After the Tourney ended, it was announced that Daemon Targaryen would marry Lyanna Stark. The Northern Lady had never seen so many people in a banquet before, she knew she would marry in front of the Seven, but she wanted to marry in front of the Old Gods. And so did her entire family; her father had brought it up to King Jaehaerys, and the old king approved her marrying in front of the Weirwood Tree in King's Landing.
The night before the marriage, Lyanna had visited the place. She felt calm. The calming atmosphere was not something that could be felt in any other place. The God's Wood of King's Landing wasn't as big as the one in Winterfell, but she wouldn't complain.
Princess Gael told her that she had visited the place once or twice, but since she follows the Seven, she never really cared. From what Lyanna heard, The Septon had tried to get the Weirwood tree burned many times, but their request would be denied, even if no one in King's Landing followed the Old Gods.
Lyanna couldn't wait for the day she married Daemon. She had known him for over a month now, and she wanted to be his wife and for him to be her husband. Due to the Northern traditions, Lyanna had stopped herself from sleeping with him many times now, but once she married, no one could stop them.
When the discussion started about where they would live, Lyanna suggested living in The North. Her father would happily build a castle for them. Daemon had said that he could work and eventually build a castle for them and their future children near the Red Mountains. He had explained that he could save money and eventually build the castle, which would be near the borders of Storm's End and The Reach. And it could be a key point for traders, and the lands there were said to be beautiful and grow everything.
It could work as a place for trade between King's Landing, and perhaps the land itself could offer them minerals, maybe even Gold. Once hearing about his plan to build a castle, Benjen Stark wasn't really fond of the idea but reluctantly agreed. His only reason was that Lyanna would eventually live too far away from The North. But he figured his daughter could visit them with Prince Daemon's Dragon.
"Daemon. I heard you wanted to build a castle in the Dornish Marches?" Prince Baelon asked, but more like stating a fact, eyeing his son up and down. Lyanna bowed her head to the crown prince, but he quickly told her that it was fine.
Daemon let out a long sigh before nodding. No point in hiding it. "I will support you Financially." Baelon quickly said, with a serious face. His son could tell his father had a ghost of a smile on his face.
'And there it is,' Daemon thought. He didn't want his father's help. "Father, I really appreciate it, but I don't need-" "I know you don't need my help Daemon. You're a grown man, but think of your future children." His father interrupted, his eyes flickered at Lyanna before turning to look at Daemon again.
Daemon let out a sigh in frustration, knowing his father had a point, but he really didn't want his help. "You will marry, and if gods are good, you and Lady Lyanna will be blessed with children. I don't want my grandchildren not to know where their home is. I will help you to build this Castle." Prince Baelon added with a tone that left no room for arguments, looking at his son sharply.
Daemon's hand went through his hair in frustration before nodding. He knew there was no point in trying to change his mind. Baelon smiled, his hand resting on his son's shoulder, Lyanna thought Prince Baelon was about to hug Daemon, but his son moved his hand away.
Baelon looked a little dejected before he asked his son. "Have you thought of a name?" Daemon simply turned to look at Lyanna.
"Summerhall."
Baelon furrowed a brow before smiling. "Good name, my lady, then it's settled. Once the castle is built, Daemon Targaryen and Lyanna Stark will be the Lord and Lady of Summerhall." He clapped his hand with a bright smile.
Once that was done, Daemon explained a few more things they needed. Eventually, Baelon brought up the Dragon Pit. Daemon told him for now. His dragon could stay in a cave near Summerhall since he had visited the place before.
Later
"Have you ever been to The Wall, Daemon?" Lyanna idly asked.
"No. I never thought of joining the Night's Watch, and I doubt Caraxes is fond of the cold." Daemon said with a little shrug. They were both resting in God's Wood of King's Landing.
"I always wanted to see what's beyond the wall. I was there once with my father and brothers. Do you think we can fly there with Caraxes?" Lyanna asked with a child-like wonder in her eyes, looking up at Daemon, who shook his head.
"Why not?" Lyanna asked. It would be very easy for a Dragon to just fly over the wall. It might be two hundred meters tall, but a Dragon could easily fly much higher.
"Dragons can't fly beyond the wall," Daemon told her, turning to look at Lyanna, who was confused.
"Have you heard that once Queen Alysanne visited the Wall?" Lyanna simply nodded. Everyone in the North knew about it.
"While there, she told Silverwing to fly over the wall, but the Dragon didn't listen to her. Silverwing has been her dragon for decades now, and she has never disobeyed her, except for flying over the wall."
"Why?" Lyanna asked, wondering why a Dragon would refuse to fly over the wall. Perhaps the tales of White Walkers are not stories to scare children. She thought.
"I don't know, but it doesn't matter," Daemon said. He was never into prophecies, like some from his blood were. He never believed in them.
Eventually, the day came for her to marry her Dragon Prince.
When she arrived before the Weirwood tree, Prince Baelon asked, "Who comes before the Old Gods this night?"
"Lyanna, of the House Stark, comes here to be wed. A woman grown, trueborn, and noble. She comes to beg the blessing of the Gods. Who comes to claim her?" responded her brother Rickon Stark, the one who would give away the bride.
"Daemon of House Targaryen. Who gives her?"
"Gael, of House Targaryen, daughter of King Jaehaerys of House Targaryen and Queen Alysanne of House Targaryen."
"Lady Lyanna, do you take this man?" asked Prince Baelon.
She didn't respond immediately as if she was mesmerized, but after a few heartbeats later, she replied, loud enough to be echoed through the Godswood, "I take this man."
Then they joined hands and kneeled before the Weirwoodtree, starting to swear their oaths to the gods. He thanked them for his wife and swore again that he would never break their union, no matter what happened.
When they got up, Daemon removed the maiden's clock of House Stark and put the bride's clock of House Targaryen. Then they kissed each other chastely on their lips to seal the marriage.
"A chamber inside Maegor's fort had been prepared, Daemon. One of those that is never used and the king never visits," his aunt said, smiling, stepping next to them, and he immediately hugged her tightly.
"Daemon," she chuckled, but he said nothing, hugging her. "Lyanna is a lucky woman."
He nodded, kissing her cheek and turning towards his new wife, holding his hand, and she, smiling, took it.
One Week Later
Lyanna smiled happily as she buried her face in a small bouquet of scarlet roses and inhaled their fresh, exquisitely delicate scent. They had just been brought in from the gardens, and she could still feel the cold drops of morning dew as they rolled off the delicate petals and onto her no less soft skin.
"Oh, my lady, please be careful," her maid exclaimed as her skilled hands wove Lyanna's long, dark hair into a rather simple but elegant coiffure. "It would be a disaster to cut your face on your wedding day."
"I will not cut myself," Lyanna replied with joyful pride as she handed one rich, scarlet blossom to the smiling maid. "This is the happiest day of my life, and it shall be perfect!"
In less than an hour, she would walk into the Great Sept of Baelor as Lyanna Stark and leave Lyanna Targaryen.
"The people of King's Landing have been waiting since yesterday night around the Great Sept of Baelor to catch a glimpse of the ceremony." the maid sighed, taking two rosebuds from the young mistress's hand and attaching them carefully to her hair. "Everyone yearns to see Prince Daemon wed the most beautiful lady in the realm. All the women in the Seven Kingdoms envy you, my lady."
Lyanna felt fluttering butterflies tickle her stomach as she thought of the man she loved.
Suddenly the air was filled with the loud, musical, joyful ringing of the city bells. The Prince had arrived at the sept and was waiting for his bride to follow.
Lyanna's heart leaped to her throat as she heard the faint sounds of her father's confident, unhurried approaching footsteps. Lord Benjen was coming to escort his daughter through the streets of King's Landing to the Great Sept of Baelor and give her away to the prince.
"All done, my lady," the maid said happily, letting go of Lyanna's hair and removing the piece of cloth that protected the wedding gown from her shoulders.
"Finally." Lyanna smiled as she got up and straightened out the folds of her dress.
"Oh, my lady, you look so beautiful!" the maid exclaimed, clapping her hands happily. "When the people see you, they will compose songs about the most beautiful princess the capital has ever seen, which will be sung for years to come!"
The door opened before Lyanna could reply, and her father came in, looking wonderfully elegant in his black leather doublet decorated with several pairs of silver Wolves.
"Are you ready?" he asked calmly, eyeing his daughter from head to toe.
"Yes, father," Lyanna answered happily, seeing a gleam of silent pride and approval in his warm, grey eyes.
"Come then." lord Benjen invited as he opened the door for her.
Lyanna took a deep breath and took a quick look at herself in the huge full–length mirror.
Her exquisite wedding gown, by tradition, was dark red and richly decorated with golden embroidery. The finest dornish silk clung to her body, emphasizing the tender ivory of her skin, bringing out the deep shining grey of her eyes and showing off her shapely figure perfectly. Her thick, flowing, dark hair came down below her shoulders in neat locks and waves intertwined with beautiful red roses.
The Great Sept of Baelor was drowning in light and colors and sounded as Lyanna walked down the long staircase and across the floor on her father's arm. Their slow, dignified motion was accompanied by delighted looks and sighs of rapture from every corner of the enormous building, packed to the brim with lords and noblemen of the seven kingdoms and their ladies.
Members of the King's Guard saluted her as she approached the stairs to the altar.
"My, don't you look lovely," her bridegroom said with a broad jolly smile on his face as he held out his arm to greet her.
"Thank you, my lord," Lyanna answered breathlessly, looking completely mesmerized by the man standing before her.
"You may now cloak the bride and bring her under your protection," came the voice of the High Septon, and Lyanna smiled as she felt Daemon wrap his yellow cloak around her shoulders. It was long and rather heavy and decorated with a three-headed dragon.
My new sigil, Lyanna thought with a hint of amazement.
"We stand here in the sight of the Seven to witness the union of man and wife," the High Septon continued. "One flesh, one heart, one soul. Now and forever."
"In the sight of the seven, I at this moment seal these two souls, binding them as one for eternity," the Septon said, tying a yellow silk ribbon around their joined hands. "Look upon one another and say the words."
"Father, Smith, Warrior, Mother, Maiden, Crone, Stranger," Lyanna uttered, "I am his, and he is mine. From this day until the end of my days".
They kissed and sealed the marriage. The Audience applauded for the new couple.
She and Prince Daemon sat at the main high table in the main room of the red keep; she kept a smile on her face. Some would call her the happiest woman in the world right now. But she couldn't wait until the feast ended. She never really liked feasts. She would much more enjoy a simple dinner with only the members of her and Daemon's family.
Throughout the entire feast, she and Daemon would occasionally talk with one another, and Viserys and Gael would often join them, asking about how they felt now that they were officially Husband and Wife in the eyes of the Seven. Soon Rickon and Bennard came to talk to her. Lyanna was happy that her Brothers came to talk with her a little.
She noticed that whenever Gael wasn't talking with her or Daemon, she would talk with her brother, Rickon.
The feast soon ended, and ladies and lords were eager to have their hands on her in the bedding ceremony.
Daemon glared furiously at all of them for even thinking that his hand went to the pommel of his sword, and for a moment, Lyanna thought he would cut someone down when the king ordered that the ceremony wouldn't be held. Instead, Prince Daemon and Princess Lyanna would walk on their own to their bed chamber. Baelon was clearly relieved that his father had stopped the carnage.
As they walked to the bedchamber. Ladies whispering to her that she was lucky to be married to someone as handsome as Daemon.
Lords were telling Daemon the same but in a much rudder way. She couldn't believe what kind of words some men say about their wives.
Soon she reached the bedchamber; she turned around to see Daemon was already stripped of his upper clothes; his impressive chest was a sight; Lyanna couldn't lie to herself.
Daemon said nothing as Lyanna seductively moved her hips and walked toward their bed.
They found themselves inside the chamber that was ready for their wedding night, full of candles to make the moments sweet and perfect, with roses smell that was on the floors and heard his aunt say, "Try not to be too loud. You wouldn't want to draw the king's attention, right?"
With those words, Gael left, smirking, closing the door behind as Daemon locked it, wrapping his arms around her waist, and pulling her towards him before starting to kiss her, no longer in a hungrily way, but slowly with love and a little bit of passion, while still keeping the dragon fire at bay.
She turned in his embrace, wrapping her arms around him; however, when he tried to take her up in his arms in order to carry her to the bed, Lyanna stopped, sinking down to her knees, and giggling started to fold with his breeches.
"Lyanna-"
"Shhh..." she shushed him, pulling down his breeches, and his cock popped out, almost hitting her face. "I heard the Lyseni are known for knowing how to make love...For tonight, let me be your Lyseni whore...husband," Lyanna added, grinning, with lust-filled eyes, running her hands up his thighs, and at hearing those words, his cock twitched.
Wrapping her slender hands around his pulsing length, Lyanna started to stroke him slowly, making him gasp and release an almost long, slow hiss at the same time. The moment she passed the tongue quickly over the tip, Daemon released a groan, arching his back and almost bending forward, "Lyanna..."
He opened his eyes in time to see her run her tongue from balls to the sip a few times before he felt her lips parting on top of his cock and taking the tip inside her warm and welcoming mouth.
'By the Valyrian Gods!' He swore, as he tried his best not to thrust deeper, the moment her tongue flicked around the tip.
"Lyanna..." he groaned her name as she started to move her head, taking him deeper and deeper, moaning around his cock, as he placed his hand on her head. "Lyanna...I..." but she increased the speed of her movement before stopping and pulling out to stork him a few times.
Daemon was groaning loudly, feeling the build of his climax, and then she suddenly stopped, taking her hand off his cock, and he groaned again, but this time in frustration, and saw her get up, saying, "I can't get pregnant if you spill your seed in my mouth, husband."
And turning on her heels, smirking, Lyanna started to walk towards her bed, one foot after the other, swinging her hips in a sensual and provocative way while opening her dress and letting it fall to the ground, leaving her naked as her name's day.
Climbing on the bed, Lyanna went all four splitting her legs and giving him the perfect view of her soaked pussy and making his cock twitch. Brushing her fingers over her slit, Lyanna said, smirking, "Come, husband. I'm already wet and ready for you."
His feet led him to her on their own, only stopping at the foot of the bed, where she was waiting for him. He touches her ass, going downwards, before stopping and brushing his thumb over the slit of her cunt.
"Daemon...." she moaned as he smirked, giving a light slap to her ass, making her moan again. Climbing on the bed behind her, too, at least as much as there was room for him, Daemon took his cock in hand while resting on one knee and brought it to her entrance, teasing it a few times with the tip of his member, and coating himself with her wetness, while keeping her in place with the other hand while she moaned. "Daemon...I need...you...NOW!"
And he, grinning and without hesitation, pushed all his member inside her, loving the feeling of her tightness around his hard shaft, and making Lyanna gasp, arch her back, and throw the head back.
He begins slowly, moving his hips, giving a few shallow thrusts, and running his hands along her body, cupping and groping her breasts, as he moaned with sealed lip and closed eyes, but soon, not bearing this pace, he increased it, slamming into her.
"Harder!" she moaningly demanded, and he obliged, increasing, even more, the pace of his thrust, digging his fingers into her hips before grabbing her shoulder and pulling her up against his chest while still plunder, and she holding herself against him with one hand, the other brought to her cunt, stroking herself.
For every thrust he gave for every beats of her heart he heard, and by the way, her walls were clenching around him, Daemon knew that she was about to come, and so, pushing her down, Daemon started to slam in her wildly, pulling out his member till the head, before thrusting inside her again.
He went like this for a few more thrusts till he no longer could, and grabbing her hips, he slammed himself deep inside her, painting her walls with his seed, before falling over her and hugging her to his chest.
"Lyanna," he whispered, receiving only a moan from her part, before pulling out and falling next to her, panting and placing one arm under his head. The entire night they made love until they no longer had the stamina to keep going.
Nine Months Later
Another stab of pain wracked Lyanna's body, and she cried out, clutching her abdomen in agony. The room was too cold, cold, and dry, but Lyanna was covered in sweat, her face unnaturally flushed, her head swimming with fever. The midwife that knelt between Lyanna's legs chewed her lip nervously but said nothing. A handmaid held her hand tightly, steading Lyanna as she squatted on shaking legs, but whispered prayers to unknown gods of rivers and turtles, making Lyanna's heartache for the simplicity of the Godswood.
"Not long now," the midwife said brusquely. Lyanna tried to ignore how the woman's eyes did not meet her own as the handmaid helped Lyanna back onto the bed.
Hearing that his wife was in labor, Daemon had wasted no time to find her. Hearing her scream had felt as if a dagger had stabbed his heart. His hand grasped hers, trying to support her.
"You're doing excellent, Lyanna. Just look at me." Daemon said, kneeling in front of her bed. Her hand squeezed his to the point that he felt a sharp pain suddenly spread from his hand.
He winced at the pain but did not comment as Lyanna screamed again. The handmaidens brought towels, and Daemon could do nothing but hear Lyanna scream.
"I'm scared, Daemon." Lyanna cried out as Daemon made her look at him, kissing her lips.
"Hey. I'm right here. I told you as long as I'm here, you will be Safe." Daemon reminded her, kissing the top of her hand, still feeling the sharp pain from his hand.
Lyanna nodded weakly, feeling another sharp pain curse through her body like a violent river.
After seven hours of screaming and standing by her side, many times Daemon feared that Lyanna would die, but eventually the screaming ended. Instead, Daemon and Lyanna heard the sound of a baby crying.
"It's a boy, my Prince." The Maester informed them, holding the crying baby on his arms. Daemon found the strength to stand up, as his son was covered in a towel, his face red; Daemon. At that moment, he saw his face, his eyes closed as he kept crying, but Daemon knew he was his son.
Daemon looked at him from up close. The baby was beautiful, so tiny, yet so precious. Daemon's vision blurred as he touched his cheeks, feeling something wet.
Am I crying? Daemon thought, feeling tears rolling down his cheeks. He didn't bother wiping them as their son was brought to Lyanna.
Her pale face brightened up like a fire as she smiled like never before in her life. "Hey, Sweetie." She spoke softly as her eyes looked at her son's crying face. "Our sweet Prince. You're simply Perfect." Lyanna said, kissing the top of his head tenderly. She couldn't stop crying.
Daemon saw his son finally open his eyes, rich purple eyes like me, Daemon thought, seeing his son look at Lyanna with a hint of ... Melancholy, his crying stopped before he smiled.
"He recognizes us," Lyanna said with great joy, feeling her heart stop a beat. Daemon grabbed him in his arms, looking down at the new Prince of House Targaryen.
"What will you name him?" The Maester asked as everyone waited for the Prince to say his name.
"Aenar of House Targaryen."
