Chapter 69 - Infuriating the protagonist

Wang Jian carried Han Xifeng's limp body as he flew towards a nearby lake, the wind whipping through his hair. When they arrived, he tossed her into the cool water and watched as she flailed about helplessly.

After a few moments, he dived in and pulled her back to the surface.

Han Xifeng lay there, coughing and gasping for air. Wang Jian watched her with a cold expression before finally tossing a dress at her.

"Get up and wear these clothes," he ordered her callously.

"I... I don't have any strength left," Han Xifeng responded weakly.

"I don't care," Wang Jian replied coldly. "You're lucky I even bothered to clean you up. Now get dressed, and let's go."

Han Xifeng managed to stand up, though her legs felt like jelly. She trembled with exhaustion and shame, feeling violated and humiliated.
