Empires are built in the shadows, said a man emerging out of one himself. So does evil, said Peter. You are a fool and always been, said Kasparov. He ate an apple himself and offered one to Peter. You never plucked one when you had the chance. I'am offering you a lot of money. Your family can live in peace and wealth, said Kasparov. And betray my country, asked Peter. Wake up Peter, said the evil man. We are not a country, we are an ideology, he said. This world is united by ideologies, not boundaries, said Kasparov. He sat down in his chair. Mine just happens to be American, he said. Capitalist pig, uttered Peter under his breath. Selling our most important asset to our enemy. That is unacceptable, said Peter. A couple of bodyguards emerged from the shadows. Your stupidity is unacceptable, said Kasparov. Beat him till he signs off the document, said Kasparov and threw the document to the bodyguard. Peter remained standing and did not budge. Get him out of my sight, said Kasparov and continued to eat his apple.
They put him in a dark room and tied him to a chair. One of the bodyguards lit a match and spoke" We are not going to hurt you, but we are not going to leave you from this room" he said. Young man! said Peter as they were about to leave the room. You think the darkness room is going to scare me? he asked. It normally does, said the bodyguard. Peter laughed. The bodyguard uttered under his breath. We said we are not going to hurt you, but he surely will. As they shut the door. A man with neon coloured mask came with a baseball bat the same colour. It was shining in the darkness. Peter was scared at the sight. He did it say a word but he was savaged. That was for certain. I will sign it, he said in an instant. The lights went on. The man opened the door and let the bodyguards in. That was quick! the bodyguards said to the man. He looked at them and spoke. No one is scared of darkness. But they are scared of the person who hunts people in the dark, he said and walked away.
They united him and gave him the document to sign. Peter signed it in such a hurry, and it looked like he had never been so scared in his life. You have never been in a war? old man. They asked him. I
Have, he replied. He was still shivering as he signed. Coward! they said. He looked straight into the eyes of them both. He did not speak another word. He just handed over the document to them and left.
