Hiroto ran to the training field he normally practices by ignoring the destroyed streets and buildings along the path.
Hiroto started striking the stump in the ground taking out his frustration on it ignoring his physical pain and his bleeding hands. Kakashi saw this but started to hesitate about what to say to make the younger kid stop his self-inflicting pain.
Kakashi decided to intervene when Hiroto takes it further and he did when the kid started to punch harder breaking his head which might be irreversible.
Hiroto saw someone hold his hand and saw Kakashi in his Anbu attire. Hiroto ignored the stump and started to attack Kakashi hysterically but the jonin either defended or deflected his attacks.
A few minutes later Hiroto started to pant because he didn't fully recover yet. "Why did you come here Kakashi? Did your Hokage-sama order you to guard me? Or are you here to monitor me if I will become a rogue shinobi taking away your human weapon ?" Hiroto ranted.
Kakashi tried to speak but his voice got stuck in his throat.
Hiroto further roared his indignation "You are a disgrace Kakashi !! My parents took you in as a family member and loved you as one of us. What did you do ?? Huh! What did you do ?? When the Hokage wanted to take away Naruto you didn't even bother to say anything. Are you even a human? Or is all of this a mission given to you by Hokage or Danzo to monitor us?"
Hiroto was punched in his gut very hard and was forced to be on his knees because of the blow. Hiroto spits some blood and stood up to see Kakashi but at this moment the white-haired boy's right eye could be mistaken for a sharingan. That's how angry the older kid is at that moment.
Hiroto didn't want to hear reasoning so he stood up and took a scroll from his storage seal, "Here this is the gift my dad wanted to give his student, do what you want with your life." he threw a scroll containing a seal for Kakashi's sharingan problem.
"This seal will allow you to use sharingan normally like an Uchiha clan member." Hiroto said and turned to leave but taking a few steps he stopped. "I will protect my friends and family with everything I have, even if I had to put my life at stake for them. Drown in your misery or if you want to change bring that seal to me." Hiroto left without looking back after saying these words.
Uchiha clan
Uchiha Mikoto is currently going through what can only be dubbed the worst days of her life. She had lost her best friend Kushina along with Minato another good friend of hers, she was friends with both of them since her academy days.
Mikoto was very angry at the Hokage and his council for refusing her to take her best friend's son in, distraught at the accusation they threw at her clan. "HOW DARE THEY !! HOW DARE THEY !! How dare they refuse me taking in Naruto ?? How dare they suspect the Uchiha clan of unleashing the Kyuubi?? How dare they refuse me to Kushina one last time before her funeral ??" Mikoto roared and if Fugaku hadn't refused to let go of her she might attack that damned council.
Fugaku managed to calm her down notifying her of the mayhem that will result or else she might remind them why Mangekyō Sharingan is feared. Fugaku that day explained everything he knew about Mangekyō Sharingan to his wife.
Itachi is oblivious to everything about the later version of the Sharingan conversation. Itachi felt very bad for his friend and he too felt very sad as he also knew them very well. The eldest son of the Uchiha patriarch knew that his best friend is his hospital he desperately wanted to see him and try to show his support in these dire moments but no one was allowed entry.
Itachi these few days noticed the tension in his house and he can only help his parents by looking after his brother. Itachi was informed by his parents of how they were hitting a roadblock but wasn't informed of the finer details. Itachi was broken out of these thoughts by his brother's cry so he picked little Sasuke up trying to coax him.
Kakashi's bad days continued each word of Hiroto felt like a blow to his heart. Kakashi moved to his home absentmindedly. The white-haired jonin came to an empty home at this moment he didn't know who to share his burden with, who he can hug to alleviate his sadness.
At this time Kakashi saw his father's photo on the wall, and he walked to his father's room. Kakashi opened the door and took out his father's Konoha headband, jonin jacket, and Tanto which he stored away carefully.
Kakashi sat down next to the belongings of White Fang with tears streaming down imagining the latter. "Dad I'm truly lost. After you left" he said with a hiccup and shared all moments that transpired after Hatake Sakumo's left this world.
"I don't know what to do now or how to move forward Dad. Why did you leave me alone ?? If you are here then I would have had a hand to guide me" Kakashi voiced up all his bottled emotions and cried himself to sleep hugging the belongings of his father.
Next day Konoha graveyard
All the people are conducting burials of their loved ones. Kakashi arrived at his sensei's funeral and saw many of the clan heads along with Minato's close friend Ino-Shika-Cho clan heads, Teuchi and Ayame. Hiroto stood next to his parents' coffins and is supported by Itachi, Mikoto stood behind the kids with Fugaku supporting her sending off their extended family.
Lord Third took the Hokage position again and Jiraiya stood on the other side. Kakashi arrived near his sensei and paid his respects to the deceased couple, Ayame made her way towards Kakashi seeing him alone, and tried to console him but got a cold shoulder so she can only leave hoping Kakashi would be alright. Gai also tried to console his rival but got the same response.
Soon everyone was buried and many wailed about their loved one's death. Later Hokage addressed the crowd and soon slowly everyone took their leave. Kakashi spent some time near their graves and later visited his fallen friends, Hiroto's parents, and his father's graves.
Hiroto also similar to Kakashi visited his birth parents' graves along with Fugaku. Everyone made their way home after the sky darkened while Hiroto followed Itachi at the latter's parents' insistence.
