"Do you know why we humans have language?" Kang Hua asked, lying on the grass near the edge of the training ground.
Deng Hai, sitting cross-legged nearby, didn't immediately respond.
Kang Hua continued, "Language is a tool for people to communicate with each other. Every country in the world, even primitive tribes, has their own language. It's the biggest difference between us humans and animals."
He shifted into a more comfortable position, soaking in the sun. "The ability to communicate and share information is what sets us apart and allows us to thrive as a species. Through communication, we can form groups, whether they are small like troops or villages, or large like nations."
Deng Hai finally spoke up, expressing his difficulty in getting along with others. "I just feel like I don't get along with them," he said.
Kang Hua turned his head to look at Deng Hai and asked, "Can't get along?"
