Her attention turned to Jack who still had a frown on his face and she suddenly felt embarrassed. After listening to his voice that night, they hadn't seen each other face to face__ ' Argh! this is so awkward.'
Jack chuckled then shook his head. " I've left the invitations with__ " he turned back and realized that Lily had already gone back to the room.
He sighed inside then turned back to Clara again. " It is for you and Mira... I'll send one through my assistant tomorrow__ for Lily, " he said with a small smile then opened the door and walked out.
" Oh... Bye then..." Clara trailed off and wondered why he was in a hurry. She sighed inside then sauntered toward the living room and spotted two cards on the couch.
Sitting down, she picked them up and stared at them for a long time. Jack is going into a loveless marriage... She sighed again then stood up and walked inside the bedroom after glancing at the kitchen where her sister had entered.

__ The Next Day__
" Get out." Carl turned to his brother who had been babbling incessantly since they left the house and sighed inside.
Zach's eyes widened and he looked out of the car's window toward the bustling street and the many cars passing by__ But how can he keep quiet if he couldn't satisfy his curiosity. ' Hehe, he'll just ask sister-in-law when we reach her apartment.'
He chuckled and heaved a deep sigh then glanced at his brother through the rearview mirror while driving happily.
Carl glanced at his brother's mischievous grin and sighed inside. Now he regretted allowing him to kick his driver out.
The car sank into silence and they soon arrived at Clara's apartment building then Zach stopped the car and turned to his brother again.
" Big bro, let's go inside and give sister-in-law a surprise. She's going to love it. Hehehe," he said with a huge grin and Carl opened his eyes then nodded.
A small smile appeared on his lips and he opened the door then walked out.
Zach quickly parked the car in a corner then also got out of the car and hurried behind his brother..
" Big bro, do you know her room's number? " he asked as they walked up the stairs.
" Mm." Carl nodded with a small smile which was barely noticeable then suddenly paused in his footsteps and his expression changed.
Zach also paused and his mouth hung open. " You... W..What are you doing in this place.?"
Matt rolled his eyes and scoffed then walked past them.
" Big bro, isn't he supposed to be__"
" Let's go," Carl replied coldly and continued walking up the stairs and Zach also followed him after glancing at the guy's back warily.
They soon reached Clara's apartment door and Zach rang the doorbell hurriedly.
" Sister-in-law. . . " he trailed off as the door was opened by an unfamiliar person and his eyes darted between his brother and the girl with huge glasses.
" Brother-in-law, " Lily greeted with a soft smile and slowly opened the door wide after glancing at the guy who had on a flabbergasted expression.
" Big bro, is she sister-in-law's sister?" Zach asked with a brightened expression as they walked inside the apartment and Carl nodded.
" Big Sis is inside, lemme get her, " Lily said softly then walked inside the bedroom.
Zach turned to his brother as they sat down on the couch while his gaze followed her back. " Wow... She's so beautiful. . ." he trailed off after glancing at the bedroom's direction then stood up happily as Clara sauntered toward them, dressed in her office clothes.
" Sister-in-law, " he was about to hug her when Carl instantly pulled him back with a dark expression and he whined.
Clara chuckled while glancing between the two brothers then sat down beside Carl and hugged his arm. " Good Morning.."
" Morning... did you sleep well?" He replied softly and Clara nodded with a grin.
Carl stared at her face with a chuckle then slowly lowered his head and Clara gasped then her eyes darted to Zach whose eyes were fixed on them excitedly and had brought out his phone, then to Lily who was standing at a corner calmly.
Her cheeks heated up and she quickly pulled away then his kiss landed on her cheeks.
" Carl." Her eyes widened and she stood up with red cheeks then picked her bag and rushed out of the room and Carl chuckled again then also stood up and followed her.
" Hehehe... now this is for a keep." Zach saved the picture on his phone with a grin then excitedly turned to Lily.
" Hehe.. Little Angel, what's your name?. " he gave her his signature smile and hoped he could fish some information out of her.
" My name is Lily, " she softly replied while staring at him calmly.
Zach's smile faltered a little and he shifted from her intense gaze. " Hehehe... So__"
" I can't tell you anything," she said softly with a small smile and Zach's eyes widened and he stood up with a jerk.
" H..How did you know that I was about to__" He didn't finish his sentence as the girl chuckled softly
Wasn't it obvious from his expression? She shook her head and calmly picked up the books that were on the table then walked inside the bedroom.
Zach finally closed his mouth as she disappeared out of his sight.
" She's so scary." He stared in the bedroom's direction warily and quickly stood up then also left the apartment.

Outside, Carl opened the car's door for Clara with a small smile and after she entered, walked to the driver's side and started driving.
" Big bro!, wait...." Zach ran out of the apartment building and shouted after the car then sighed exasperatedly and took out his phone which had started ringing.
He answered the call and in the next second, his head darted to the direction his brother's car had just taken with dilated pupils and he quickly stopped a taxi.

" Carl, I want to stop at the department first, " Clara said and turned to him after they arrived at the company. She needed to thank Derek for the gift.
