"Get some rest, a retainer will come retrieve you in the morning and the two houses have home spirits that will maintain them and provide your meals when you are there" Xander said as Lionel opened the carraige door with a bright smile.
"I wish the young masters a safe and fruitful journey." Lionel said with a slight bow as the two exited the carraige.
"Uh, thanks." Althea and Lucian replied wondering why the memory of this man seemed hazy.
They brushed it off as they continued into the gates of the property they were staying at.
As they walked away Lionel entered the carraige with the other elders and took a relaxed seat on the couch Lucian had occupied while Xander and Prometheus had both taken out seats of thier own.
"What do you think of them sir?" Adela asked in a polite tone once she saw Lionel take a seat.
"Well they're definitely more talented than you two at their age maybe even more talented than me… but they are soft and have no real fighting experience." Lionel said before letting out a large yawn.
"Well now that that's done I think it's time for you all to be on your way I have matters to attend to I will let you know when I have prepared my next trial." Lionel said as he waved his hand dismissing all the elders present .
Hearing this everyone stood and bowed before they stepped out of the carriage. Aioleus had shrunk down to the size of a hand and had landed on Xanders head laying flat on his belly.
The last person left in the carraige was Prometheus who was intently looking at Lionel.
"Oh… do you want to try challenging me again? Maybe, next time I'm tired now it's not life or death is it?" Lionel asked with a disinterested look in his eye as he looked at the ancestor of the light family.
"Then I look forward to the next time we meet Master." Prometheus said before he joined the group of leaders from the light family.
"Truth be told, I'm only glad that monster was born into the light family." Aioleus said causing everyone to breathe a sigh of relief.
In the same moment the carriage began to turn around before the four stead blazed off into the distance as the ancestors of the light family disappeared in a flash of light.
By this time Lucian and Althea had made it to the arena platform between the two houses.
"How can you still want to fight didn't I have to save you in the forest a few hours ago?" Lucian asked his voice obviously annoyed.
"Fighting beast and humans is two different things, plus don't we have a score to settle we tied in the tournament." Althea responded in a prideful tone.
"You could hardly even call that a tie, you stood no chance!" Lucian refuted.
"Honestly it doesn't matter to me it just sounds like right now you are afraid." Althea said smugly.
Lucian just looked at her blankly before he burst into laughter. "Fine, fine, let's get this over with since you want me to beat you up so badly, I'll go easy since you're a delicate flower." He said in a condescending tone.
Without even giving him time to react Althea punched him in his jaw for his disrespect following it up with a knee to his stomach and flatly kicking him in the chest sending him onto the arena platform.
Lucian began coughing as he slowly got up, "Cheap move, I guess you couldn't handle the conversation you started." He said while he was recovering and taking a fighting stance.
"Enough talking." Althea said her posture of a teacher about to teach her student.
Immediately she disappeared from view as Lucian began to sense his surroundings with his spatial affinity.
Lucian was surprised that her presence was completly masked at this moment which was notable different from when they fought the panthers.
Suddenly Lucian dodged to the side as he felt something graze pst his cheek, he reached to grab it thinking it was Althea's fist and instead caught a leaf as he saw Althea materailizing in front of him while he was still in his catching movement.
Althea crouched down and launched her foot up towards Lucian's chin landing flushly sending him into the air a couple of meters before he crashed down unconscious.
'Now I should go before he gets mad again, serves him right for looking down on me.' Althea said as she ran into the house she had chosen before Lucian had a chance to use his dimensional technique.
