh." Freya nodded then turned to Mira and Clara with a soft smile.
" Nice to meet you... I'm Freya." She shook their hands and the girls nodded with half-smiles then she glanced toward where Jack was looking.
" Hello Lily, nice to meet you. " she walked toward the girl with huge glasses and also shook her hand.
" Nice to meet you too, " Lily replied softly with a smile and glanced down at the red rose in the girl's hand then sighed inside.
" Big Sis, I'll be going inside..." She glanced at her sister then muttered softly and walked away after glancing at Jack.
" Oh, okay..." Clara nodded then heard her friend's soft laugh.
" Uhm..., Eric let's go inside and discuss. Clara, Mira, I'm so sorry I'm very busy now... If you need anything, please give me a call, " Jack said hurriedly and walked away with his assistant.
Freya glanced at the girls who she couldn't discern their expressions. She bid them goodbye with a soft smile and started walking in the direction the guys had just taken.
" Hehehe, see? Finally believed me now?" Mira chuckled then splayed one hand across her friend's shoulders who couldn't close her mouth.
Clara broke out of her shock and slowly nodded then turned to her. " Mira, how did you know, " she asked in astonishment and Mira rolled her eyes.
" It was so obvious Clara, I can't believe you. " she shook her head and sighed.
" Huh?" Clara gazed at her confusedly then shrugged. She was about to say something when two maids suddenly rushed past them while muttering some words among themselves.
