Lara shook her head and sighed. Then told her about her plan to move out.
" W..what?" Clara gasped and her gaze turned back to the twins that were now chatting happily with her sister. She turned back to Lara with slumped shoulders and sighed.
" I'll leave them with you for the weekend if you want... their school will start next week... Until then, I'll be searching for a new place, " Lara said softly and Clara's expression instantly brightened.
" That would be great. Thank you." She grinned and turned back to look at the twins again. At least, she would get to spend some time with her babies.
Lara chuckled and shook her head. " No, I should thank you, Clara... I'm very grateful to you... For taking care of the twins." she smiled at her gratefully then added after some seconds. " Did Jack tell you about his engagement?"
" Huh? Jack is getting married!?" Clara exclaimed with widened eyes. This was news to her, during their phone call, Jack had not told her anything about his engagement. She was still in her thoughts when a gasp was heard from behind and something the sound of something falling on the ground then their heads snapped to Lily.
Lily hurriedly picked her phone from the floor with trembling hands and smiled awkwardly at the four people staring back at her in confusion.
She quickly stood up and muttered an excuse then walked out of the ward.
" Is something wrong with her?" Lara's gaze turned to Clara with knitted brows and she asked softly.
" Huh? I don't know." Clara shook her head and glanced at the closed door again.
Lara sighed and looked between the door and Clara then nodded and said, " You should go to the engagement... Okay?"
Clara slowly nodded and sighed inside. She had to go__ for Jack. But then, it's in another city. " When is it?"
" Next week, " Lara replied then got down from the bed after some seconds and walked toward the bathroom.
Clara took out her phone and heaved another sigh then dialed his number. The call went through immediately and she sighed in relief.
" Hello..." She muttered softly then came Jack's voice from the other end.
" Hey, Clara, what's up." His voice sounded low from the other end and she bit her lips.
" Jack about your engagement__"
" Oh yes, I should have informed you... heard it from Lara right?"
" Jack..."
" I'm still in the city__ will bring you the invitation cards tomorrow."
" Oh, okay." Clara nodded slowly then heard the beeping sound from the other end. She sighed helplessly.
She stood up and walked toward the couch where the twins were playing then sat down between them.
" Mommy, is uncle getting married, " Little Lea asked and the other twin also stared at her eagerly.
Clara chuckled and nodded her head.
" We want to go with you." And now it was Mia that talked and the other twin nodded eagerly.
" You have school to attended babies... Now don't pester your Auntie." Lara emerged from the bathroom and sat back down on the bed.
" Yes, babies... Mommy will be sad if you miss school, " Clara added and the kids slowly nodded a reply then continued playing.
Clara chuckled then her eyes darted to the door and she wondered what her sister was doing outside.
She stood up and was about to head toward the door when it suddenly opened and Lily walked inside.
" Lily, are you alright, " she asked with knitted brows and Lily nodded slowly.
" Yes..., I'm fine, " she replied softly then looked down and walked toward the couch.
They stayed all day in the hospital and when it was nighttime, they bid Lara goodbye and went back home with the twins.
When they reached the apartment, Clara glanced at her sister who had been quiet throughout the ride and sighed inside. She couldn't comprehend what the girl was thinking unless she opens up.
She walked to the living room where her sister was reading on the couch after putting the twins to bed then sat beside her.
" Lily, are you sure you're alright?" Clara asked with knitted brows and watched as the girl carefully closed her book then looked up at her with a small smile.
" Yes, I'm fine, " Lily replied while nodding slowly with a half-hearted smile then sighed inside.

Lucy happily skipped through the hallway with a snack box in hand then stopped at her door and was about to open it when__
" Where do you think you're going." Vivian raised an eyebrow and folded her hands in front of her.
Lucy gasped and jerked away from the door, wondering where she had suddenly appeared from. " Sis Viv... Aren't you sick, " she stammered while trying to hide the snacks behind her.
Vivian rolled her eyes and scoffed inside. She had to pretend to be sick in order to stop her father from coming yesterday and foiling her plans. She had to come up with something first.
Her thoughts snapped back to the girl in front of her and she instantly grabbed her hand.
" Sis Viv." Lucy gasped and tried to free her hand from the tight grip which was futile.
Vivian glared at her and snapped. " Follow me. I need to ask you something, " she said then started pulling her forward toward her room after snatching the snacks.
"Is it true that Big bro got back together with that girl?... Ehm, what is her name? Clara. Yes Clara. . . did they got back together?" She asked after entering her room, then made sure she locked the door behind.
Lucy sighed inside and glanced down. " I.. I don't know, Big bro didn't tell me anything. . ." she stammered, not daring to meet her gaze.
Vivian chuckled and sat down beside her then spread one hand across her shoulder. " Lucy, why don't we visit big brother's office next tomorrow?"
" Huh?" Lucy's heart thumped rapidly and her head jerked up with widened eyes. What if sister-in-law will be there? Who knew what she was up to.
