Vivian sighed inside and sneaked a peek at the man whose eyes had turned red with anger. " F..Father, he's very busy, that is why__"
" I'll go there next week and get everything over with." He cut her off again and walked away with a scoff.
She watched as he strode upstairs and another sigh escaped her lips. It was all that bitch's fault. After that day that Carl had suddenly left her in the resort, she had forced the information out of his assistant and found out that he had gone after that two-timing slut.
A cold gold glint flashed through her eyes and she stood up from the couch and started walking toward her room.
" Vivian, when did you return? How's your Auntie?" A middle-aged woman who looked a lot like her suddenly appeared from the kitchen's direction with a juice cup in hand.
Vivian looked down at her mother as she was a little bit taller than her then sighed and took the juice cup without answering her question.
" What is wrong? Vivian! what are you planning with your father again, " she asked in a hushed tone while her eyes darted upstairs.
Vivian yanked her hands off as the woman had suddenly grabbed her then sipped the juice and muttered, " It's nothing.. I'm off to my room." Then walked away.
" Wait, your grandfather is in the study room... Won't you go and see him?....." The woman trailed off as the girl did not even glance at her and walked toward her room.
She watched her back with a sigh and wondered when she would ever stay home for once.
Then glanced down at the empty juice cup and called the maids to prepare another one to take to the old man.

Vivian paced inside her room and sighed for the umpteenth time, trying to come up with another plan.
No, she couldn't let her father talk about the marriage so soon. She had to do something and get rid of that bitch first. But if her father mentions it, then there's only one option left.
She glanced out of her window and frowned slightly at the sight of the men standing outside who quickly walked away when they spotted her. They don't look like the bodyguards even though they were dressed in all black.
' Why are they here?' She frowned then walked away from the window as she couldn't be bordered with whatever her ever so mysterious father was up to again.
She sat down on her bed and started devising another plan while her expression turned calm.

__ At The Basement __
Zach hurried behind his brother who was walking at a faster pace and sighed exasperatedly.

Carl's lips twitched slightly at the side as he waited for the door to be opened before walking out of the basement.
Zach knitted his brows and reconsidered his own question. But after the girl was revived from the coma, a chip was found in her brain which the other mobs had used to track and control her movements.
He hurried inside the car with his brother and started the engine. " Big bro, Mira told me that you and sister-in-law are back together.. Hehe, is it true?" He glanced toward the backseat and noticed a small smile appeared on his brother's face.
" Mm, " Carl replied and took out his phone.
Zach's eyes lit up and he decided to probe further, seeing that his brother is in a good mood. " So Big bro, how did you find out the truth? Did you finally get the original reports from the hospital.?
" No, " he replied curtly while his attention was still on his phone.
" Huh?" Zach frowned as he drove them out of the forest. " Then how did you find out...?"
" Her sister showed me.."
" Sister-in-law has a sister..?"

" How did she know,? what did she tell you?"

Carl sighed as his attention was now completely diverted from his phone. He glanced out of the window while they neared the city and a small smile appeared on his lips.

Jack stared at the sky which had begun to turn dark outside the window and looked down at his phone that had just stopped ringing.
" Jack, what is wrong?" Lara stared at him with a small smile and glanced toward the twins who were now sleeping on the couch.
Jack turned to her with a chuckle and shook his head. " How're you feeling now, " he asked while staring at the bandage on her forehead.
" It's just a small wound... It would heal in a few days, " Lara replied, her gaze still fixed on the smile that didn't reach his eyes. She sighed then lay down on the hospital bed.
" Jack, thank you..., " she said after a while and Jack sat down on the couch facing her.
" It's nothing, Lara.... You need to be careful next time. Do you know those people?" He asked with knitted brows.
Lara shook her head and sighed again. " I don't know them, Jack. But they tried to take the twins. . . I'm also confused." Her eyes darted to her babies again and she bit her lips while her thoughts drifted to how the three strange-looking men had suddenly appeared in front of her while she was bringing the kids back from school. It was fortunate that she was fast enough to grab the attention of people and also call the police while running.
Jack sighed again and also glanced at the twins. He turned back to Lara and softly muttered, " So are you planning to leave that place?"
