"Hello, father! Or, shall I say, Louis?!" I grinned while walking towards him
"Y-your making a big mistake you brat!" He yelled as he shakily pointed his sword at me
I sighed, " Your defenseless now. I think it's better to just give up." I raised an eyebrow
I swiftly dashed towards the right dodging his the blade and roughly flung off his sword and it spun landed across the marble floor making a clattering noise.
"Marius! Do you know what you're even doing?!" He jumped and stumbled backwards
I chuckled, "Of course old man!"
"Let me tell you a thing about me, I never do anything without a plan." I added with a smirk
"Well.. unless you're talking about that time I.." I paused
"Oh. Sorry, got a bit off track there.." I met his eyes again
"Any, last, words?!" I smiled as I gripped my sword firmer
"Marius Blackwoods. You Hell. Born. Child." He scowled
I grinned, "And raised by the devil himself!" I swung the sword across his throat
At an instant he dropped to the floor and grasped his neck but, of course it was to no use, he then looked up only to see a sword pointed directly at him.
Now all he could do was die slowly.

"Woah! That's a cool looking butterfly!" I pointed at a butterfly with a particular blue and yellowish design
"It is." Lionel calmly watched as the butterfly flew over his head.
We sat in silence for a while just admiring the beautiful scenery, slow rustling green leaves, a calming breeze, and the lake clearer than glass!
What a sight to behold~
"Man. This is really making me tired" I slowly laid down onto the grass
"Really?" Lionel asked
I nodded, "I might as well go to sleep right now! I was kinda up all night.." I yawned
"What were you doing last night?" He asked curiously
"Making a present for a friend~" I chuckled
"Haven't seen him in 2 years.. wonder how's he doing." I mindlessly gazed at the butterflies above me
"Can I ask who this person is..?" He stared at me
"Huh? Oh, his names Marius Blackwoods." I replied smiling
He sat in silence before turning away, "Are you two.. close?"
"Well, yeah! We've been friends since kids!" I laughed
He nodded and just stared at the calm water.
The atmosphere was so peaceful my eyes suddenly started to feel a bit heavy.
Before I could close my eyes, I quickly sat up.
Lionel jumped and whipped his head around to face me.
"Oh- sorry! I didn't mean to startle you.. I was kinda falling asleep so I, you know, sat up?" I gave a nervous grin
His face quickly relaxed, "Pft, I see." He laughed
Now a bit embarrassed I cupped my face with my hands, Lionel seeing this made him laugh even more.
"Hey! Stop laughing!" I whined with a face the color of a tomato
He patted my shoulder, "Sorry! Sorry! Your just so cute!" He chuckled
"Cute?! Come on! I am not cute! I'm handsome not goddamn cute!" I grabbed his shoulders and shook him with all my might
"Woah-" he squeezed his eyes shut
"Hey wait this actually feels kinda nice~" he smirked
"AGGHHH!" I gritted my teeth
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"Theo-! Slow down!" Lionel said worryingly
I quickly shoved down a chunk of strawberry cake down my throat before talking, "Yeah, yeah I got it!" I replied quickly
"Just don't choke!" He answered hastily
I quickly nodded before stuffing down another piece of strawberry cake into my mouth.
"Theo!!" Lionel quickly snatched the utensils out of my hands
"Hmn!" I said with a mouth full of cake
"Hey stop no touch! I'm going to start feeding you if you keep eating like that!" He frowned
I pouted, "Lionelll~" I whined after swallowing down the pervious piece of cake
"You going to choke!" He shook his head
"Eat smaller pieces. Like this!" He scooped up a small piece of the cake and held it in front of me
I frowned and snatched the cake with my mouth
"Good boy." He replied as he scooped up another piece
"I'll really kill you." I slammed my fist on the table
"Haha~ like to see you try." He grinned

A few minutes later a handful of guards started rushing in one by one surrounding me and the exits, which obviously annoyed me.
"Hey! Don't you think you came a little too late" I ticked and lifted the old man's head from his torn cotton cape
"He's killed the king!" One guard shouted
"What do we do?!" Another guard panicked
"Avenge the king!" the which seems to be the commander yelling
One after another they all started to charge.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Once the dirty work is over I carelessly wrapped up the beaten head of the king and started to move forward to the exit.
The remaining guards were now lined up to the side and all of them seem too afraid to even look at me!
I grinned
Before I open the door, I turned and pointed to one of the guards to my right.
"You. Follow me." I said sternly
He now realizing I was talking to him, he started to tremble.
I raised an eyebrow and coldly questioned , "Do I have to repeat what I said?"
"N-no sir.." he stumbled across the blood filled floors until he was standing behind me
I turned back to the door and headed out.
When I finally reached the town square, the people all around the town square turned and stared only to see a terrified looking young knight and the king's adopted son with a bloody red sack in his hands.
I walked up to the plat form and calmly spoke, "The citizens of Varrenyth may I have your attention."
I didn't even have to quiet the crowd and besides they seemed to already have their attention on me since I arrived at the town square.
"Many of you might be confused so I'll get straight to the point." My tone turning darker by the second
"Your current king can no longer rule this kingdom." I smiled
I could hear little whispers starting to form.
"Why you may ask?" I said as I lifted the rag
The crowd went silent, and I let go of the rag. In an instant the rag came undone and what was hidden beneath it, was a true nightmare.
The king's head, which was now extremely pale, landed with a horrifying loud crunch noise.
Everyone was stunned and frozen until one woman started to scream, another scream was followed after that, and another after that as well.
I stood still and placed a hand on my chest.
"From today and onwards!" I started to continue
"I shall rule over this kingdom! And hopefully, better than the last." I finished loud enough to overpower the voices of the panicked.
I sighed, "Go calm down the people I'm going back." I placed a hand on the guard's shoulder
"Oh and if you don't." I glared at him
"Your friends and family, won't ever see you again." I patted his shoulder
The guard shivered and quickly nodded before sprinting towards the crowd, satisfied I headed back to the palace.
'My' palace.
After arriving I was greeted by a maid who was hastily stumbling out of one of the hallways, she was startled when she met eyes with me.
I gave her a quick smile before gesturing her to come closer.
Once she was in front of me I could distinctly hear that her breathing was ragged and breathy.
"Ye-yes s-sir..?" She said forcefully
I stood silently for a moment before answering.
"It's not a small favor but could you clean this dirty place up? Oh and please inform the other maids too." I said stern yet softly
She calmed down at my tone rather quickly, she quickly gathered herself though still avoiding my eyes
"A-ah, bu-"
"Don't even think about running away. I find each and one of you and kill you myself." I interrupted
She hesitated but she still nodded to agree
"You may excuse yourself now." I smiled again
After that she quickly ran off back to the hallway she came from. Standing quietly in the middle of the doorway I can hear her footsteps slowly fade.
I slammed the door behind me shut and walked back to my old room.
I sat on the bed quietly and just thought for a bit.
"Theo.." I muttered
"I'll be able to see you soon" I chuckled a bit
————————————————————
Wow! Another super long day. I'm very worn out now..
I groaned as I dragged my legs back home.
I headed back to my house and knocked on the door.
"Theo! Hun you're back!" Mother smiled as she swung open the door
"Hey mom.." I said exhausted and leaning against the door frame
"Oh dear! You are really exhausted!" She hurriedly pulled me in
"You go take a quick shower, I'm almost done preparing dinner~" she pointed at the bathroom and quickly headed back to the kitchen
I pulled myself upstairs and opened the door to the bathroom. I shuffled my way in and turned on the water.
After a hot shower I felt a bit more energized so I headed downstairs.
"Aw man! Now he's back?" Stephen furrowed his eyebrows as he leaned back in his seat
"Huh?" I said confused
"He was going to eat your food." Beatrice said
"What? Hey! Don't eat my food!" I pointed him
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever!" He stuck out his tongue
I sighed and shook my head before letting the conversation go. I quickly took a seat and began to eat.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Ugh man that food was good! Mom is the best cook~
I smiled as I went upstairs to my room, but before I could go my mother stopped me.
"Oh, right Theo. You have a letter!" She quickly handed over the letter
"Ah! Thanks mom!" I smiled
She nodded before heading back downstairs
I entered my room while staring at the neat envelop.
I shut the door behind me and quickly took a seat at my desk and opened the letter.
"Dear Theo,
I know we haven't been in contact for a while, and I apologize for my slow replies. But I was wondering.. if you could perhaps visit me? I'll send you a ride if you would like to come! Just let me know, I hope to hear from you soon.
-Marius Blackwoods"
My eyes widened after realizing what the letter meant. I quickly grabbed a nearby piece of paper and started to write.
"Dear Marius,
I'm glad you want to see me! I'm also thrilled about seeing you as well! I think the best day for me to visit would be on the 25th. If you could send a ride for 9:00AM I'll be extremely greatful!
Hope to see you soon, Theo Evans"
I quickly finished and neatly prepared the envelope.
I'll deliver this tomorrow it seems like it's getting late so.
As I held his envelope I couldn't help but smile.
I honestly can't believe we're going to see each other again! I haven't seen him in.. one? No two years! Wow I hope I can sleep tonight with all this excitement~
I laughed.
