Like this Lucian was cornered between the large group of contestants. Lucian began to fade into the shadows of the brush and nearby forest ocassionally reappearing only to land swift blows immediately eliminating an enemy as he appeared.
"Wher-!" One of the male youths began to shout as he was struck hard in the back of the hear immediately knocking him unconscious.
Could they see Lucian they would see him completely covered in shadows, as he bounced between the trees like a pinball continuously being sprung around until finally he would coat his chain blade and slingshot himself for the added momentum.
He did these motions so swiftly it only took him a few seconds yo get to each youth.
After a little over a minute Lucian stopped and noticed no one was around him and the large battle group had dispersed.
'I guess that's a good start I counted 273 but I could be wrong'Lucian thought to himself as he began jumping through the trees with practiced haste once more.
'They are actually more impressive than I had expected… I guess that's expected from an ancient family.' He thought as he continued to move from branch to branch.
Again the sound of battle entered his ears this time it was also much louder as Lucien could hear the roars and clashing of weapons and gunfire as if a real battle was occurring ahead.
He quickly arrived to the cause of the commotion as he could wave on waves of youths attacking what looked like a united front of 3 youths.
He could see the white haired female youth, the dark skinned male that had chased him to the tunnel, and a youth that appeared to be the same age as him only his eyes looked haredened as if he were no stranger to the horrors of the world.
The 3 completely overwhelmed wave after wave of the other youths until they began moving about as if dancing to avoid the shots from the ranged and gun users that had joined the competition.
"Now this is what I came to see!" Lucian exclaimed loudly enough to take the attention af a decent portion of the battlefield still this group hadn't began pressing the 3 monsters out front and thought him to be friendly.
They watched as Lucian jumped high in the air in the direction of the crowd landing smack on another youths face with his shoe.
The commotion level rose immediately as everyone that watched rushed to attack Lucian,
"What the hell is your prob-.." one of the youths rushing Lucian screamed in imhis charge only to have the back end of Lucian's chain blade hit him in the throat.
Lucian began to swing the chain blade in a 360 circle around himself nocking out waves of enemies while injuring more.
He moved through the battlefield everytime the blade spun someone had been either swept into another fightor knocked out completly, ad the blade would occasionally slice an opponent or hook into them allowing him to throw them.
His moves were quick and efficient, so much so that the other youths couldn't find any openings.
Noticing the disruption in the crowd the three youths that seemed to be cornered split up forming a triangle around the group of youths as they began to fight them on multiple fronts the other youths being to slow to stop their movements.
As they began their assault on the massive group of contestants Lucian continued to lengthen that ammount of the chain that spun striking any enemy unlucky enough to be in its way.
The battle raged on like this the more average light family youths cut down like fodder amine Lucian and the other 3 youths.
After a few hours Lucian the white haired girl, the dark skinned youth, and the youth that appeared the same as him were all that remained.
Lucian was visbly exhausted while the others were arguably in worse condition as they had maintained cuts wounds and bruises in the nasty brawl.
"Hehe" the youth Lucian's age began to laugh "hehehahauhuahuahau" as if he had heard the funniest joke in existence his maniacal laughter continued before his eyes darted at the other 3 youths that remained.
He rushed Lucian first who was undoubtedly the most prepared to fight back.
Seeing this the other youths gathered themselves and joined the fray turning the fight into a 4 man free for all.
Lucian traded blows with the youth his age sending his opponent into the girl that landed her attack on the youth as well while Lucian parried an attack from the dark haired youth sending him sliding backwards.
Lucian attempted to recover only to be met with a stiff set of knuckles flying into his jaw sending him tumbling as he struggled to stabilize himself the other youths took advantage of his new opening as well, as all 3 youths rushed Lucian.
"So cut throat.." Lucian said as he finally lost consciousness and passed out before the other youths could reach him and count his knockout as their own.
